  1. Deadwood made the best TV list!!! I could have sworn I was the only person that watched it. That rules. The film list was weird. I agree the Empire list was better, but that had some weird choices too.
  2. But he hasn't had the best internationally, and its an all-round package that is needed to get the award. I admit, he should be top 10, if not top 5............
  3. In an interview, Klitchsko nicknamed Williams the 'Iron Jaw'!
  4. Reservoir Dogs 8/10. Maybe 8.5 if you catch me in a generous mood
  5. Its two days away from the Klitchsko vs. Williams big fight! And thought I'd make a thread about it. I know Klitschko is the favourite, but I really think Williams can pull this one out and win. This is also a great time for Williams to claim a hold over a weak Heavyweight division. So, discuss and talk about the fight, just two days away! Plus, I was also wondering if anyone over here (UK) was ordering the event on Sky Box office? Sky are promising 8 (count 'em - 8) hours of boxing. They are also showing Ricky Hatton vs. Wayne Oliveira (Sky are promoting the two as a 'Brit Power' double bill), and are showing other fights, including a WBO Light Welterweight fight, a British Banthamweight title match and an English Heavyweight title fight, and other fights too. All this for £14.95 I'm in two minds over wether to order the PPV event or not. I doubt I'd stay up all night, so I may order a replay. Is anyone else ordering on Sky Box Office? As I said, I hope Williams can pull this out. Discuss.
  6. The Incredibles 6/10 Over-rated and overhyped. Have no intention of seeing it again, but it was ok to sit through in the cinema. Wasn't bad at all, just not good. Samuel L. Jackson's bit part was good. I'd have much preferred to have seen the Manchurican Candidate, which I actually went to see in the first place, but that screening was full
  7. I havent got this yet, but I am getting it for Christmas. Been reading this a bit, and I want it more now! I'm going on 03/04 in the meantime. Just a quick question about this, as an international manager, can you select who you have friendlies against, as opposed to the game deciding? Its no biggy, but I'm curious. Roll on dec. 25th!

  9. Yeah, that sounds right. Thought it had been a while since the sides met. Nice memory man!
  10. I'm happy with the draw. Villa are good, but beatable. I dont think we have as good a squad as we did during the 02/03 season (when we made the semi's of both cups), but we have a decent FA Cup run in us, and on our day we can win. Could be better, could be worse, looking forward to it. COME ON UNITED!!!
  11. I'm saying its harder to make people tap - its still piss easy to beat them by pinfall on the harder settings, but being able to get a submission would be nice, there is no need for extremes as Rock Box Said. I actually said that, and explained the whole point if you'd bothered reading. I also explained exactly why I enjoyed SD!2 more at the time, and backed my opinion up with some examples, rather than make a random statement with no attempt to back it up.
  12. I played this with a mate, and wasn't going to get it. Then, I passed a shop in town yesterday, and saw 'OFFER OF THE WEEK - Smackdown vs. Raw just £24.99'. At that price I might as well right? Wrong. Its awful. I didn't like the last game, but this is worse. - Its still ridiculously easy, and I never feel like I may actually loose, on the hardest difficulty setting - It plays soooooo slowly. I practically fall asleep in matches. Sometimes the CPU just walks right across the ring and back for no reason, or you press to lock up, and their is a pause for a second or two and nothing happens. - The Submission system is awful. Firstly type A submissions (the button bashing bar), why does it get harder to move the bar on higher difficulties? Its like being punished for being good at the game. You can either have the luxury of being able to submit people, but play on a setting a week old foetus could beat, or play on a harder setting, but not make people tap. Then, type B submissions- well, whats the point in having two types? And why are Benoit and Jericho's Crossface/Walls of Jericho finishers type A, but Flair's figure 4 is type B? - You cant change rosters or edit face/heel at the start of season mode. Why? - Roster is awful. Ok, my fav game in the SD! series was SD!2. It was arcade wrestling done well, not this weird half arcade, half sim hybrid we get now, but moreover, then roster was HUGE. It was impossible to get bored with the 'same old matches' because you could NEVER run out of possibilities. The roster was awesome, and created so many possible match-types, and made the game a lot better, because you could not get bored with the same wrestlers. The roster on this is awful. They barely made an effort at all, and I'm practically bored of 'same old matches' already. And their is absolutley NO excuse for such a shite roster. Make an effort please! Why do I want to play as a random legend if I cant play as someone one TV now? - Create a PPV mode. I was looking forward to this like hell. Firstly you get some good options like what arena you want, announcers etc. Then you book matches. So far so good. Then it generates a hype video for your Main Event. Excellent. Then you get an awesome 'Tale of the Tape' screen for each matches. Great. Play/Sim/Watch all the matches whatever. And thats it............ Now, SD2 gave you % ratings for each match, and an overall one for PPV, It listed the top 10 matches and events of all time - it was like a simplistic TEW. Where have they gone???? Part of the fun was trying to make better matches and better PPV shows. And its gone - thats the only reason why I'd play the mode, so the entire mode has been rendered utterly POINTLESS because your segments/shows aren't rated. Fucking pointless waste of time. - I spent ages searching for challenge mode. Realised that it must just be a series of goals you have to achieve in exhibition/Season mode. But where is a list of these challenges? Where? How the fuck am I supposed to know what the fuck to do? Make it a proper game mode next time Very poor game.
