Accident #1

I agree with a few posted so far. A most recent one that got me was the Boy in the Striped Pajamas. If anyone has seen it, I hope they understand why.

It is really sad and shitty that teams tank the season for one guy..especially with the history of quality/franchise QBs that have come from later rounds. Tom Brady anyone? It really seems like the Colts are tanking the season for Luck and he will not even start for a few years. I do not think Peyton will be retiring for a few years unless the surgery really messed him up more than helped. Either way, it is clearly the defense that needs upgrading. Painter had us winning a game and the defense allowed the Chiefs to come back and the defense allowed 62 points (unless they did it purposely, of course). Either way, it is unfair to fans for the teams to do this for a rookie that may or may not pan out.

Just out of curiosity (and should probably put the answer in spoiler tags), but has their been any "special" infected or a mutated zombie of some sort in the comics?

Just something I noticed that did not seem consistent:

Those two first picks might be a bit much but are you seriously valuing Boller on the same level as Carson Palmer? SERIOUSLY? SERIIIIOUSLY?!?!?!? Wasn't Palmer the one with the dodgy knees? Also, is Gerrard still on FA? either way, i rate this trade very uncomfortable for the reason that Palmer isn't who he once was. And i dont rate Boller over him, i do believe though that Boller deserves a chance rather than you throw away such high draft picks for a QB that havent played a match since January Garrard needs surgery though, so that is probably why they went all out to grab Palmer.

Are the people they showed for the next episode from the comics? And is the show basically following the comics pretty well or is he doing its own thing? Questions for people that have read the comics of course. Also, that ending had me gutted. I did not expect that but I am happy The Walking Dead has finally returned and it did not let me down. Anyone catch the talk show afterword? I think it is a pretty unique little thing that works out. I liked them discussing stabbing the zombies and the no fear of being infected with all the blood flying.

I am not sure what to think about American Horror Story yet. It is really creepy and odd and kind of goes all over the place which I am not big on, but it is interesting. It is like everyone has free roam of their house too and I really hate that creepy neighbor. I will continue to watch to see what develops, but yeah...very weird show. < posted this in the general thread And yeah...I guess maybe the normal financial issue of moving maybe? And why does the dad run his job out of his home? I see many...many problems to come just for that.

Good thing about cut days is that you could cut Tuck if you think he is not playing to his level for what he is being paid and then resign him for much cheaper. That is how I cut cap without getting a penalty from trading or normal releasing. Bradshaw fumbles too much so you should let him go though. >_>

I never thought I would laugh at a masturbation scene, but Workaholics has been it. Temp-tress episode almost killed me. Is anyone else watching this?

Has anyone been watching Prime Suspect? I am really liking Maria Bello in it and this is like the first real "cop" show I have ever decided to watch so I am digging it.

Are you saying everyone else has 0 sacks? If not, some other people had an even amount of half sacks while one person has an odd number leaving him with a .5 showing. The latter, yeah. It will be one guy with .5 sacks and everyone else with a whole number. For example, Pat Angerer has 9.5 sacks while the rest of the team was like 11, 8, 5, etc...I want to know who got the other .5!

Anyone notice if you simulate a game or two in franchise mode, there will be a guy with a .5 sack but NO ONE ELSE ON THE TEAM? It bugs me and I think it has been happening for a few years in Madden now. Apart from that, I am loving franchise mode and actually having fun playing the games and scouting/drafting. I have never done a draft until this game because I actually like the system now.

Seahawks are getting Luck, they do not even have to purposely tank the season to get the first pick. They are bad enough and need a QB bad.

Is anyone else having the problem that they set their game options (I set all-pro, eight minutes, etc..) and start a franchise and it is automatically at pro? It is really annoying since I am doing a game and I have to set the difficulty each time in Franchise mode to get a decent game at the least.

I did the exact same thing and thought it was my copy. I returned it for a new one before I deleted the old corrupted data and realized I should probably wait this time.

What difficulty/sliders do you have set? And you traded Urlacher from the Bears?!!!? Bold move and is that not a huge cap penalty? Sounds like an awesome game you had though, I have just been playing superstar mode lately and am enjoying it, despite the huge amount of points I get so Gabbert already has 99 all of his throwing stats on week 11.

I use eight minutes and I like it. It is about forty five minutes a game, can go an hour if OT and all that. My friend hates it, he likes much shorter 5 minute quarters, but I try to get the most realistic without having to play for four hours.

Anyone with Resistance 3 up for some online co-op or online multiplayer this weekend? Playing the solo campaign for a bit in between school work right now and really digging it so far.

Did you buy Grave Encounters or see it somewhere else? Rented it on Xbox Live. Also watched another movie last night: Lake Mungo Watched this on a whim, knowing nothing about it besides its Netflix description and decided to watch because the runtime was short... wound up being one of the most original, genuinely terrifying movies I've seen in my life. The "BOO!" scares are kept to a minimum (maybe one in the entire movie), not a drop of blood is spilled and there are no screaming twenty-somethings, but it is incredibly unsettling and downright brilliant. It's on Netflix Instant, you need to see it. I really need Netflix to watch these films I would not normally see. I saw the trailer for Grave Encounters and found it interesting, will have to pick up though. Is Lake Mungo like "found-footage"?
