  1. Nah, Kimahri's involved chasing blue butterflies in Macalania Woods. I hated that and never finished his weapon, despite powering up all the others.
  2. When Butters said he'd save it for later, I knew something was going to happen. Matt and Trey did not disappoint.
  3. The Raid: Redemption: I loved this movie. There's some great fight choreography and the gore wasn't much of a turn-off. See it if you can. 21 Jump Street There were a few laughs, but otherwise it was a very average film. I read a lot about it being a hilarious comedy, and my expectations were not met at all. I think people went into this movie expecting it to be the worst thing ever, and since it wasn't that bad, they gave it a pass. I should admit that comedies are the toughest sell for me because I go into most expecting not to laugh. The last comedy I saw in theaters that I thought was excellent was Tropic Thunder.
  4. Well, I managed to download it before that happened.
  5. If this thread would have been started last month, I would have said Streets of Rage, but a free remake of the game was just released.
  6. I'm about 80 or so pages into The Boys of Summer by Roger Kahn. It's about Kahn covering the Brooklyn Dodgers in the early 1950's, and reconnecting with the players after they'd retired. I'm enjoying it so far.
  7. Just watched the first episode of the new Mazinkaiser SKL OAV. It's awesome, in spite of the misogyny. It has giant robot action, manly protagonists, and music by LOUDNESS. You can't go wrong with this show.
  8. I've been listening to the deluxe edition of Def Leppard's Pyromania. Still catchy as hell almost 20 years later.
  9. I've got a save for Final Fantasy X where I'm over 240 hours into the game. Leveling characters to godlike state, and playing lots of Blitzball.
  10. I've started watching Space Runaway Ideon, and I'm through episode five. It's good, and different from what you would expect in a giant robot show. Then again, it's not supposed to be your typical giant robot show. I do know about this show's reputation.
  11. Sorry if someone mentioned these already, but I'm eagerly anticipating the new Megadeth and Slayer albums.
  12. I couldn't believe that this video wasn't nominated for anything at the VMA's. Metallica - All Nightmare Long All Nightmare Long Official Video
  13. Well, Disney does own the rights to air some of Marvel's cartoons already. This is just a mind blowing deal, for the dollar amount and more.
  14. For more on Bubblegum Crisis, listen to episode 75 of Anime World Order: Anime World Order Episode 75
  15. I really loved the continuity and relationship to the previous films, as well. This movie was well done, and I hope we do get more.
  16. Terminator: Salvation - I'll give it a 7.5/10. I really don't understand the hate for this film. The references to the previous films were nice. X-Men Origins: Wolverine - If I had to describe this movie in one word, I'd say "rushed." Give it a 4.5/10, though it's not the worst comic book or superhero movie ever made.
  17. I have a really good center that needs a team, if anybody's interested: Crazy Snake
  18. If this came out in the US, it would be enough for me to want to buy a PS3 or XBOX 360. I want this, I want this, I want this.
  19. Metallica's video for "All Nightmare Long" is awesome. Soviet Union using zombies to take over the world. Edit: Here's the link - All Nightmare Long Video
  20. Spoiler: Click here to viewLoved the part where Mickey is flying around spewing fire on people, and the news anchor is so nonchalant about it. I also loved seeing Mickey Mouse be a total greedy prick
  21. I've started to watch the show One Outs. It's a baseball series that's started out a little slow, but it has me interested. It's animated by Mad House so it looks awesome.
  22. I'm close to finishing Brave New World. It's definitely on of those books everybody should read. I've also started reading Bret Hart's autobiography. Halfway through and I'm a little bit annoyed at Bret constantly saying that all of his ideas for matches and finishes worked, even though most of them did. When I'm done with those two, I'm going to read Roger Kahn's The Boys of Summer, which is considered to be one of the greatest baseball books ever written.
