Anyone read the book 'The Alchemist'? Thoughts/Opinions on it?

It is very obvious and naive. It's the kind of book that people tell you to read when you're going through some shit, but its message is not really practical. Writing is boring but the book is short.

Eh, I read it for thr IB program in 11th grade. It was ok, but nothing that I'd read for pleasure.
