  1. If looks could kill, Rick would be in a Samoan jail for the murder Benjamin Wade.
  2. Shits getting real now. Should be an interesting watching Ozzy kiss the brat's ass, now. THE EVIL MUSIC OF DOOM just was cherry on the cake.
  3. Him calling out Albert last episode was great, but him putting Coach in his place was just completely on another level of bad ass-ness. Its a shame over he lacked a voice this season, could have easily been the new generation of Rupert, Imo. On a side note, I really can't see Coach running the entire game at this point. He's burned four bridges in a row now, people will take him to the finals just because odds are it won't be that hard to beat him. Funny thing is, a month ago he was playing a Boston Rob like game with a guaranteed win - how can one fuck themselves over so easily?
  4. Hugh mistake keeping Sophie around, she played the victim card to a tee and if makes it to the finals, depending on who is with her, that's going to factor into the voting for sure. Rick telling Coach to take a seat was just awesome, wheres this bad ass been hiding all season?
  5. Unlike a lot of Survivor fans, I was never really anti-Brandon, although I admit he was edited to look like a creeper at first he grew on me with each passing episode. Its clear his intentions where in the right place, and its a shame he was unable to realize he was playing a game for 1,000,000 dollars and he'd have to lie and backstab at some point. Hopefully he gets called back at some point, I'd take him over just about an other cast member from this season - Cochran included.
  6. I wouldn't say it was so much Albert's doing as it was Coach's, though, yeah he was pretty selfish in keeping the Immunity Necklace, and yeah he may of knew that Brandon could have been on the chopping block, but his body language post-vote suggests he was seriously shocked, the facial expressions to the taking the necklace off as Brandon walked into the night to me suggested Coach may have led him just as much as he led Brandon on, to be honest, now only has he solidified himself as an outsider by voting against the alliance, but due to the outburst with Rick earlier that day and being outted as a sneak, there's no chance of him rebuilding the bridges his burned.. At least, thats how I took everything at the end of TC.
  7. So I just got this on computer yesterday, and for whatever reason it won't let me play multiplayer won't work, it says access is denied for whatever reason. Is Campaign and Special Ops mode just as fun as playing online?
  8. Its not that he has a chance of winning, its that has the numbers die down and the last lag of the game kicks in - he by fault will get even more screen time, and judging from I saw last night hes just going to become more and more annoying, and not in Phillip Sheppard kind of way where its midly entertaining, but more of a get the fuck off kind of way.
  9. I only caught everything after the first challenge, which includes Jim's Immunity win - I must have just barely missed it, as when I finally got home to watch, he was going off the "Save Ozzy" plan, which shut down by Coach & Crew, but you could see the wheels turning in Albert's head, and I really think he was on the verge of flipping - its a shame now, because he's dug himself in a hole where he has no choice but to follow Upolu, the numbers just aren't in his favor to do anything... Not only that, but its become clear that both him and Sophie have been moved down the chain of command and replaced Brandon and Cochran - speaking of which, I'm over that runt seriously, yeah I felt bad for him pre-merge... but now that hes become an honorary Upolu member, hes turning into a unbearable twit, really fast, its too the point that if he sneaks his way into the final three, I'll refuse to watch. You know, I was always a Coach fan, I always felt like the heat he got was unjustified, he made for great entertainment but I'm starting to wonder if he got a hold of Boston Rob after last season and seriously got some pointers, the game they've played are almost mirror images of each other.
  10. I don't really understand how he has sided with Ozzy, yes, he's played with him but yet out of everyone on his tribe, his done more to undermine him up until this point then anyone else. As well - if anything, Jim did go with the misfits, Elise will tell you that, if anything if he would have voted with Ozzy, Papa Bear would still be around and odds are the votes would have been a tie breaker between Keith and Rick. If anything, hes probably kicking himself for pushing to keep Cochran around now, but odds are he'll probably rebound anyways, at least for a vote or two, he seems to have a great understanding of how the game works and to be quite honest, although Cochran may have been the whipping boy no one from his tribe could have expected a flip right after post merge. If anything, I bet Dawn is regretting not ratting Cochran out, so Savaii could have cut some dead weight and throw a minor wrench in Coach's plans of talking some one into flipping.
