  1. I bought it. Don't think I'll download it right away though, too much other stuff ATM
  2. Yeah I'm looking at TWoM too. Although I'm starting to get a backlog of games so I'm not sure if I'll get time to play it, especially since I got into the Legacy of the Void beta as well
  3. It depends exactly what you're looking for, personally I think that game is ruined by its UI
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjWUlx9gPgI Since I brought it up. The newLEGACYinc stream. In case you wanted another 3 hours of 5 Star Wrestling and I think we all do
  5. I saw it on the New Legacy INC. stream the other night, for an unlicensed indie game it's not the worst game ever....still pretty terrible but not the worst game ever
  6. New Season. Same Crashtor Maldonado
  7. AFAIK the Australian court has no jurisdiction outside of Australia, but there's nothing stopping VDG going to court in every country. The latest news there is VDG has gone back to court to get Sauber's assets seized, but the hearing for that has been adjourned for negotiations till 9am Saturday (10pm Friday night GMT). Most likely like James said, they pay him off. For what it's worth, Ericsson and Nasr were both in FP2
  8. The appeal was dismissed. VDG is racing this weekend
  9. Probably, but I'll wait for a Steam Sale on it or something
  10. I've made a horrible mistake. I bought Plague Inc. Evolved. I haven't seen the sun in 3 days as I plot more inventive viruses to kill the world.
  11. I always considered doing something like that with American Samoa, then I realised they face places like Tonga so it would be too easy
  12. Like I said I'm done. There is clearly no other way but the one true way. Heretics shall be burned.
  13. So just because they raised enough for a character that automatically means "Tainted"? That's still less than half of what they raised.
  14. But do you see also that it's possible a majority didn't come from 4chan? I'm not denying money DID come from 4Chan. I'm simply saying you can't prove that that's the only source or even the majority. I'm not saying you have to believe me, you can believe that it's a 4Chan stunt. I just want you to accept the notion that a discussion on a message board doesn't automatically mean "Guilty as charged"
  15. IT'S NOT FUCKING VERVIFIBLY FALSE! Your source is a link to a fucking 4chan discussion. How the fuck do you know how much of the donations came from 4chan members and how much came from Gamergaters who don't know the fucking slightest thing about the thread? Okay, by the same logic, how do you know how much of the donations came from Gamergate at all to make your big proud statements of supporting a feminist group? The fact that the thread exists, in which it is suggested that GamerGate donate to their IndieGoGo, and then GamerGaters did exactly that kind of suggests a cause and effect, though, doesn't it? And the fact that the people responsible for said thread were then given the opportunity to design a video game character would suggest that their donations were substantial, wouldn't it? The evidence is there to support our side of the argument. It isn't there to support yours. How are we the ones getting accused of blindly clinging to our side of the story here? Because you won't see any other way. Your narrative is "It started on 4chan, therefore it must be". You won't even entertain the POSSIBILITY of it being otherwise. What am I supposed to do? Hack into IndieGoGo, find EVERY person who donated to TFYC and then hack into 4 AND 8chan to see if they have an account or not?

  17. Because TFYC had a dispute with Zoe Quinn, and to give yourselves the equivalent of the 'some of my best friends are black' routine. I give up. I honestly fucking give up. If you truly believe that then you my friend are beyond redemption because you will never see anyway but your own. /pol/ - the place where your lot were organising the fundraising campaign - called it 'Operation Chemotherapy', because "they would support the cancer" which would make them "PR-untouchable". Source: http://i.imgur.com/E7XZaKz.png I stand by my first reply to this quote. So, wilful ignorance in the face of evidence, then? Not wilful ignorance, Just a pointless argument. I could easily say "Not all Gamergaters are members of 4/8chan" or "Not every Gamergater agrees with their views" but what's the fucking point? You guys have already made up your minds and nothing I say will change that. That's been made ABUNDATELY clear over the 13 pages of this thread. So fine, whatthefuckever. Believe what ever the fuck you want. Here I'll make it easy for you to add to your little circlejerk "I'm a Gamergater and as such I deserve to die" Happy now?

