Pratchett Stan's are pretty toxic, like most Stans are. The fact it isn't a word-for-word remake means it's a tarnish to his legacy.

I'm a big Discworld fan. The Watch is completely different to the books. They have taken inspiration. But it still looks great. I actually prefer they have adapted it instead of trying to make it like the books, as they would never have got it right in the first place.

Yeah I saw your post about it. I'm a part of the Discworld bookclub group on Facebook, and they are absolutely rabid. If you mention you are looking forward to it they attack you saying you are pissing on the legacy of Pratchett, you're not a real fan, etc. It's so toxic.

I am really looking forward to The Watch, but boy are the Discworld fandom up in arms about it.

I understand what you are saying. If people have top of the line PC's and expected/wanted to run the game at full graphics they certainly should be able to, and shame on the developers. All I was trying to say is that for people like me, if you aren't too fussed at having the best graphics and are more about just playing the game, then it runs fine.

It was discounted on steam as well. I was surprised to see it. Just turn the graphics down. I always do that with games regardless. I haven't had any issues and I certainly don't have a top of the line PC.

I'm finding combat frustrating. SPOILERS AHEAD:

Jesus, I don't even remotely have a top of the line PC, I put the graphics to medium because I don't really care enough about graphics, more gameplay, and even my game doesn't look even remotely that bad. My game doesn't look bad at all.

So far I haven't come across anything too bad. There are glitches with npc's, but that's about it. I haven't done a heap of combat, but I'm finding there is too much to try and do during combat for how fast paced it is. Trying to hack stuff while trying to shoot 5 guys in the head is near impossible.

Yeah, I think it all just crashed. Spoke too soon.

Servers are handling it really well. It's only taking me about 30 minutes to download the patch.

I jumped back into TF2. And that's my year.

Yeah, sorry, it's this one, not whatever I said earlier. I decided to buy it as there were snippets of actual in-game footage and it looked like a combination of a bunch of games I have played previously and enjoyed. It might be a tough ask for Emily to let me buy the Isaac expansion next year because I threw 90 bucks on this :@

Still can't believe Perez has missed two races this year and is running 4th in the drivers championship.

The PC reviews for CP seem to be pretty good.

Some really great points in there. We need to remember that Stroll is always going to be considered the #1 driver for the team and thus driving the "#1 car". So if Checo is driving a sub-car and continually outshining Stroll it's basically throwing points (and money) down the drain for nepotism and egos. It's fucking ludicrous. And with Vettel coming in, if they put him as a number 2 driver it would be laughable, and not something Vettel would put up with, I am sure. I guess the issue with Checo going to Red Bull is that he is clearly a #1 driver and you are putting him against Verstappen, who with his ego won't want to put up with that kind of stuff. Politics are really hurting Perez for no fault of his own.

Perez has every right to stand up on the podium and give everyone a massive middle finger, but he is just way too nice a guy to do that. I shed a tear when he won. The way he passed Stroll, gained the lead, then won 10 seconds ahead of everyone else, what an incredible drive.

I don't ever buy AAA games anymore, so this would be the first I was looking at getting, and now I've been put off, haha!

If it's similar to Fallout then I will probably get it.