  11. Not really missing out on anything to be honest, if you've gotten to the quitters episode, just stop there. The entire season falls apart after that, due to a lack of anything interest going on. NaOnka and her craziness was the only thing the show had going for it up until that point, from an entertainment stand point.
  12. So this season is already off to a better start then the Boston Rob show featuring The Special Agent already. I won't lie, when I first heard that Coach and Ozzy were the returning players, I was kind of let down. Ozzy, well skilled in the challenge has always under whelmed me in the personitaly department, he still is, his whole "Yeah, Okay, whatever" attitude to well, just about everything is upsetting, as theres literally groups of past Survivor's who'd love to be in his spot right now, so hopefully he actually starts showing he wants to be there. Coach on the other hand, well always a source of entertainment, impressed me tons this episode. He went from having a horrible start in losing that challenge to Ozzy (which isn't anything to be ashamed of, very few people can even hold there own against The Jungle Boy, but Coach did IMO), to finding himself setting high (IMO) with his makeshift alliance of five. Hopefully this time around he's actually here to play, and not just hog TV time, maybe this time we will see the actul Benjamin Wade, and not the Dragon Slayer. If the editing crew keep by the amazing job that have been doing the last few seasons with the story telling (i.e. Fabio's evolve from stoner boy to a man who has to overcome the odds infront of him, Rob's struggle to finally reach the mountain top) then I could easily see The Dragon Slayer becoming a thing of the past, and Coach could easily have found himself being loved for the person he actually is. I'm liking this Jim guy already, he seems like the type who could really take himself far, as he seems to the abitiy to read people dead on, but then again, putting himself out there the way he did could easily lead to his downfall if a Papa Bear or Ozzy finally step up and challenge him - or, if he makes to the merge, only to find out that him, and whatever is left for his tribe, are up against a well oilded machine, much like the Zaps did last season. The power struggle within Ozzy's tribe should be fun to watch, if nothing else though. I would have much seen The Creeper and his uncle on a season together, then back to back seasons, why not? If Big Brother (US) showed us anything with Dick and Dani, is that family members on reality shows also brings the drama, but whatevs, depending on how far he goes, and how interesting he is, I'm sure Creeper will be called back for the next All-Star in season, and Russ will be wait there waiting. Also, I don't know what it is about him, but am I the only one who sensed a little bit of the spirit of Fairplay in Cochran, just waiting to burst out at any given minute?
  13. Yeah, if it was a boot order or anything like that I would have made that beyond clear as to not spoil the up coming season, like mentioned its just a rumor I happened to stumble upon, figured I should put those in spoiler tags anyways though .
  14. Wasn't sure where to post this, but since it concerns to past Survivor players and this is a pretty active thread, might as well do it up here. Sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this is. Again sorry, yes they are spoilers for the upcoming season of Survivor, so you've been warned. I should have put that out there at first
  15. Brightest Day was just a mess...point blank period, you'd have to be a hardcore DC fan to follow that storyline IMO, since alot of the major players seemed to nothing but C-listers that I can remember. That, and I was highly invested in the Boston Brand/Dove storyline, and was let down at the storylines conclusion to say the least. It totally just seemed to be a swerve for the sake of having one and was just a slap in the face.
  16. Meh, if people really stop and think about this, its actually a really smart move on DC's part to reboot there titles and its not like its the first time something like this has happened, the Goldern and Silver ages both say hello guys. They realize that they have a new generation of fanbases to reach out to and instead of confusing them with years of storylines, why not just start fresh? Sure, its a slap in the face to diehard followers of there titles, but for every fan they may lose, I'm sure they'll pick up a ton more new fans, 'cause to be quite honest the most common question asked in a comic book shop is "I'm interested in such and such title (i.e. Green Arrow), wheres the best place to start reading to get into the storylines/comic?". Personally, I'll wait to see how it plays out before giving up on the idea, like I said it isn' the first time its been done, won't be the last, and its just a matter of how everythings handled.
