I went to buy tickets for a 5:40 showing at 4pm, and the theater that was playing it was sold out until the midnight show. We went to that showing, and even though my eyes hurt and I had a headache for half the movie, I still thought it was pretty good. It wasn't amazing, or anything, but I was entertained throughout. It's a scientific fact that the RPG genre peaked with Chrono Trigger. It's a fucking travesty that double- and triple-tech attacks didn't become standard features of every RPG that came out after it.

My girlfriend is a fan of Lucky Star(Everyone who only kinda liked it should give the OVA a try). Being a fan of the show, she bought figures of a couple of the characters. A friend of ours happened by today. Upon seeing the figure he remarked, in all seriousness, "Lucky Star has the best hentai, it really does.". Sometimes I hate my friends.

I believe so, not 100%, though. If there are green, blue, and yellow ports on the back of the Rock Band 1 drum kit, then they should work for the RB1 kit as well.

We picked up the 2-cymbal kit last night. They add a whole new layer of awesome to playing drums. It feels much more fun and interesting playing with the cymbals.

Yes, if only because of the historical importance of the film to anime in the west. Plus, if I recall correctly, it's a pretty cool movie. At least I thought it was when I saw it 15 years ago.

Watch the OVAs instead. The TV series had a lame ending. I think the first two OVAs cover the story of the TV series, then they move past the TV series to actually answer the many questions the TV series leaves. Plus the artwork is much, much better.

I'm lost in a vault and I can't find my way out!

Surprised this game hasn't seen more attention. I bought it this morning, only had time to get just past the intro. My experiences with this game are as follows: -Attempt to sneak out of vault with minimum attention. -Fail at sneaking out of vault, discover 2 security guards and overseer interrogating overseer's daughter/my friend. Get attacked by 2 security guards and vault overseer. Kill guards with pistol, run out of bullets, beat overseer to death in front of his daughter with club taken from dead guards. -Escape vault. -Wander in wasteland. -Get attacked by monstrous mutant dog and mole. Beat them to death with club. -Find ruined farm. -Find family of giant spiders in farm. -Run from family of giant spiders. -Find rifle. -Get cocky about fighting family of giant spiders. -Realize I didn't find any bullets for rifle. -Run from family of giant spiders. -fun from flying thing that can shoot at me. -find abandoned neighborhood. -steal metro tickets from mailbox. -hear gunshots. -investigate source of gunshots. -die in hail of gunfire from unseen assailant. This game is awesome.

I bet they come out in the days either immediately before or after GH4's release. I'm wondering when the cymbal add ons are coming out.

My personal recommendations are as follows: Awesome: Full Metal Alchemist, the first half of Death Note, Haruhi. Good: Full Metal Panic, Steel Angel Kurumi OK: Azumanga Diaoh, Bleach, he second half of Death Note Unwachable crap: Maburaho I haven't seen Ghost Stories or Comic Party.

Hellsing Volume 4 just came out a couple weeks ago. That volume catapulted Hellsing into my top 5 favorite series'.

I liked the video game episode, if only for the massive amount of references and just-close-enough-to-not-get-sued characters. The other episode I saw blew.

They added a whole new category of clothing, the problem is that most of it is terrible, and about 1/3rd of it is dumb looking T-shirts. The existing categories only have 2-3 new items in them, if that. I don't recall seeing any new hairstyles, either. There are more faces, makeup, and glasses options, though. It's not enough, though. I was hoping they'd do something like nearly double the amount of items available.

I think it's absolute bullshit that turning on selectable venues turns off access to Xbox live. And I'm disappointed that there aren't more new clothing options. And too many early challenges involve Duran Duran. Aside from that, this game is amazing.

I was at a costume store today, and I saw Joker masks for sale.Masks. I'm not sure what I'm more astounded at, that there are $20 masks for a character anyone can accurately look like with $5 of makeup and, at most, a cheap wig, or that I know there are a lot of people out there actually buying the damn things.

The only difficult metallica song, I think, is Blackened. I think the Thrash and Roadrunner packs have harder songs.
