Poor game last night aside, one thing really stood out for me... John Stones needs to move abroad. We will utterly ruin him as footballer in this country. The kid has potential to be world class, but every time he dares to not hoof it aimlessly down field, the crowd and commentators are instantly on his back. Yes he'll make the odd mistake, he's still learning the game, but I'd happily take that over seeing him just lofting pointless balls into our lone striker's chest, whilst said striker is surrounded by 4 defenders.

Yeah, played a few more games and the post hitting was much less frequent. Just a coincidence in those first few games I guess.

Just started playing fifa again and put shooting on semi assisted as normal. Played a few games against my mate and seemed to be hitting the post alot, which I remember is why I first started using semi assisted on the old fifas. Is it still the same now or is the default setting fine?

Henderson was shite.

Alli was exceptional last night. Refreshing to see an England player able to keep hold of the ball and make things happen in tight areas. I think Welbeck really suits that formation, not so sure about Lallana. Henderson has great energy but is just not good enough in possession. Whilst Vardy's goal was brilliant, I don't think I would start him at the Euros (unless Woy goes for two up top). He'll be an excellent impact player for us either way. Honestly one of the best England performances I can remember though. Would love to see Stones in for Cahill, we need someone who can play from the back. Someone in for Henderson (Barkley? Can Alli play deeper?) - I'd say Mark Noble but no chance he is getting picked ever. I don't see any place for Rooney, Sterling or Wilshere in the starting eleven. If Roy *has* to play Rooney, you could maybe play him on the right, where he had a decent game in the France friendly. I'd love Luke Shaw to get fit though, he'd be so good in this team.