  17. Nevermind, I was lazy and didn't realize there was already a thread about the movie, my bad.
  18. Its a shame that the worst thing to happen to Hatch in the last ten years or so seems to be winning the original Survivor, because personally I'd have loved for him to come back in Heroes Vs Villains, mind you he probably wouldn't make it too far into the game, but for pure entertainment value it'd be worth it to see him back. Mind you, thats the 12 year old Survivor fanboy talking. The game has changed way to much since his time on the island, due to his the foundation he himself layed down for other players to follow
  19. For what its worth, and this could be turn out to be 100% false so dont treat it like the word of god, but I was reading an article on Rises and an idea was pitched that if Venom comes into play in this movie (which it surely must) that instead of being pumped into Bane like in the comics, that the idea is to have it used as an inhalant, hence those sleketon fingers in the front of his mask in that picture. I know that Nolan likes to give his Batman films a feel of realism, but surely it would make since to keep the pump system since well, steroids are mean't to be injected, are they not? The same site also pitched the idea of the rumored Lazarus Pit to be the source of the Venom drug, which would in a way tie in with the Scarecrow's fear toxin/drug subplot from begins.
  20. I'm not forgetting that hes useless around camp, nor am I acting like hes a "force in challenges" but that point I was trying to make was wouldn't you want to bring someone with experience into a merge? If for nothing else, then an instant heat magnet (no doubt, thats how Rob would aim for right off the bat), who may somehow able to buy you atleast a little more in the game and no doubt, create a little crack in the Ometepe six that maybe the other Zaps could have worked on afterwards? I know its playing with fire, atleast with Russell but in my opinion, I'd rather have experiance on my side. To me atleast, that lack of experiance that they had really hurt them in the long run, they where fish in a bucket waiting to get shot. Mind you, no one could have really predicted the type of game play Boston Rob was going to bring into the game this time around, so maybe, just maybe losing Russell this time around wasn't a big lose, since he would have never probably got far enough into the game post-merge anyways to cause the choas that he employs to make it to the end.
  21. I personally look at it like why wouldn't you want to keep Russell, he was probably there best bet going into the merge because really, as pointed earlier on it was a bunch of newbies facing someone who has spent the better of ten years chasing this team, thats were his experience in Survivor would have payed off. People often look back at Russell and think of him as this generations "big bad", but if he had gone into this game and showed the same kind of loyality Foa Foa but getting atleast three of the four original alliance members he had to the final four, if he came into this game with that kind of mindset and managed to get just one other person (David? if kinda saw the light of what throwing the challenge did, but that was after the fact) I think his other alliance members, Krista and Stephanie would have kept him around until they atleast get rid of Boston Rob, then cut him loose and it would have been fair game at that point. Its hard to tell though, with that game that Rob brought to the table, even with experiance, I think it would have been hard to with stand an onslaught like that. Even if that plan didn't work out, you've always got a heat magnet for the Ometepe six to set there sights on and it possibly save you another day in the game, probably. In reality that game play is horrible and would never work, but its easier being a couch player then an actual player.
  22. It isn't hatred at Mike moreso then it is at Matt. I'm more frustrated at Mike, I'll dare say even let because during the start of the merge he showed that along with Dave and to a lesser extent in his own way Ralph he was the only that showed in ability to actually play the game with his accepts at flipping Matt... if he would have approched it in a more organic way I'm sure it would have payed off but I can understand the urgency he was as well, and then when that didn't work out, his at attempts at finding the idol were a good last ditch effort. If he would have played with that mind set the entire game, I would have more respect for then everyone out of the remaining Zaps and Matt not named before. Before RI and hundreds of immunity challenges of proved, anyone can go on a winning streak, it doesn't mean your really playing the game and in my mind, in the case of RI, a second rate chump either way. In other words, I prefer players that are actually well rounded and defined, not ones that play up just the physical aspect like both Mike and Matt did on RI. To me, that isn't very impressive at all.
