Fourth after qualifying eleventh in the public game. Just missed out on third too, with a safety car going for ages right at the end. Guy in first must be annoyed, he was out in front by about 30 seconds before the safety car and then got overtaken in the five laps that was left after it. Vector also did pretty well getting 8th after qualifying last.

I'll take second. It was a weird race, was in last when it started raining after I pitted to change tyres.

Woo, first win of the season. Overtaken on the first lap again Slogger Also got 4th in the public game, was battling for first when I made a mistake and had to pit which screwed up my strategy, could've easily got on the podium considering I was only .1 of a second behind third.

In my Spurs game, Everton (with my position in brackets, as it appears they're pretty much imitating my form >_>) have finished 13th (12th), 8th (9th), 12th (11th) and are currently 4th after 25 games (I'm 5th). Now that's pretty spooky.

Man, the public game just got that more serious. We now have 9 ranked people (you have to have raced at least 35 races in a public comp to get a rank) and five of them are instructors. Looks like it'll be up to me, Vector and "Joe Smith" to challenge them. Edit: Add another one to the list, but I be kicking all their asses in warm-up >_>

So for Spurs, "Vedran Corluka is cup-tied like Pavlyuchenko, while Alan Hutton (foot), Jermaine Jenas (calf), Jonathan Woodgate (back), Ledley King (knee) and Giovani dos Santos (ankle) are out". Bent also has tonsillitis, so Campbell up front on his own. And I don't think Rocha can play as I don't think Ramos had him in the 25 man squad for the Cup. So we really only have one centre back in Dawson, so I'm expecting something like: Campbell Modric Lennon O'Hara Huddlestone Bentley BAE Dawson Zokora Gunter With Cesar, Bale, Dervite, Smith, Bostock, Parrett and Obika on the bench. Gilberto might get a spot as well, actually. Is Bale fit?

Wes Brown -> Tottenham? I'm using the logic that with Rafael now starting and Neville behind him, Brown might be wanting out, and Spurs need a new centre/right back as Hutton and possibly Woodgate (along with King only being able to really play once a week) are injured for long periods of time. Unless 'Arry wants to give Gunter an extended stint in the first team, which I'd be all for, as Gunter is great.

Man, the Melbourne race in the public game was immense. Starting from third I have a horrible start and go back to 8th, next lap I get passed, and then a few laps later I collide with the dude in front and drop back to 13th. No damage is done so I steadily climb my way back through the field being on a one stop strategy and get all the way to first before having to pit, where I drop back to third. Then I have Vector trying to overtake for about half a dozen laps but he can't do it, then he pits. Then I overtake second after a fight for a few laps, as his tyres were screwed. I go about to trying to catch up to first when my exhaust has troubles, but I decide to keep limp home instead of pitting in. So then third starts to catch up to me pretty quickly and probably would have overtaken me if it wasn't for us crossing the finish line. Phew. Three seconds so far
