I just made this because I had a sudden inspiration to make something based on different levels of height. I'm not sure whether I prefer the one with added abstract shite to fill up the room: Or the cropped version Either way - what do you think?

It also needs to be able to run on a slightly shitty computer (i.e. decent everything except graphics card) And ideally it should be fun for 2 people, plus bots or whatever. Counterstrike is a team based game, and 1 person on each team isn't much fun.

Ok, so on Sunday I have a computer geek visiting me. They will want to play some LAN games over my network. However, I don't have many. So, I ask everyone here to suggest their favourite multiplayer / online LAN games for me to consider prior to me thrashing this airhead. I have at the moment: Red Alert 2. Unreal Tournament Demo. Clearly this won't last us very long. So... please help.

It's quite good, however you really need to compress it better because 50mb is just too much. What was the song? Also, the mirroring of some clips was slightly annoying. Good job though.

So let me make sure I understand this properly. FM is CM under a new name. FM will be released as an upgrade to the CM engine, and won't be ready until November / December time. CM5 is a new engine built from scratch by a new team. So, how the fuck can CM5 have a September release date, when they have to code an entire game from scratch?

As for that screenshot of the Rumble, it does look quite cluttered, just like the last game did (although this one moreso). However, if it bothers you then just do what I did on the last game and switch the meters off. Then you can see a lot more of the screen.

I'm pretty sure it is. A friend of mine had his standing up, then he looked at his disks and they were all scratched up BADLY. Mine lays down and are all in perfect condition. It scratches the disks because when spinning, the disk jumps if its not laying down flat, due to gravity and the speed of the disk spinning, which causes scratching.

Also, don't leave the PS2 on the floor because it'll get broken by the dust. Plus, don't stand the PS2 vertically because it'll scratch your disks. As for the not dismantling your PS2 warning from syco, that's probably some good advice - especially when you're under warranty. However, when your PS2 has no warranty and you're on the brink of throwing it out / replacing it anyway, you might as well try taking it apart to fix it before you give up on it. What's it going to do, break it? It's already broken!

A friend of mine kept getting the Disk Read Error (DRE). It annoyed him, because his PS2 would only work when it felt like it, not when he felt like it. So he looked into how to fix it online. All he could find of use was that the laser is dirty / fucked. So he followed the instructions to take apart his PS2 and clean the laser. He tried to load a game, but still got a DRE. So he threw it away and bought a new PS2.
