Finished the Bruiser Brody book, which was a good read. I'm now three chapters into Upton Sinclair's classic: The Jungle.

I read and finished Meat Market: Inside the Smash-Mouth World of College Football Recruiting a month ago. It's a good read, though not too surprising about how division 1A programs go after recruits. It follows the University of Mississippi program over the course of a year from after signing day 2006 to signing day 2007. I'll spoil the fact that the head coach of the team, Ed Orgeron was fired after the 2007 season after not beating any team in the SEC. I'm currently reading the book about Bruiser Brody, and am enjoying it.

Madden '09 for PS2. Just isn't that much different from Madden '06(the last one I've played). Good thing I only rented it.

I have two players in Goal Line Blitz: a fullback named Kenta Kobashi, and a punter named Syphilis Johnson. Kenta is a level 12 blocking fullback for the Haven City Theafers. We're only 3-7, but our team has an active owner, trying hard to make the team better. I knew by becoming a blocking fullback, I'd have a great chance to start, and have for the majority of our team's plays. Syphilis is a level seven punter for the Kansas City Magicians. It's a cpu owned team, but we're 8-1, thought I only joined the team a couple of games ago. We have three punters on the team, but we all get equal playing time. I was released by my previous team after I was replaced at the position by a guy who was a few levels higher than me. I didn't complain at all about the demotion, though.

Haven't played since Madden '06, so I'll give it a rental to play Superstar mode as DeSean Jackson.

The spoilers you posted are from NGE: Death and Rebirth, and NGE: End of Evangelion, which you will need to purchase to see the other ending to Evangelion. The two movies were made due to the amount of negative fan reaction to the final two episodes. The movies come together in one package. Edit: Death and Rebirth is a synopsis of what happened in the first twenty four episodes, along with new footage.

Completed the firefighter part of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and made it to level 9 of Paramedic before running out of time. I'm at 74% completion, and am on the home stretch.

Appleseed: Ex Machina - 6.5/10 The animation was incredible, as this was released in theaters in Japan, but the story was only average. I saw this at Wondercon on Friday night. The movie doesn't come out on dvd and blu ray until the eleventh of March. Justice League: The New Frontier - 8.0/10 Saw this tonight at Wondercon, and it comes out next week on dvd. There was a lot cut from Cooke's original story, but it was still very enjoyable. If you haven't read the comic book first, watch this, then the comic book.

Commando: Director's Cut A very silly action movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a retired colonel who has to rescue his daughter from a South American dictator he overthrew. I say silly because this film does not take itself seriously. Some great action sequences, and lots of dead bodies. So many great one liners in this film from Arnold. "Don't wake my friend, he's dead tired." "You're a funny man, Sully, I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last." Hey, Sully, remember when I said I would kill you last?... I lied." And of course: "Let off some steam, Bennett!"

Plan to watch this week: Tekkaman Blade dvd volume one, all of guerren laggan and the original Patlabor OVA series.

I started up a new campaign in Blitz: The League. I'm taking the strategy from a guy on gamefaqs about how to properly train guys, and win games. Throw the deep ball on every play, and onside kick after every touchdown. The reason onside kicking works, is that a lineman of the opposing team will usually pick up the ball, and they are the most prone to fumbling. Managed to score 66 points in my first game and 100 in the second. I also went for two after each touchdown.

It's okay, Norro. Not everyone who's an anime fan has watched Evangelion. I'd be more disappointed in you if you had written that you haven't seen Akira.

I've beaten Time Crisis 2 as well. I've also beaten the Royal Rumble portion of WWF Wrestlefest more than once, and Soul Calibur 2. Pretty sure I used Nightmare to beat Soul Calibur 2 with, in maybe 15 minutes.
