  1. Paranormal Activity Two Okay, so I recently saw the first installment in the rumored trilogy, and well the film didn't live up the hype that has been built up about it, it was a decent flick that could make wonder what really goes on at night when you go to sleep, with a tight, somewhat over the top (for what it was trying to play its self out to be, a true story) final twenty minutes or so. Hell, the metaphor of a young couples first house (and worries) being a demon although not original, seemed fresh in the way it was done. So along comes part two, which is supposed more intense, disturbing and scary then the original... and it falls flat, on just about every attempt besides one quick "boo scare", hell the "demon" being a metaphore for the worries for a married couple that just had there first child (together), fails on this outing as well. So now I find myself sitting here wondering, whats so "scary" about these movies? Maybe I'm missing out because I usually don't get to see movies in the theatre, with a huge group of people ready to be scared shitless.. I, for one, am all Paranormal Activitied out. If they make a part three (and they will), that will be it, because after just two installments, this series is already losing alot of the creativity it brought to the genre.
  2. If that article is 100% legit, I woulda sold my soul to be at the tribial concuil. Wacky off the wall characters like that totally make life worth living of, and I'll stand by comment before that even if Jeff was "exhausted", I know he was licking his chops for those entire two+ hours.. Federal Agent Philip is going to be great comic relief this season, if Rob and company choose to keep him around.
  3. Pretty good season opener, better then last seasons first episode. I highly enjoyend last season if not for Marty, then for watching Fabio start off as a boy on the island and coming full circle in the final few episodes to becoming a man in a sense. That tribal conucil couldn't have been any better drama wise, I know Jeff & crew where just loving that "Federal Agent"'s melt down, cause it made for some great television! Boston Rob's comment well casting his vote was classic, "I love playing with you amatures.. you make it so easy. The challenge was nothing to write home about, although it really just showed how much the newbies really don't know what they are doing (Russell saving the day was priceless). Speaking of Russell, odds are its not going to happen, but I hope he comes full circle this season and finds his "Redemption" ala Rob in Heroes Vs Villians, but thats just the fact that I'm probably the only person in the world whom actually likes the Devil himself more then Boston Rob. It should be an interesting, and entertaining season and hopefully both Rob and Russell can find some kind of closure during the course of this season and bring there "story arcs" to an end. But maybe thats because I'd like to have Marty and Jane return for next season and battle it out on the island again, lol. Can't wait for next week!
  4. Both the casting of Anne and Tom are alright, since Nolan seems to have a way with bringing out the best in people, so I'd be surprised if this turned out to be a train wreck or anything close to that. As far as Bane and Catwoman go, meh.. lets face it, as for as the 'male villians' go, a character like The Riddler, who had been rumored for this movie for awhile now, would have some HUGE shoes to fill, since depending on whos writing the character, both he and Joker can sometimes be easy to intertwine character motivation wise (just ask Jim Carrey, who clearly watched Jack's take on a Batman villian and tried his best to recreate that), so Bane is a nice change of pace.
