  1. Finally this game likes me. Combines my Epic Naomi's, leaving her low level for now since she hasn't lost a match yet. I go an Epic Bray Wyatt to replace a normal UR Rey Mysterio since I finally have a good card that I can team with something.

    My team is now..

Epic Level 35 Rock (tag team)

Epic Level 35 Bray Wyatt (tag team)

    UR Pro Level 35 Cesaro

    UR Pro Level 25 Rock

    Epic Pro Level 20 Naomi

my back up KOTR is pretty awful...

    Epic Level 11 Erick Rowan

    UR Level 30 Rey Mysterio

    SR Pro Level 30 Cesaro

    SR Pro Level 30 Edge

    Epic Level 35 Cameron

I have level 0 Epic Brie Bella, Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar that I might level up next or after Naomi.

Of course sends after posting this my current KOTR ends and I get Epic Stephanie McMahon. I have goten 5 Epic Diva's now, thankfully I do have a Pro.

  2. Got to my Gold Promotion Series and it was.... well interesting.

Game 1: Jungle Amumu - no chance in this game as all of my lanes just did awful. Our Mid Kayle got demolished by Zed, our top Irelia went 0/7 against Akali, it was a mess. I ended up 6/8/5, bad start.

Game 2: Top Maokai - We had a Ezreal Jungle who was murdering everyone, he was 7/1 in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately our Mid Lux went 0/8 in that same time meaning they had a super fed Syndra and Lee Sin so even super fed Ezreal was no match for them. Lux was literally the worst, two deaths before minions spawned because he was watching TV. I did good in lane and in the end went 9/12/17. Ezreal got 23 kills and the rest of our team got 6. I've never seen someone carry so hard and have someone (Lux) fail so terribly. 0-2...

Game 3: Support Blitzcrank - Went to my favorite champion. Completely won lane (with Lucian) against Ashe and Thresh, including picking up three kills for my AD, topped with a mid Dark Passage Hook to kill Ashe. Our top lane Ryze was basically playing solo the entire game, but every team fight they blew everything on me so my team had an easy time killing them afterwards. 1-2 at least!

Game 4: Support Taric - I thought we were done here. Top lane Mundo went 0/7 to Warwick. We did good bottom despite their jungler camping us. By mid game I had a Face of the Mountain and Locket so team fights were me out sustaining their Fizz and Warwick damage while Corki picked them off. Corki getting caught out actually won us the game as they went full bore on him and with both my shields, and my heal they got horribly positioned and killed.

Game 5: Support Braum - I almost knew things would go terribly here, but instead I had their ADC completely zoned for most of the lane, including getting first blood. Starting roaming to help mid while our Jungle covered top. By mid game our front line of me, Jarvan and Volibear was too much for their complete lack of tankyness.

    Gold ranked!

  3. So most ridiculous back to back games last night.

Game 1 I was top lane Rammus against Vlad. I got low, and went back to recall. I see Lee Sin's Sonic Wave come in and hit me so I immediatly Defensive Ball Curl, once he jumps on me I flash away, nothing crazy, I just escaped...but Lee Sin drew agro and had no way out and ended up dying entirely to the turrent and my bit of damage from Ball Curl... needless to say we stomped them.

Next game I am support Morgana, but our adc never connects, I ended up 8/3/6 when I built AP. We were up in kills for the entire game and only lost because it was 4v5 and our jungle disconnected 4 times throughout the game.

...why would you top lane Rammus? His main strength (besides his defense) is his speed and ganks. And against Vlad, that's just calling for a bad time.

Top lane Rammus actually works pretty well, even if I was against an AP. I didn't win lane, but I didn't lose it and by mid game I had a ton of utility and tankiness while our Jungle Kha'Zix was killing everything in sight.

  5. Pretty sure this game is trolling me...

My first UR card was Cesaro, so I maxed him out and got to UR KOTR level so I could hope to get a pair. Finally win one and I get...2 UR Cesaro's.....

End up just below Epic tier with a maxed UR Pro Cesaro, UR Rey and SR Pro Edge and Cesaro with SR Eva Maria. Get the SR Paige, about 100 games from the other one so I power through games, saving my cards to immediately max the 2nd Paige, combine them, and move up to Epic Tier and get EPIC Cameron to immediatley replace Paige...

