  1. When I was in Las Vegas last week, I went past a few sports books to see what the A's chances of winning the World Series are for this year. New York New York had the A's at 100-1, which I thought was way too high. Cosmo had them at 200-1 odds. That seemed much more reasonable. The rotation stinks, but at least they have Khris Davis around(till the trade deadline) to crush some pitches.
  2. I saw Your Name in a theater back in April, and it blew me away. I still have to see Get Out, but right now Your Name is my favorite movie of the year.
  3. I bought a few games for Black Friday, and the one I've played the most is Mutant Football League. I saw that the first Kickstarter campaign didn't work, but I wasn't aware there was a second. It's Mutant League Football mixed with NFL Blitz. It's good.
  4. That Cal win over WSU was crazy. Justin Wilcox really is doing his best to improve the defense over where it was in the Sonny Dykes years(dead last in the nation). Cal really could win two or three of the next three games to clinch a bowl birth. In a rebuilding year.
  5. Cal held with USC until that bad fourth quarter, but the defense in general looks much better this year than the last five or so. I think they can beat Arizona and Oregon State, but that will be it for this year. Five wins would still be ahead of my own expectations for the team.
  6. Cal's win over North Carolina wasn't supposed to happen, but I'll gladly take it. This means that Cal should end up as a 4-8 team this year.
  7. It's in a box with my other old consoles(Genesis, PS1, PS2 slim). I think the games I played the most on it were Power Pros 2008 and one of the Pro Evolution Soccer games.
  8. X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills is a stand alone story. It was released as a one shot graphic novel. I'd like to recommend Weapon X by Barry Windsor-Smith as something you all should purchase and read. It's the story of Wolverine receiving his adamantium skeleton, and Smith does a wonderful job writing, penciling, inking, and even lettering the volume.
  9. Yes, I made it in before the deadline. After Careful consideration, Kawada's Ganzo Bombs selects Miguel Cabrera. @Mad Jack is on the clock.
