  1. Well, what a match, our side, missing 3 key first team players plus other injuries just beat an extremely poor Sunderland side (save Anthony Stokes who looks good) 3-0 at the Kenny. We just completely outplayed them and everyone was playing on top form, it feels so good after last season. Just hoping for a decent draw. Also Paul Furlong appears to actually be not a bad signing, and I have been premature on my oppinion on Blackwell, maybe he's doing better than i expected.
  2. Jonty will beat Carole, I think Carole will be the first one out. The twins got hysterical over nothing Katty, and the boys said they didn't need to, end of. But i wasn't a fan of the way Liam reacted to Brians crap comment, so i suppose it hasn't helped them.
  3. When Michael Owen is fit will you put him in the squad? Yeah, i've found that Bents a goal machine when I signed him for my Newcastle side to go up front with Kevin Doyle. They knocked in 25 a peice. I'm thinking of just simming 30 years and seeing where every club is and their histroy and what happens in the Leagues, has anyone done that before. Are the results interesting, or do the teams stay in relatively the same areas?
  4. I'll definatly go and watch this, I liked Big Nothing and hope that I will enjoy this movie. Pegg is one of my favourite actors at the moment, he has great timing. I'm sure i can pursuade my friends to see this instead of the planned Rush Hour 3.
  5. Brian annoys the living hell out of me, during that finishing school his constant whinging and this whole Amanda stuff is just crap. If he comes second I will be none too pleased. As much as i like Jonty, it wouldn't be fair to have him in the top three really. Sam and Amanda are alright I suppose, their innocent and mean no harm to anyone, which is fine with me. Carole moves up and down with me, although I laughed at the scene when they were all having a party and she was in the shower being a grump, which she has turned into lately, costing her some voters i'd say. I think i'd want Liam to win if im honest, I just like him, he's friendly he appears to have morals. Ziggy probably ties with Liam, i like them equally, two nice guys, I've been in Ziggys camp from the start to be honest. But Liam has slightly swayed me to his side. We shall see.
  6. I'm so happy Watford got dicked so i wish to embrace TAFKA in a hug to celebrate. ({) The Dads Army put on a good performance yesterday beating a Gillingham side who look destined for the drop already, they were poor. Furlong finally showed glimpses of why we brought him in, whilst Drew Talbot is proving to be a good buy. With David Bell and David Edwards in midfield, along with Matt Spring and Darren Currie, i beleive we have one of, if not the best midfield in the league. A fantastic mix of youth and experience. I'm happy.
  7. Oh god, don't get me started on that issue. Last year there was never any shirts in stock and it was rediculous. Fortunatly we have a decent supplier this time round and a fair amount of shirts for sale, can't have another repeat of the shambles.

  9. Funny story, I've played on the same team and against Keith Keane, he can't run properly due to flat feet. In terms of the game he can prove to be quite a good player. I find that i can't score any goals, whatever tactic I use with them.
  10. I'm thinking of giving it one last shot with Luton, if it doesn't work this time I give up with them until FM 07, we've not not been relegated in any of the games I've played as them. Even with bundles of money, nothing happens, hard work. If anyone can do better with them, please tell me how.
  11. How many English Pro Evo players do we have?
  12. Having just got back onto XBox Live, if anyone fancies a game of Pro Evo, i'm willing.
  13. A loss to a side like Swindon hurts hard if we are to go for promotion, no matter what we need to put teams like that away. I'm still worried about the dads army aspect of the side and unless guys like Furlong step up we could be stuck in the mid table. We shall see.

  15. Well i suppose every League one side would be full for the deduction, fair or not fair, but I guess that's the way it goes. Ken Bates is an idiot and I feel sorry for you. I don't like Wise one bit, he annoys the hell out of me. I hope you don't go down though.
  16. You don't want to go to Watford mate, it's a horrible little place. We've just sold another player who came up through the youth ranks, it's like Blackwell doesn't really care about the tradition of good football and a great youth system. It's worrying.
  17. If i'm honest i've not seen the goals yet so i can't agree or disagree with you. I see Boyd scored for Orient, good on him I say.
  18. A solid victory for the Hatters there with two new signings getting onto the scoresheet. Just a shame we gave away a silly penalty.
  19. Well unless he turns 35 or over in those next two years we won't be after him. Maybe he'll move to the Kings of the Championship...the mighty Ipswich Town. I don't think Forest will be top 2, not sure why, i just don't fancy them to do it. I like the look of a couple of mainstays of the division in Oldham and someone like Doncaster.
  20. Oh right, does he actually play much for Preston then? I suppose he will get a bit more of a chance now Nugents gone. Danny Graham is a good signing, doesn't match up to Paul Furlong though does it.
  21. In my view their more likely to go up than down. Do they still ave Karl Hawley?
  22. Meh, Parkins back in a league he was top scorer in, and I'm sure he'll do great with a decent partner and some good backing from midfield.
  23. I don't mean to be mean, but don't need to hear EVERY SINGLE peice of news about your club. I mean i put small things here and there as does everyone, but not huge reports about everything. Also, the first game of the season is rapidly approaching, are you happy with your teams pre-season, signings and what are you looking forward to this season. Our pre-season was average, we've brought in dads army whilst selling a great centre back and I'm looking forward to Sammy Parkin playing a full season for us and banging in the goals.
