  1. The above post is the most truthful post ever.
  2. *wipes tear* Sensible World of Soccer made this list, and it was not only 50...but 46th. *wipes tear* Some people here have taste...
  3. King Quest VI and III were the best when you played as Alexander. I remember playing III on the Amiga...when Mananamann (whatever his name was - Roberta always seemed to be obsessed with those names in KQIII....) the wizard turned up and killed you it was so damn scary...
  4. If they do get made, why does everyone assume them to be shit? Okay, the two prequels were more on special effects instead of some decent characters and the biggest rip-off hype of a character (Darth Maul) ever. Hayden Christianson or whatever his name is can't act to save his life...and the fact that we know what's going to happen... Perhaps with new movies set with new or interesting characters that we can actually care about and make them the focus rather than pushing the boundaries of special effects. The things about the old movies is that the characters of Luke, Han, Leia and Darth Vader were so cool. The first time we see Darth Vader is a moment you remember. The 'I am your father' is possibly one of cinema's best moments...why? The characters...they really drove and hammered home the story. What do we have in the first two? Mesa Jar Jar Binks. Mesa smarter than people as theysa thick enough to makesa mesa in chargesa! Anakin which is unbelievable and Obi Wan (the one thing good about the films) quoting such shit lines as 'You'll be the death of me...' We need interesting characters...and C-3PO and R2-D2.
  5. I've tried making a game for The Reality-On-The-Norm but haven't had the time. I used the Adventure Game Studio - it's bloody class. Also - try http://www.scummvm.org - it has a download to (supposedly) play the old DOS games on XP...BUT it has BENEATH A STEEL SKY AND FLIGHT OF THE AMAZON QUEEN FOR FREE! I think Lure of The Tempress is there as well. It's been advertised on The Official Revolution Website. I have BASS already...I had FOTAQ on the Amiga...oh I loved that game. 'Aren't Gorilla's in Africa? This is South America!' 'Oh...' *Gorilla vanishes.*
  6. Aladdin and The Lion King. But most of all: The Toy Story films.
  7. Which Goblins Game? 1,2 or 3? Oh anyone play the tough and solid Universe? It was bloody difficult. Oh - I just remembered: Simon the Sorcerer I and II. (3D sucked bad.)
  8. I love Apple Shampoo. I'm a HUGE fan of these type of games. For any Point and Click adventure, you need to look at one things. Is it made by Lucas Arts? If that's a yes then it's a good game. Then you've got your Revolution games, Beneath a Steel Sky and then the Broken Sword games. Then you have the biggest flop in Point and Click games. Toonstruck. It took $9 million to make and didn't get there. Good game...but it was just that it didn't live up to the hype. Shame, Christopher Lloyd was class. Oh - a shout out to The Roberta Williams games. I have the anthology. 14 old games, point and click and text adventures. Shout out for the Colonel's Bequest with Laura Bow...where events happen around the gamer - and people start to vanish if you don't find the body and who is killing everyone. It's scary as fuck as well. The music is just creepy. And oh course - The Monkey Island games rule this genre... Murray the Demonic Skull = Best Character Ever. About Willy Beamish = it's okay, it's just that one part of the game requires you to sneak up to an old woman or something, and if your computer is fast you'll never do it. You really need an old computer for it to work...
  9. And that track Tristy mentioned lead to the brilliant 'Can-I-Bitch' by Eminem.
  10. To Kill A Mockingbird. Utter brilliance.
  11. It does get a bit...sick at times, but the perfect way to parody was how it kept playing on Flint being Brock's father...if you saw the episode you'd find it funny.
  12. King Kong (1933) 9.5/10 It's old...but my god what an achievement back then. Sure the characters are a bit bleh ("I guess I love you...") ...but there are some amazing moments. Half way through the film there's action scene after action scene...stopping for a moment...and then the finale in New York with the planes...it's the first time I saw this...and I was impressed to say the least. Some of the effects are more believable than some of the crap CGI that some movies are churning out nowadays... First Blood: (9/10) Okay I wasn't expecting this from what I heard from the Rambo films...it was different to normal action thrillers...there was a at least one death and it sort of was a twist on slasher horror sort of things with one killer...it's hard to explain this film...It was just...different...
  13. This calls for the emergency kit. Cheeky Girls and Steps CDs. Play them loud. Good luck...
  14. Um...can anyone explain the Moonwalker film for me? Because that has to have had the worst ending of any film...ever. (Turning into a robot and then a space ship...what the heck?)
  15. The only half decent Avril track is Complicated...and that's 'half decent'. Anything by: The Streets and Goldie Looking Chain...

  17. Don't forget the most important one: Windows 98 sucks!
  18. I also thought it was Ash Ketchum from the title... Actually... Freddy vs. Jason vs. Pikachu... *runs to a film studio...*

Lol - you have to love Chris for marking a spoiler and then having it in his signature... I nearly cried as well.
  20. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut is probably one of the smartest and cleverest movies ever. Taking the piss out of everything yet having a strong message.

    2004 Olympics

Amir Kahn was against a Bulgarian...wasn't he? Anyway - he's 17. SEVEN-BLOODY-TEEN. I can't believe it. That guy was the European Lightweight Champion. I'm just shocked...
  22. In reverse order... 10. Brittas Empire. Chriss Barrie > *. 9. Family Guy. Best animation series ever. 8. Coupling. Bloody hysterical stuff. 7. Red Dwarf. It's cold outside...there's no kind of atmosphere... 6. Farscape. High quality entertainment and much more imaginative that Trek. 5. 24. Suspenseful stuff that gives you heart attacks. 4. Angel. Nuff said. Overtook the quality of it's parent show - but never was as good as Buffy's first three seasons... 3. American Gothic. Okay, one season - but 22 of the most consistent high quality and shocking episodes ever. Original and involving. DVD must be released...NOW! 2. Quantum Leap. Bloody good stuff - this show is just fantastic. And finally... 1. Buffy The Vampire Slayer. One of the most influential shows ever, not just in TV - but in fan fiction and the whole concept of fan community...
