Actually picked this up yesterday on somewhat of a whim, and I had a blast for the little I was able to play last night. Got through what is basically the tutorial - the group mission at the police station was great. Found it quite tough as well, which was a pleasant surprise. Don't know yet if it will hold my attention in the super long term, but definitely a lot of fun right now. Especially as I didn't really know much about it until yesterday. Lany other EWB'ers playing?

15! Have to admit, I only got Shaaban right because they paired him with Alex Manninger. Also totally guessed at Stefan Postma.

Haven't played FM in a while and almost bought '16 this weekend. Decided against it after looking at my FM15 saved games. Still got my Everton one going and just finished off my 4th season with a PL, CL and FA Cup treble. Four titles in four seasons now, so I was hoping to move on, especially as the Bayern and Barca jobs just came up. Bayern offered me an interview but went for, out of football for a year after failing at Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp. Barca are 'flattered' by my interest, so I fully expect them to hire Brendan Rodgers shortly. Looks like I may have to stay another season at Everton and go for 5 in a row, but first there's the World Cup to enjoy with England.

Ah well, back to normal. The one time in LVG's tenure that it would have been worth humping it up to Fellaini and he brings on Schneiderlein. For Herrera no less.

Absolutely, credit where it's due today. Definitely seeing the benefits of playing Herrera regularly, and playing Mata centrally. Part of me wants to believe LVG has finally taken the hint and taken the shackles off, but I still think it's more a product of circumstance, in having so many youngsters in the team. It will be interesting to see who keeps a place once players start coming back, and how that affects the overall style of play. I don't think there's a place for Rooney in our best 11 at the moment, certainly not as the main striker or the number 10 anyway.

We've won our last four (i think?) against Liverpool. By the laws of my Football Manager games, they now owe us a 4-0 hammering.

You're right. LVG definitely planned all these injuries. Just part of his philosophy. Do you honestly think the likes of Borthwick-Jackson and Varela would be anywhere near the first team without these injuries? Lets not forget, LVG chose to play noted full backs Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia, ahead of calling them up. That draw couldn't be much worse in terms of British involvement in the latter stages. One team definitely going out and one playing the favourites.

Let's not get carried away. He was only played through absolute necessity. Credit LVG for trusting the youngsters but most of it isn't out of choice. Rashford wouldn't have even been involved if Will Keane hadn't gotten injured on Monday, or if James Wilson wasn't out on loan, for example. He hasn't even started a game for our under 21s before. He did really well, yeah. But it's not so much a case of "LVG bringing in the youngster" as it is of our squad simply being so paper thin that we have no other choice.

If it's at all possible to get Jose in now they should do it but, as rockbox says above, there's no guarantee that's an option. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. I think if it's possible to replace him now, it might just happen after tonight. I know we had a lot of injuries but that's no real excuse. Put it this way. If he's not gone after tonight's display, he's staying until the end of the season. Edit - Also, everyone should totally look up Romero's save. Unreal.
