I'll be playing it regardless, and we always had people who wanted to knock off achievements in Gears 2, including this past summer. Horde mode was such a blast, still haven't tried beast mode, but yeah, really enjoying the deathmatch on this game. There was also 5-7 people online playing when you would get off work I believe.

Shoot me an invite if you guys see me on, I'll be playing the campaign, but will drop it quick to play some Horde/Beast/Team Deathmatch/What Have You. EDIT: I do agree that this year's team deathmatch is fun, never really cared for it in the previous two games, but yesterday when playing with you guys was a blast.

FINALLY got my copy, UPS came by thankfully, said the other guy didn't know where the place was. If you guys see me on and want to play, just let me know.

So I have run into some good fortunes, and will be getting this release day tomorrow, that is if UPS doesn't screw up the release date delivery. Always nice to pre-order from Amazon for the 20 dollar credit on a future purchase.

I won't have it release day, but sometime around October 14th or so. Enjoyed the hell out of the first two co-op campaigns, so I'm sure the 4-player co-op will be even better.

If you're playing "legit" survival, an excellent source of food is to get bonemeal and make mushroom stew. Basically, find either the brown or red mushroom, make sure it has enough room around it, and use bonemeal on it by righclicking on it and presto, a giant mushroom. When you tear down the mushroom you get even more small mushrooms of the same type, got 20 red mushrooms from a large red one I supersized with bonemeal once.

Had such a great time playing and streaming this game...only to find out the version released to Steam was the developer version. Still, had a blast playing it, but explained why the game crashed a few time >_>

I play L4D2 at LEAST once a week, and a lot of the time we are looking for people to play versus with us on stream. I'm sure a EWB L4D2 cast would be hilarious and controversial >_>

Ruki and I have it on 360, which reminds me, add it to the games we need to play again Ruki!

I pre-ordered it a few weeks back cause of the sick Gamestop poster it came with, and depending on what kind of info is shown and how gameplay looks, I'll either keep the pre-order or move it to something else. Perhaps by November I'll be back into the modern war FPS game, we'll see.

Cool little thread here. As for me, if I'm not casting I find myself not really playing anything outside of it. Including casting, played a LOT of L4D/2 this week, beat Portal 2 on Monday, working my way through Zealot on Dead Space 2, and hunted for a few achievements on Portal 2. Pumped for LA Noire next week as well.

There is a point to all the tests in co-op(you are two robots designed to do tests, because that's pretty much your purpose in the portal games), but yeah, no actual story. Definitely agreed about playing through the first one before doing the second. And I'd be down for some GoW3 beta action!

I don't like modern war FPS. If Brink is cool/interesting enough, I'll read reviews and see what everyone's opinion is of it, then possibly get it.

Yeah, such a lie, considering I just got through the last bit of Chapter 2 and most of Chapter 3 with 9 to 5 tonight.

Wonderful sale, picked up Raskulls yesterday, got Comic Jumper/Dead Money add-on/X-Men Arcade today.

I thought I remembered reading something over at IGN a few weeks ago saying that even if there was a lockout, they would still have players in the game. Found an article about it: EDIT: Also, EA has the rights to the NFL players likenesses in games. A few analysts say though that there still may be some financial troubles.