Now I'm just under Epic tier for KOTR and decide to level up a UR Rock since my team was maxed. End up getting a 2nd Rock from a normal game, KOTR ends and I get a 3rd UR Rock....

Now I'm like 7 games away from KOTR finals for EPIC and I'm in 8th place (2 games up on 9th)...so hopefully I get another decent Epic to add to my team.

EDIT: So ya, game hates me. Ended up in the semi finals and got an Epic Naomi, which means both my epic's are divas.... at least I got an UR Chair with the deal.

  6. I think this game hates me.

Got a 2nd SR Cesaro and Vince, so I maxed them, combined them and now have 2 massive powerhouses to go with my maxed Pro R Big E and maxed SR Eva.

Then the next two SR I got were a 3rd Cesaro and 3rd Vince... I also made it to UR Tier and drew yet another Cesaro...

    So my team is now

    Maxed R Pro Big E

    Pro SR Cesaro (Level 19)

    Pro SR VInce (Level 19)

    UR Cesaro (Level 19)

    Maxed SR Eva Marie

    I'm like 920-93.

  7. Recently got into this.

I combined to Level 20 Rare Big E's to create a monster. He far outclasses my level 25 Super Rares at the moment.

    Current Team

Rare Pro Big E (Level 25)

    Rare Bray Wyatt (Level 20)

    SR Vince (Level 16)

    Rare Pro Kofi (Level 22)

    SR Eva Mara (Level 22)

Kofi is being replaced soon since i didn't know about the max level Pro's until after, but he was useful for a long time. Bray I'm hoping get another and combine, but he also may be benched for a while as I have SR Cesaro and Del Rio to level up now. Bray is just good because he can team with Vince and Kofi as needed. Eva was my first SR and has maybe lost 3 times out of 300 games, I just dont see the point in maxing her out right now when my other cards need the EXP more.

I find it hilarious that Big E has 60 Power and 50 Toughness over everyone else on my roster.

So Player Uno just sent me his roster, and...well I think it needs to be shared

Epic Erick Rowan (Level 30/35) 381-381-336-403

SR Pro Brock Lesnar (Max Level) 317-288-266-277

UR Pro Andre (Not Maxed yet) 374-409-316-388

SR Bray Wyatt (Max Level) 313-295-277-313

UR AJ Lee (Max Level) 203-208-236-241

    That team is terrifying.

  8. I didn't see a whole lot this year apparently...

    1) The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
    2) Star Trek: Into Darkness

    3) The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

    4) Iron Man 3

    5) The Lone Ranger (I loved this, shut up)

    6) Thor 2
    7) Anchorman 2
    8) Despicable Me 2

    9) The Last Stand
    10) The Wolverine

  9. I've been checking on the twitch stream and I think the whole thing is hilarious. I have no interest in watching it, just hearing about all the hilarious stuff that happens. As much as I hope they can actually beat it, there is pretty much no chance that will ever happen. There is no way they are going to be able navigate the Safari Zone to get Surf and Strength. The amount of tries it gets to get past a simple ledge is staggering, being able to get through there with limit steps will never happen, and they will run out of money trying, then they are pretty much screwed.

But if they do somehow get through that, Victory Road will be wonerful to see how long it takes. Stength puzzles that require leaving the room to reset and if they have to heal they have another ledge to get past every time.

  10. After watching Evolve 25 and seeing the FIP title defended in the opener I think we should add the WWN (World Wrestling Network)

This contains DGUSA, Evolve, Shine, and FIP. It just seems silly to have FIP separate when they are in the network.

So Changing the DG-EVO the WWN (Full name World Wrestling Network) and add all FIP superstars.

also looking over all the roster pages I can see if a brand split can be worked. The way it seems set up is DGUSA is the top of the food chain, then Evolve, FIP, and then Shine

If we need a new promotion I still think Beyond Wrestling is the best choice. While they do have an agreement with CZW they are there own entity running events like Tournament for Tomorrow and Feeding Frenzy. I will help out with a roster if need be

Wanted to comment real quick on this...