  20. If you really want me to. Should video games be art? Well yes, there are plenty of clichés and I welcome new ideas. Saying Depression Quest is a "game" though is an insult to those true indie developers you speak of that actually put effort into their art form. Depression Quest is a Choose Your Own Adventure book that was made on Twine. I can do that, Twine is not a difficult program to use. That still doesn't make it a game though, it's still a choose your own adventure book. To say we try and control the narrative is disingenuous because even if we were trying to do that we're not exactly doing a good job of it are we? The only thing we hear all the time is "You're Gamergate. You're a hate group" and the same confirmation bias over and over and over until your head feels like it's going to explode, to say that WE define what a "Gamer" is so laughable it barely deserves a response, who are we to say what is a gamer and what isn't? We who support Gamergate are not the fucking Borg collective, we each have different ideas on what constitutes a "gamer" You know what MY definition of "Gamer" is? A person who plays video games, that's it, you don't need a fancy card or to be "one of us" to qualify for your "Gamer" card. You enjoy playing video games? Congratulations! you're a Gamer! Just like me. Does that mean I have ideas of what "Games" are compared to what you might believe? Of course it does. But I'm not going to exclude you just because you play a game I may see as "casual". The only way I would not call you a "Gamer" is if literally the ONLY game you ever played was Depression Quest, because I don't believe that's a game. Your mileage may vary. As saying we don't support indie developers and indie games or females in the industry. Why then are Gamergaters one of the biggest providers to the IndieGoGo of The Fine Young Capitalists? An FEMINIST group who gives scholarships to women who have ideas for games and provides them with the tools to get their idea presented right and then has fans vote on which game they'd actually play? Hey you know who hacked their indiegogo page and tried to get them banned from the site? People associated with Brianna Wu and Zoe Quinn! Why? For the sin of "You took money from Gamergate, you must hate women and are just weaponizing charity" However much you want to try and paint us as such, we are not the monster in the closet. We just want what we believe is fair, some disclosure and control and what we see and read, so we know we can trust games journalism again. But as we've seen time and time again, that won't ever happen, because all we hear everywhere is "You're a hate group". "Why don't you change the argument if you truly believe stuff?" "You'll never change" blah, blah, blah. Then you get upset when we try and get out of the corner you're backing us into. Like I said earlier, I'm tired of arguing, you believe one thing. I believe another. But don't try and tell me we're trying to control the narrative, we lost control of this argument long ago.
  21. I will congratulate on this good sir, I've never heard a funnier joke in my life
  22. I'm not saying you did. I just know where this ends. It's tough to be rational when you feel you're being irrationally labelled. In the end I've stated what I believe, have there been trolls in Gamergate? Of course, just as there's been on the other side, but we don't believe the entire Anti GG movement is irredeemably tainted because of it. In the end it's just like two rams butting heads. I believe I'm right, they believe otherwise.
  23. Do you honestly think if we did that the misogynists would not follow to what ever statement or flag we put out there? This is one of the most pathetic excuses I have ever seen for anything, ever. You deserve the negative reactions you get, because you're too lazy, too scared or you don't care enough to actually try and get away from them. In your opinion. My question still stands, because we HAVE changed once before. From "The Quinnspiracy" to "Gamergate", we did that to specifically get away from the people harassing Zoe Quinn and to focus on our issue, the Grayson issue and the subsequent issues that followed. What happened? The Harrassers followed us to the Gamergate group. It's easy to say "Change the Flag" or "Why not try this?" but we already know that simply doesn't work. So tell me oh wise one, since you clearly have all the answers, what do we do when we switch tags and the narrative is either "Look at the misogynists trying to prove they're not misogynists but hiding behind another tag" or in three months when that tag gets spammed by trolls who have nothing to do with the group we're back at the same fucking spot? It could be a tangible evidence that you guys are distancing yourselves from the assholes and quite likely they'll get bored following you round, if as you say they're simply trolls. Sounds like they're getting their kicks from making you guys look like misogynists so keep changing your "flag" till they get bored. What's a genuine good reason not to at least try, if you're so dead set and serious about tackling the ethical issues? While I'm here, tone it down with the hostile aggression. That's for everyone not just Troy. Debate it all you want but if you get pissed off just walk away. I apologise and will withdraw myself again. I just get a little defensive and angry when I'm painted as a misogynist and a member of a hate group when the majority is not a hate group.
  24. Not really. I do this incredibly assholely thing tumblrs don't like. It's called thinking Well it's certainly not reading. Like I said it's biased, of course Quinn is going to feel that way. But you can't damn a group for the actions of members who may or may not be members in the first place
  25. You did a horrible, lousy fucking job at it then. And of course, I believe everything ever posted on Tumblr There is literally no way, between the time Sousa posted that and you responded, that you could have read that. There's no need to, it's from Quinn herself and it's on Tumblr. I don't need to read it to know it's biased
