  1. Is that the secret to your A-League dynasty? But that's completely fair and very true. You're definitely better off with two Top 15 players. I was trying to get at is that it doesn't really help during the later rounds though. But I guess it also depends on how strong of a drafter you are. If you're good enough you should be able to make it work at any draft position. At least that's what I believe.
  2. I personally feel like 12th & 13th are great for Rounds 1 & 2. But after that, it doesn't help too much. Added with the fact of what HC said, there are question marks everywhere. I'd rather be on the higher end of Round 1 so I can get a rock-solid player, and then maybe take some gambles later on.
  3. Fun fact, I was in the inaugural B-League season in 2011 as Cruz Control and took 3rd. So I'm technically a tenured member too. 1st to 5th isn't bad. I can deal with that. I'm pretty sure I've picked in the middle of the pack the last 2 seasons anyway. If Ewing knows who he wants to take 1st, does he have to wait until Monday or can he just go ahead and make his pick?
  4. Nah, he introduced me 2nd but I was 1st on the random.org list. But it's okay. I'd rather have the draft order done by an impartial person rather than someone being able to call collusion. Now watch... I'll go from 1st to 12th.
  5. I've retired The (New Jersey) Generals as my EWBFF team name. Due to the fact that I don't want to be associated with anything Donald Trump. As a tribute to The League, I'm now the unoriginal & uncreative Password Is Taco.
  6. Yes! So this will be the year that I beat HC for the crown.
  7. As a Jets fan... I personally think they didn't offer Fitz the money he wants because (besides the facts that all of you have said, which are all valid) they wanted to keep enough money open to sign Wilkerson. If they signed Fitz for what he wanted, they probably wouldn't have had enough money to give Wilkerson the contract he deserved. Basically, who has the most upside in the future, Muhammed Wilkerson or Ryan Fitzpatrick? I also think that Chan Gailey will make the offense simple enough for Geno Smith to do well. After all, Chan is the man who made Fitzpatrick relevant not once, but twice. Once in Buffalo, and again last season. Geno Smith may not be as intelligent or battle-tested as Fitzpatrick. But Smith is more mobile and does throw a beautiful football. If his maturity, accuracy, and offensive reads have improved then he will do well. You also have to remember that his first 2 years in the league he was playing in a Marty Mornhinweg West Coast scheme with a depleted offense. Now he's playing in a Chan Gailey Spread scheme with a bunch of offensive weapons. I wouldn't write Geno Smith off just yet.
  8. According to the B-League Yahoo fantasy page, it was established in 2011. So this will be the 6th season. As for the members, the 1st post from last years league is empty (weird), but I've managed to compile this list from the thread when everybody drafted. Just trying to do my part to help. 9. Nooo! This was going to be the year that I beat HC for the championship!
  10. Iron Man Batman The Joker Superman Wonder Woman Captain America Spider-Man Catwoman Deadpool Daredevil
  11. Such a pain in the ass. Install-crash at Terms & Conditions-reopen-Failed to get player info from server-uninstall-repeat. I'm glad for the people that PokemonGo works for. But I'm pretty disappointed. Whatever.
  12. That's very true. I believe the Bulls could surprise a lot of people this year. They went from losing Rose & Noah to gaining Rondo & D-Wade. Plus Lopez in the Rose trade. That's a decent trade-off if you ask me.
  13. I will never be fooled by Jon Jones again. I need a new favorite fighter.
  14. I'm pretty sure the main reason why he won't sign an extension is because he can get stupid money next off season, when the salary cap goes up AGAIN. It doesn't make sense for him to take less money now when he can make more a year from now. It's fully possible he could/would resign with OKC next off season, but he just wants to get paid.
  15. Agreed. Quarterback contracts are starting to look more and more like MLB contracts. Ridiculous.
  16. I personally put Buddy Ryan up there with Don Coryell in terms of how innovative he was. I imagine those two are going at it tit-for-tat in football heaven. If anybody wants to read a fun little Buddy Ryan story, here you go.
