  1. Have you been reading it long or just jumped on for that? I have been looking for a good Spider Man book to jump on.
  2. Is the new game just going to be for the 3DS or can the DSI play them?
  3. Avenger's Academy seems pretty good from the three issues I read, but I could not add another book to my box. I already had way too much and had to cancel some due to how much it was costing. Def a book I would look into getting the TPB in the future though.
  4. Batman from the new 52 has been pretty darn good. Nightwing and Batman and Robin are also good. I cannot say much about the other books from personal experience, but I have heard Batgirl was worth a try.

Seriously? I wanted to know what happened next too.
  6. To be fair, Bobby did not go to heaven with Dean and Sam and get to see how it was. It was a strange response though as he could have said that you either go to heaven or hell.
  7. I have to echo the sentiment for Green Lantern, I am enjoying it. It is a slow burn too, making you wait for the next issue. Batman is a really great comic and Court of Owls story is pretty cool, a lot of praise from everyone I have spoken too also. Swamp Thing and Animal Man I would recommend reading them both. They are basically crossing over the whole way and are excellent, especially Swamp Thing. I have yet to hear one bad thing about Animal Man and I agree, it is also creepy at times and you have no idea what is coming next (at least I feel this way). I am also reading Justice League International which I think is fun (I like Booster Gold though so..) and I just received issues 1-5 of Aquaman, but I have heard nothing but good things about it also. If I had to rank the comics I would say Swamp Thing, Batman, Green Lantern, Animal Man, Justice League International. I personally find it weird to read GL, Batman and Justice League (which is why I never picked up Justice League) since I get the characters I really like already without having to deal with Superman and crew also. I have also heard that GL is extremely annoying in Justice League and that turns me off. Hope this helps you make a choice!
  8. I picked up the first issue of Swamp Thing to check it out, the owner of the store told me he highly recommended it also. I basically am reading Green Lantern, Batman, Justice League International and kind of Punisher (just waiting for the books with multiple issues). I am enjoying all of them so far.
  9. Who is actually doing that in this thread? I think it's awesome that they deviate from the comic. I meant in general, not the forum or thread. I know people that say these things and the article was basically centered around that.
  10. It seems that most people's complaints about the show is that it does not follow the comic and I always ask...so? Michonne was not in the first episode! Oh no! Why would you want to watch a show that you literally have the exact script of at home in the comic? That seems to be the bulk of the argument in that article and the comments being made.
  11. The Texans have sent Demeco Ryans to the Eagles for a fourth rounder and they swapped third rounders. I am not sure why a team that does so well would get rid of those pieces that made them so.
  12. I just picked up all the issues of The Green Lantern, with the exception of the fourth one. I'd recommend it, I have only read the first three since I want to read them in order and the story so far is one of my favorites I've read of the new 52. I also picked up 4 and 6 of Swamp Thing, so I was able to catch up on that and my god! If you have ever read the Alan Moore Swamp Thing, which is one of my favorite string of comics this is almost as good. Definitely worth checking out, can't recommend it enough. I was never too big on Swamp Thing, so I did not pick it up. Same thing with Animal Man, though I have heard great things. I did pick up some more Green Lantern because I enjoyed it and I am hoping #2 and on from Batman shows up as my comic book shop. I also picked up Justice League International, so I think those are the three books I am sticking with right now.
  13. Kirkman actually answered this on Talking Dead and he says she is upset at herself. Plus, she did not really seem to get upset until Rick mentioned Carl's involvement.
  14. Has anyone picked up any of the rebooted DC comics and enjoyed them? More specifically, the Green Lantern or Green Arrow comics?
  15. Reggie Wayne re-signs with the Colts on a three year deal! Luck will have someone to throw to!
  16. And Cortland Finnegan follows Fisher to the Rams with a 5-year, $50 million dollar deal. Good pick up, quality corners are tough to find....even if Cortland is a bit of a head case.
  17. Is Osi Umenyiora a free agent? I thought his contract was up this year and I have heard nothing about him since the Superbowl.
  18. I wonder if Blackman will still drop to the Rams. I imagine them drafting defense though.
  19. They really want Luck to fail. Seriously, why get rid of Clark and Freeney? You cleared up 28 mil and let go of Wayne and Saturday....why are the Colts totally taking apart the team?
  20. The Niners need a deep threat and a number one receiver, they should give up that number one pick (which probably would be a WR..or CB anyways) and pay Mike Wallace. I would be surprised if they do not, the Patriots love getting rid of 1st rounders though.
  21. http://www.comicvine...preview/143678/ these? Edit: Nvm, the previews just took a while to load, but I see it. Might have to grab these too.
  22. Do you have any suggestions on anything with Mr. Sinister also? Nice to actually know people that read and know about comics to ask this stuff to.
  23. I got the whole Joss run for a buck an issue on my ipad and if you love Colussus you will love it. Great stuff Thanks, I think I will actually check that out then. Looks like about 24 issues and a nice start, have to see if I can get it on my Kindle if it is up on the I-Pad.
  24. I thought it was a lot of the Marvel characters and included the X-Men, I suppose they are not the focal point though? I just want some Colossus and Gambit, as well as some other interesting characters in a "modern" book. Thanks for the Green Lantern recommendations though, I need to go to my nearest comic book store and start grabbing books.
  25. I want to get into comics ( my brother had a huge collection and I use to look through his), and was wondering if the Civil War is worth starting from? I am a fan of Colossus and Gambit, so will probably want to stick with X-Men stuff and that seems to be the biggest thing in a while. I enjoy Green Lantern and was wondering if anyone knew a good book to start on with him?