  13. I'd go for Halo and Knight's of the Old Republic as must haves. Fable is worth looking at, as is Project Gotham 2 if you like racing games and Top Spin if you like Sports games. Unreal Tournament is good if you can get it cheap, expecially in multi-player. Next year, i'm lucking for Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Wrestlemania XXI (not made by the same developers who did the GC series thankfully) And even though they are already out on other formats and have been out ages (1st came out in 2000 IIRC) then the Max Payne games are very very very cheap at the mo, and are well worth it.
  14. I agree totally with Zero. Whilst Beavis and Butthead do America isn't a bad film, it just lacks a certain factor, and it just feels like a feature length TV episode. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut feels like South Park Extreme or Supersized ot whatever. It does offer so much more then the TV series and feels so much better. It is a great example of a good TV to film conversion, as it is BIGGER and offers more than the show. Anyway: Spider-Man 2 8.5/10 A fantastic film. but what stops it getting a higher rating? Well, at times it just feels like watching the first (which is no bad thing, the first is a very good film, 8.10 IMHO, but it just feels a bit samey in places - Another conversation between Peter and MJ as he takes out the trash, another burning building with people to save, MJ gets a wet shirt again, and the baddie is another scientist- failed experiment person. But, as said, the original was great, so it's not like I didn't mind them again. Also, at times the soap-opera style (which is one of the films better points) does get taken a tad too far. But it's still an awesome film, and is quite funny (expecially for an Action-Adventure flick), and gets the poignant bits across well. Plus, their's lots of little gems and nuggets and references if you luck. And the fight scene on the mono-rail is AWESOME. The Bourne Identity 7/10 - WHAT is all the fuss about? It's been notjhing above average everytime I've watched it.
  15. Thanks, that helped, but I still failed. Normally 2 of them are left when they escape, and doing it as you suggested left me with one. I'm just keep replaying this mission over and over again. By the law of averages I have to pass it once..............
  16. The Wrong Side of the Tracks I can keep up with the train, and Smoke is shooting all the time. Only Smoke couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, and they always get out into the country and escape. Help!
  17. I just failed 'The Wrong Side of the Tracks' mission for Big Smoke when I drove the bike off a large enbankment. I then failed the OG Loc 'Life's a Beach' mission because I suck at pressing buttons at the right time/in-tune.
  18. Right, I did the Sweet mission Ceasar whatever his surname is, and I stopped being able to get missions off Sweet. I was under the impression that once I did the 'High-stakes, Low Rider' mission, I would once again be able to get missions of Sweet. I did 'High-stakes, Low Rider', and couldn't get Sweet again. I completed Ryders missions, and no Sweet. I have Big Smoke and OG Loc n my radar. Do I have to complete these missions before getting Sweet again, or is Sweet only available at a certain time, or have I just got it wrong, and their is no more Sweet? Thanks.
  19. Depends, if it's England in the wrong then it's closed doors on friendly games and Qualifiers and threats of being thrown out of tournaments. But if it's not England then a light slap on the wrist should just about do it ←
  20. I just failed the high-stakes, low-rider mission, whem my ride blew up. It was smoking when I started the mission though, it took some damage getting there - and none of it was my fault! Los Santos has the worst drivers in the world. My driving was golden.......... Anyhow, i'm dreading this mission, because i suck at race missions, and just racing games in general. Plus, I have been doing TONNES of break-ins cos they're awesome, but I only ever seem to get 2/3 items per house, and never seem ti make that much.