If we wanted to, FIP could be merged with DG-EVO without any issues of workers running out of promotions, at least that I saw after a quick analysis. The same cannot be said for Shine. That's one of the reasons that Shine and Shimmer were merged to begin with, so that it would free up a promotion slot for some workers that otherwise would have to be removed from a promotion.

So, if we are wanting to do this, I'd say, let's merge DG-EVO and FIP as three brand splits for WWN and leave Shine with Shimmer, at least for the time being. Shimmer/Shine's roster needs some work done anyway, so once that's done, we could re-evaluate how many workers would be affected by moving Shine to WWN, or leaving them with Shimmer.

TL/DR; If we're gonna do it, let's focus on moving FIP first and hold off a bit on Shine.

As for promotion additions/removals, there's a few in the data that I've been eyeing for removal that could free up a couple slots for new promotions to be added. Since I brought it up, here's the one's I have contemplated putting up for removal:

APW: Honestly, this promotion has always been a headache for me. Info seems to be hard to come by (at least for me) and is usually extremely outdated. With their owner, Roland Alexander, passing away a couple months back, I'm not even sure who is in charge of APW and their website seems to have gone away as well.

LLUSA: The last time their Facebook page was even updated was October. I'd be willing to bet that, even if they do still run, the ingame roster is horribly out of date. They have a website, but who knows when that was last updated?

SCW: The "other" Squared Circle Wrestling. I like it because it's the only regional promotion in the game that is based in Canada, but someone mentioned a couple months back that it needs a "massive overhaul." A quick glance at their website, it looks like they still run, but the ingame roster is horribly off and many workers on their roster aren't even in the game. My suggestion would be to remove it, add the needed workers (if anyone has stats for them) and rebuild it from scratch when we can make it more accurate.

Thoughts, suggestions and opinions, as always, are welcome.

    -Bill

I don't know if Squared Circle is really the best choice since its roster is rather small and mostly contains people that are highly active in other promotions and students of their training centre.

In the area the most active promotions are Alpha 1, Smash, Battle war and C*4. C*4 contains pretty much the entire upper roster of all three other promotions combined. I can give a full suggestion when I am able as to who is in game and would need to be in it and who would need to be added.

Outside of that I think AIW has the biggest claim to being added since they have become one of the bigger promotions lately.

  11. I didn't vote, but two of those three would have been in my top three (Breaking Bad at 1, and Walking Dead at 2). I can see where people aren't into the Walking Dead, it is fucking silly, but I've always been a fan of the living dead, going back to when my dad got me the original Dawn of the Dead when I was 11 or 12. Part of it is also that I don't watch a lot of TV.

Breaking Bad is the best show I have ever seen. Nothing even comes close, it was brilliant, no other show could get my adrenaline going in anticipation of what would happen next. It made me say "Holy shit" out loud quite often. It was fucking great.

I want to start Game of Thrones from the beginning, my wife has been watching season 2 via netflix and I watched a few episodes, and it seems like a really great show. I think I'd like to read the books, then start the show from the beginning.

VP, as someone who started reading the books after watching the first season, I'd recommend watching the TV show first before reading the books. It makes the TV show much, much better.

I somewhat agree with this, maybe not all of Season 1, but a few episodes so you get an idea who the characters are and have a face to put to them since there are so many. The book and show go so well together, so it is really up to you which you want to do first, the obvious advantage of the books is you have twice as much of the story you can tackle now.

  12. Chuck Season 3:

Chuck's mind is going haywire with The Intersect 2.0 in the final arc, he needs The Governor watch to make The Intersect 2.0 work appropriately and keep his mind right, but he's able to function and fight off Shaw all because he downloaded an early Intersect prototype into his head as a kid? For a show that was witty and excellent, I felt let down there.

Chuck kind of went downhill pretty fast and made less and less sense as it went on.

What the hell was on the Island at the end of Deep Rising?

  13. In all seriousness, the Indiana Jones one has been around for a while. I'd say it is pretty accurate.

    Back to the Future

In Back to the Future, Doc sends Einstein into the future by one minute. The Delorean disappears for that entire minute. We can then conclude that in this universe if you travel forward in time you cease to exist until you re-emerge.

