  1. TOP 5 (probably): 1. Green Day - American Idiot 2. Kanye West - College Dropout 3. Snow Patrol - Final Straw 4. Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News 5. Madvillain (MF Doom as Viktor Vaughan the Vaudeville Villain and Madlib)- Madvillainy Close but no cigar: Nas - Street's Disciple Xzibit - Weapons of Mass Destruction Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue PJ Harvey - Uh Huh Her Alanis Morisette - So-Called Chaos Albums I hope to/should have by the end of the year: Graham Coxon - Happiness in Magazines Jimmy Eat World - Futures The Killers - Hot Fuss Dresden Dolls - Dresden Dolls Camera Obscura - Underachievers Please Try Harder Bjork - Medulla The Go! Team - Thunder, Lightning, Strike And from what I've heard of them, they might displace a couple of those.
  2. I'm not familiar with the graphic novels, but that looked dope.
  3. 'Power In Numbers' is quite a different sound to their previous albums. It's good, but I definitely prefer their self titled album and 'Quality Control'. Chali 2Na runs the show, though. Yo.
  4. Any idea why my screen keeps going white when I try to look around?
  5. De La Soul - Rock Co.Kane Flow feat. MF Doom Onyx - Slam; Slam Harder Nas - Disciple (get the original version with the Billy Joel sample) Royce da 5'9" - Boom; Buzz Young Buck - Stomp ft. Ludacris, T.I. Game - Westside Story ft. 50 Cent (50 sounds better on the hook than Snoop) Fatman Scoop - Be Faithful
  6. Hard drive based mp3 players rock. Once you've got one, you won't be able to live without it.
  7. Why is it that nobody objects to actors performing other peoples work, but criticise musicians for not writing their own songs? Is there a major difference that I'm missing?
  8. The font's called "Christmas on Crack", which is why I chose it. That, and I couldn't find one that looked good.
  9. I would change my choice to Xzibit - Weapons of Mass Destruction cause I quite like that, but Street's Disciple has suddenly grown on me. Might actually spend some hard earn...some cash on it.
  10. Out of 3362 songs: Futureheads - Remote Control Kingtide - Song In Reverse Sam Cooke - You Send Me The Descendents - Cool To Be You Broken Social Scene - Cause = Time Epik - Eye 4 An Eye Modest Mouse - Float On Joni Mitchell - All I Want Franz Ferdinand - Jacqueline The Doves - Firesuite Very unrepresentative. Not sure how random the Shuffle Repeat function on my mp3 player is.
  11. I PUT THE SCREW IN THE TUNA! Kenan and Kel was awesome.
  12. Concept album? 50 Cent? It'll be better than Eminem's album, because...well it couldn't be worse.
  13. If American Idiot doesn't count then Nas - Street's Disciple, not that I liked it that much.
  14. I used a Patriot to chase down the ambulances in one of the Rosie missions. It was just parked outside the hospital.
  15. I'd take Infinite, SSLP or MMLP over The Eminem Show. Now that I've heard Encore, The Eminem Show seems a lot better, but it's still weaker than his first three. Lyrically it was OK; a little sloppy in places, and the humour was hit-and-miss. TES contained early examples of his current, incredibly lazy flow which he seems to have adopted since 50 came into the picture. Production-wise I really didn't like it. 'Til I Collapse was the only beat I really liked, and on songs like Square Dance and Business I thought it was really quite bad. Encore has better production, but the other areas have gone downhill since The Eminem Show. I'd rank Encore below Devil's Night, and only just above D12 World.
