  1. Cyborg makes her UFC debut against Leslie Smith at UFC 198, 140 catchweight bout.
  2. Just been EA'd for my first CPU loss of the season against the most overpowered team I've played so far in the Browns. 21-7 up, couldn't be more comfortable. Suddenly I get intercepted, Bryant then fumbles for the first time in two seasons, Bryant then get's injured, Browns then convert about 10 3rd and longs and their RB breaks through four tackles to run 83 yards for a TD. Everything that could go against me did go against me. I don't mind losing but this was one of those ones where you just can't believe what you've just seen.
  3. Beat the Ravens something like 35-16. Another one that wasn't really close. I threw two needless interceptions in the final 2 minutes while trying to push for extra points. Another week that I couldn't get the running game going properly with Bell, it feels like the CPU doesn't want me to break that yardage record, about 85 yards for Bell in this one. Only need 3 more TD's to equal the TD record for a RB in one season though which I'm confident I can get.
  4. 39-10 against the Chiefs. Despite the score it wasn't an entertaining one. They ran down a good chunk of the clock throughout without doing much. Forced two fumbles which obviously helped. Bell finished with 2 TD's and around 130 yards but it still didn't feel like I could get going with him much in this one. 10-2, despite the good record though was always going to have to settle for a wild card spot behind DYS.
  5. Destroyed the Dolphins 56-19. They came out like a house on fire but once I came back they completely crumbled, managed to force two fumbles and from there they just couldn't recover. Bell rushed for 5 TD's, feel a bit gutted as I was on to break the record with 40 seconds to go trying to march up the field but threw an interception because of that, no record today
  6. I'd stick with it and keep going at it mate. I felt pretty similar throughout parts of last season in all honesty, I just wasn't having fun for the most part but in all honesty I think it was more down to myself playing the wrong way. I wasn't making enough of the right plays and I was easily letting the game frustrate myself, which ultimately makes you play even worst. I just managed to click a bit more this season, started finding a system for my team that works and am just having much more fun. Don't get me wrong, it can still be frustrating at times but nowhere near as much as it was last season.
  7. Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin sitting on the bench while Fellaini starts the game alongside Carrick. It's all a bit bizarre really at this stage
  8. 25-14 against the Eagles, wasn't really even a close one despite a nervous finish. 19-0 up during the 3rd and the Eagles hadn't done anything, about 24 yards offense and I was on for my most comfortable victory ever. Out of the blue I get intercepted, which they turn into a TD and then the exact same happens again when I get the ball back. It's like they hulked up out of nowhere. 19-14 in the 4th but thankfully managed to seal the game right at the end. Not sure if it was an off day for them or they're just awful (probably the latter ), ridiculously comfortable game outside of the two mistakes I made.
  9. Scratch that, managed to get myself up to play it and ended up winning 41-28 against the Giants. Thought I was going to get well and truly EA'd for a moment, the Giants came out unbelievable and just kept making big passing plays. When I did get a decent two score lead it decided to start giving me plenty of random CPU made penalties. Thankfully saw it out to win though, 7-2 now.
  10. I've got a tooth infection which is pretty bad right now so feel free to advance once ADG has played his game. Was looking forward to dismantling the Giants
  11. Beat the Cowboys 7-29 to move to 6-2. Gave away two silly interceptions when I had the game sealed going for more points rather than running the clock down. Game could have gone very differently as they were tearing me up at the start with their passing offense. I managed to make them fumble the ball on my own goal line to prevent a TD and then made a pick in my end zone to prevent another TD and returned that for my own TD. Dez Bryant was ridiculous, although once I started targeting him I managed to shut them down much more. Bye week for me next week.
  12. Got right back on track with a storming 53-17 victory against the Patriots.
  13. No worries at all, not your fault that you're a good player and I'm average (to put it nicely ). The games will probably be more fun for you too if it's against the CPU, at least it'll be a bit more of a challenge. I'll play any if we come up against each other in the playoffs. And yeah, had horrible lag my end too, was effecting the kick bar and quite a few plays. I should have used it as an excuse for getting trounced!
  14. Still going but he was up 30-0 at one around the half. I threw about 5 interceptions, currently 30-6 in the 4th. DYS has probably eased up quite a bit, could have been much more I'd imagine if he wanted. Just completely shut my rushing down and can barely stop him when he's in attack, makes me look like a right novice
  15. Think I'll make this the last one I play against you mate, the skill level difference is just too high that it's not even enjoyable games for me, probably better off taking a chance on the CPU beating you unless it's a playoff game. I've played terrible both times but I think even at my best you'd comfortably beat me man.
  16. @Lenny DYSItra on for the next two hours or so if you're about.
  17. Things can obviously change but Dana has basically confirmed Rousey will fight Tate for the title. The build will be fantastic and it'll do great business.
  18. Shakes it up if Ronda wasn't returning. All depends on if they go with Holm/Rousey II or if they give Rousey the title shot straight off of the bat. Don't see Rousey/Tate 3 being any different to the other two if it happens. Very open division without Ronda in there though.
  19. Anytime tomorrow is good for me DYS if you're around.
  20. Doubt I'll be around tomorrow but I'll let you know if that changes. Saturday or Sunday likely the best bet, I'll hit you up when I know.
  21. Still giving up more points than I'd like but beat the Ravens 24-41 to go to 4-1, Bryant the beast this week with two TD's. Edit: The bad news is I play DYS next week again, 4-2 coming up
  22. Beat the Browns 24-21. Up 24-6 early in the 3rd and then it tried to do a classic EA Sports on me. Players started playing awful and the Browns almost rallied. Managed to just hold on but was ridiculously close in the end. Bell was ridiculous in this one, rushed for over 200 yards. 3-1. Slightly worried that my OVR is down to 80, feel like I've done something wrong since we started to drop my overall that much (it made it look even worst when I see the Browns at 88OVR!).
  23. I ended up getting destroyed, something like 36-7 or something, was a real mess from me. I made a simple mistake which resulted in an INT and from there on I lost my head a bit and couldn't recover. Ended up with about another 4 interceptions which is a recipe for disaster when playing DYS.
  24. Can try fit it in now before the football starts, I'm on so invite me if you can.
  25. @Lenny DYSItra you around soon mate? Can do our game anytime in the next 2 and a half hours.