In Back to the Future 2, Old Biff gives Young Biff the sports magazine. When Marty and Doc returns to the future, Biff is now super rich and controls everything. From this we conclude that in this universe time travel occurs on one timeline and anything you do in the past automatically changes the future you are travelling to.

So, when Marty and Jennifer get into the Delorean and travel to the future with Doc in Back to the Future 2, they CEASE TO EXIST on the timeline until the re-emerge in the future. Yet, not only has nothing changed, they actually run into themselves! By the logic already put forward, they would re-emerge in the future with no record of themselves since they disappeared. And definitely no kids.

And one more thing. If the past changes the future, there is no reason to go into the future to stop bad things from happening. Either the stop it from happening, go back in time and live their life as usual were the kid still gets himself in trouble, or if Marty simply knowing this was going to happen is enough to stop it from happening again, simply tell him and return to the future to find that it doesn't happen!

Time Travel is just a very difficult concept to work around I think. I honestly think Harry Potter is the one of the only movie/story to get it right. Since in the "current" time their future selves are interfering, so they have no chance of altering the timeline since what they do when they travel is already set in stone. Of course it brings up the question as to why they only do it once in the entire story. Time Spillters: Future Perfect treats time travel the same way and that game is great.

  14. Well the point of this is to discuss such things.

I still think Ra's Al Ghul needed to conduct some sort of interview first.

And yes, Indy didn't know. But it remains that the outcome of the movie would have been the same with or without his involvement.

You have to keep in mind that before Ra's Al Ghul started teaching Bruce, he was ready to murder. It was only after Ra's talked about becoming a symbol, etc. that he realized killing wasn't the answer. If he had tested him right away, he probably would have just killed the dude.

I never caught on to that, and it makes way more sense than Ra's Al Ghul being the worst recruiter ever.

    As for The Usual Suspects...

Verbal Kint as a known person, so people seeing him didn't matter, since nobody knew he was Keyser Soze. I'm pretty sure he didn't know someone was alive and giving a description either (could be wrong). But the main thing to me was whe the cop said "I'm smarter than you", Kint decided he had to show him up and gave him that bullshit story. It was more of an ego thing than a bad plan.

  15. Indian Jones

"So, what do you make of what they did to you in Crystal Skull?"

    "crying-indian1.jpg"

Yay typos...althoght it brings up a good plothole. Why did they cast an Italian to play the famous crying Indian? Could they not get an actual one?

    I also forgot

    The Dark Knight

Gordon fakes his death, then sets up a trap for the Joker that consists of driving Harvey Dent into an ambush. Batman arrives and fights off everyone, Joker get the upperhand and Gordon reveals he is not dead by holding a gun to the Joker. Why did he have to be dead for this? Literally anybody other cop could have taken his place and pointed a gun at him.

  16. Just wondering what are some of movies biggest plotholes or other small details that annoy you. Please feel free to point out if you think some of these are not plotholes and actually make some sort of sense that I am missing.

    For me.

    1) Batman Begins

    - Liam Neeson turns Bruce Wayne into super ninja and destroyer of Gotham, but Bruce refuses to do the final test of killing someone. The whole point of his training was to kill an entire city, shoudln't he have checked to make sure Bruce was okay with doing this first?

    2) The Mummy

Why in the hell did the preists decide to "curse" Imotep with the ability to be ressurected, bring back his dead girlfriend and destroy the world? That's literally like being "Hitler was terrible, lets bring him back as a 20 foot killbot as punishment!"

    3) Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

Take Indy out of the movie and The Nazi's still find the Arc, open it, and die. He literally has no impact on the story.

  17. If the data is as of November 2013, I don't get why people are so hesitant to delete people that haven't wrestled in years. An indy wrestlers that hasn't be active in many years is super unlikely to return, if they do return, it's even less likely that they would do anything of note to worth being reentered into the data.

Further more, the argument that some people might like to use them is kind of weak since there are literally thousands of options. Complaining that you cannot use The Hardcore Ninjaz in a 2013 mod is silly since they haven't been active wrestlers in years and they are probably going off of the name/stats alone. There is guarantee to be someone with similar stats and changing a name isn't hard.