  23. I have to say starting this season off, in my mind Boston Rob was just a tad bit over-rated and to be honest I was pulling for Lawyer Dave to go deep in the game once Russ was thrown out of his tribe and then the game, but as the season went on I found myself warming up to Rob, which was shocking and when he one that final immunity challenge I couldn't help but let a smile out as the man sealed his fate in the final four, and his confess interview that played during/afterwards when he admited at first he only cared about winning the game at first but then in a twist of irony he was content taking second or third place was good enough for him because he proved that he could make it til the end, if given a chance, was touching. If Philip ever comes back, hes already said that he has a plan B stragey to actually win Survivor in his next outing, but its going to be extremely hard for him to shake that "you're (not the n-word) crazy" stigma that will be attached to him, and I don't think he can shake it, if Coach couldn't shake it, but big ups to Agent Philip for making the best of a bad situation and taking a runner up prize instead. I'd love to see a Russ/Philip season, those interactions would be... interesting to say the least. Matt, and Mike for that matter, never come back. You're both two of the most useless players to ever play the game, and you're both lucky you had RI to carry you as far as you got. Am I wrong in thinking that Andrea makes getting not once, but twice adorable, I think both times she was blind sided she left with a smile on her face, totally getting that its a game... Which brings me to Grant, dude like what the hell? You're seriously going to hold a grudge against Rob for having no other choice but to get rid of what was his biggest threat to beat him? Or is he just that embarrased that the idol was under his nose the entire time and not once did he think that maybe, just maybe, Rob was letting him find those clues well, because, the idol was already gone? Seriously, its just a game, whats done is done, get over yourself man. Russell shaking Robs hand at the reunion was totally left field, but I total class act, coming from such a villian, ditto for Philip and Steve. Does anyone remember Jonathan Penner from Cook Islands? The dude who was inadvertently responsible from making sure that the Aitu four solidified there domaince (imo) during the latter part of that season? Then had to be removed from Fans Vs Favorites? I'd totally love for him to make a come back, I always thought it was a shame he had a to leave FvF, if he came back, I think he would do very well for himself, same with Marty from last season. Overall, not the best of seasons, it started off strong, kinda got stuck in a rut with the final solution type game play used on the Zaps post-merge, but picked up with again when it came down to the final six. Lastly congratulations Boston Rob Mariano, your ten year journey has come full circle and even if you hadn't won, you've found redemption in one viewers eyes. May you spend your days with that sly grin on your face, you earned this victory and you're finally at the top of that survivor mountain !
  24. Some hardcore Survivor fans I was talking to throughout the week have been going on about how this whole episode shows why Boston Rob is one of the greatest players to never win, but seriously after playing the game FOUR times and only having one great run, admittedly against some of the all-stars of that time, how hard is it really to manipulate a bunch of noobs? Surely it can't be that hard, on your forth time playing you should know the game inside out. Next week should be a good one, with silly serect agent Phil being all silly and stealing the show, and with mr. moonshine holding "all the power", which if anything, isn't power at all, and of course lover-boys woman out for revenge, the drama is about to start rolling in, and I'll be licking my chops as it unfolds.
  25. Finally atleast, someone else who enjoys the Iron Fist comics! Haha! I'm just starting to re-read these comics (never got to finish them on the first outing ) and even without the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven storyline being used as the first times storyline, with a proper writer whom respects any part of the comic book industry, Iron Fist could easily become a B/C-list Marvel hero breakout movie character ala Blade was back in the day. Even with a proper origin story to give movie goers a chance to warm up to the characters, SCCoH would make such an amazing sequel. I for one know that Ray Park has been pushing for the better half of a decade to get this character on-screen, and with Marvel's new plan to tie there movie world together, I don't see why it couldn't be done.
