  1. Just finished going through the game on co-op with my brother and I have to say it is a great game. Don't see what the problem with the Arbitor missions are, I think it was kinda cool to play as him and in the context of the storyline, it was very necessary. Overall, I thought it was very enjoyable and I've not even had a multiplayer match yet! My eyes are seriously hurting though after playing for a few hours on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and today. I will say it was a little short though, but then again, that's how they leave you wanting more... bastards.
  2. As far as I can see there's only a few things missing from the game as far as licencing and stuff goes, and they are all fixable with the update that Gooner4Life posted. I don't see what the problem is then...?
  3. Apparantly he was fit and healthy up until he put his left leg in the coffin and then it went downhill from there... What?
  4. Hard to say, since CM5 has been delayed until next year and there is no sign of a demo. However, I'd say that FM will kick it's ass anyway (as it is the actual sequel to CM 03/04 as opposed to a whole new game) and would recommend you go for that. Maybe try the FM demo first to see what you think: http://www.sigames.com
  5. As has already been said, all 3 systems have their pros and cons; their good games and their bad games, and that will always be the case. Personally, I have an Xbox and I don't really have the money to go buying a PS2 and/or a GameCube. IMHO, I think the Xbox has a better lineup of games than the PS2, with there being plenty of Xbox exclusives (Halo/2, Project Gotham, Ninja Gaiden, and not a lot of PS2 exclusives - most of the games are out on the Xbox too with the exception of GTA and some other stuff. And with the multi-format games, 99% of the time you'll get a better game on the Xbox, whether it be graphics or whatever. I also find the PS2 controller too small and some of the buttons in awkward places (the shoulder buttons are a pain to reach in my opinion). But the PS2 is the man in the street's console of choice, and will undoubtedly stay that way until the next generation is upon us. But as I say, you'll always get people who like and dislike each console, it's really down to personal preference for whatever reason.
  6. 1 week today! Woo! Shame I won't actually have any spare time to play it until about Christmas Day, but still - woo!
  7. Thankfully I've managed to fill in all my friends who play CM on the SI/Eidos split and FM and whatnot. I must've told that story about 10 times, but it was worth it. And YI, if your friend actually gets CM5 and then finds all the attributes are out of 100 instead of 20, surely he'll figure something's up by then? That's after you've been playing FM for 4 months and he's been blindly hangin on for CM. Idiot. And Thomas, yeah, CM5 won't be out before Xmas, probably around March 2005. Personally, I wouldn't bother waiting.
  8. Sorry to say that no WWE DVDs are in the sale, but there's a lot of stuff that's reduced quite a bit, the highlight of which is the Alien Quadrilogy 9-DVD set, previously £70, which will be selling for £29.99.
  9. Just to let all UK WWE fans know that from Thursday, both No Way Out 2004 and Wrestlemania XX on VHS will be reduced to £5.99. Not sure about DVDs at the moment, didn't get a chance to have a look at that list, but I'll post up when I find anything out. I'm pretty sure this offer covers all of the UK.
