I don't think all the transfers have happened yet, so there won't be an update released until the season has started.

It's inside for sure. I'd guess at it being either the processor or the fan.

When the game is running my computer makes a whirring sound, then stops, then makes it again. It's annoying. It would be so much easier to handle if the whirring was constant or not present at all, but to have it make the noise, then stop, then make it again is driving me nuts. Anyone else have this problem? Is there anything I can do to shut my computer up?

One thing I don't like about the counter system in HCTP - in previous games it was just a simple one button for everything reversal button, which just made you mash the button and hope. The new way (with two buttons for reversing, strike and grapple) IS better, but the thing that really helped me in No Mercy was how that you didn't have to remember which button was which because you could just experiment in the match and the block for a strike would do one animation, and the block of a grapple would be another animation. In Smackdown there's no animation to show this, so if you forget which button counters which situation, you're screwed and have to go read the manual / remember which way around the buttons are. So that's one thing I would improve. I don't care if it isn't realistic for them to put their chest out as an animation to block a strike, it helps me when playing the game, which is all that matters to me.

lol that was pretty funking stupid of you. I played it years ago for about an hour, but it's just too slow and tedious for me. Not much fun. My brother plays it though. He plays it all the time, it's just annoying. Not a paid member though. Waste of money if you ask me but meh.

I don't think we blocked the keeper. He put himself underneath our players while they were jumping for the ball.

When does the next season start?

Ok, you'll have to bear with me here because I know very little about Speedway. Someone I know has been a Speedway fan for years and years, but hasn't ever been to a race because of a disability / unable to get there. I want to organise a surprise trip to a home race of their favourite team - the Eastbourne Eagles. Ideally it would be around the beginning / mid October so it's around the same time as their birthday. It would be ~ worthy if it was exactly on their birthday but whatever. So I looked on the Eastbourne Eagles website and their fixtures are listed up until the end of August, which is well before I want to go. I would ask them (because they would know) but then it'd be a clear give away and ruin the surprise. 1. Is there an off season? And does it happen to fall after August? Through say, October? It seems like it on the website. I hope not. 2. If not, is there a different tournament / whatever happening throughout October? 3. Where can I learn more about fixtures / dates at the Eastbourne track? Does anyone have a list? Are they yet to be decided or will the future fixtures be determined by the races between now and August? Thanks!

I understand what you're saying. England are the worst team ever. Hold on just a second while I go chase that flying pig. England won 3-0. Fact. I don't care if you consider it boring but last time I checked their objective was to win, not to entertain Michael Matzat. Calling them the worst team in the tournament when they just won with a decisive scoreline is ridiculous & just shows your bias. Yeah i admit to being biased towards England, but that's because they're my national team. I could understand you being biased towards Germany. There's no need to be biased AGAINST the teams of other Nations, that's just disrespectful. What's your excuse for being so blatantly against them? Personal grudge? 5-0? Yeah. I went there.

When given the choice between a legend character like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant or Mick Foley and a current WWE wrestler like Ivory, Gail Kim or Funaki; I know which I would rather have as an option in the game.

Michael Matzat, #1 fan of the Smackdown series. I don't have an online PS2, so if the major selling point for Smackdown vs. Raw is the online feature, I won't be buying it.

Dunno, but judging by their quote on the front page they said too much. Presumably they couldn't deliver what they'd promised. Should have kept their mouths shut I guess.

If you've already got a load of PS2 games that you like to play it's best to just replace your PS2. Otherwise save the money for something else and don't buy a games console that will be out of date in a couple of years (if that).

I set my assistant to do it, but either that feature doesn't work, or he's a really really crappy assistant manager. And I didn't know he was up for renewal until I got loads of emails telling me other clubs had offered them a contract. EDIT - Grrr. I (chelsea) just lost to BIRMINGHAM. And I had Zinedine Zidane and Roberto Carlos on my team too. This game is foul and sinister.

It pisses me off when players I want to keep don't get offered contract renewals and a rival buys them. It should be done automatically. It also pisses me off how I can beat Man UTD 4-2 but just four days earlier I lose 3-1 to Leicester. All the little teams that I have never heard of manage to beat me too, but all the decent teams I can usually beat. Weird.

Yeah ok. Here's some pbp. Some guy just killed some chick. Then another guy ran up behind him and killed him. Blood everywhere. Now he's spotted someone else and shot them too. More blood. Now there's the insane chick who just ran in and killed everyone in the bloodiest scene ever. (you can't really give pbp for a film like this)
