  1. Continuing with my Ret Paladin all the way. Lots of people complaining they're rubbish and blah blah blah. I've played on the pre patch and on the beta, and they're fine. Mechanically, ret is wayyy more fun than in WoD. Really looking forward to Legion now (Karazahn 7.1 HYPE!). I actually have the week off work when the expansion comes out (pure coincidence, since I put my holidays in at the end of 2015!), so hoping the servers don't die as much as they did at WoD launch.
  2. I mean, changes/additions to game modes are all well and good and the pro clubs stuff sounds cool. But the gameplay, in the videos I've seen, seems almost identical to 16.
  3. I picked the wrong time to go water the new garden turf then eh? Missed all 4 second half goals. Cue "It's our year, YNWA" in around 20 mins.
  4. Christ, that's a peach. Completely masks an awful Liverpool performance too!
  5. Good finish. Never let an Englishman take a pen. Moreno is so bad.
  6. Looks like Firmino and Moreno went to the same shit hairdressers
  7. Fancy Liverpool to win this reasonably comfortably, sadly. Arsene talking about the importance of intelligent football, yet picks Walcott up top - a player who must be in the negative numbers for football intelligence. Is Giroud not fit after the Euros? Of course, given that I'm here slating him, Walcott will no doubt go and score a hat trick now.
  8. Decent performance, great result. Nice to win a game comfortably for a chance. Bailly looks great, really decent on the ball too. Also, lol Walcott starting.
  9. Nice finish that. Bad time to concede really, gives them a lift going into the last 20.
  10. Told you Rooney was having a great game.
  11. I can only assume Rooney is being told to slow the game down every single fucking time he gets it, because if he isn't, Jose wants to be giving him a rollicking.
  12. On the contrary, I feel the game is significantly better once you're a few hours in. The main early frustration the horribly small inventory size. To the point where early game feels like an inventory management sim. Once you start upgrading the Exosuit and your ship, it's less of an issue. I get that the game won't be for everyone, but I feel like a lot of those giving negative reviews are basing them off their unrealistic/incorrect expectations of what the game would be. There are valid criticisms of course, but a lot of the reviews boil down to essentially saying, "there's nothing to do!" , which is the equivalent of saying there's nothing to do in Minecraft.
  13. Only thing worse than Fellaini is Steve fucking McManaman's voice. Oh, Rooney too...
  14. I presume the draw is somewhat regional? Seems to be a lot of nearby teams playing eachother.
  15. Absolute shit load of North East teams in there. Might go watch the Chester le Street game since it's just down the road. Totally my standard of football too. Reckon I've played against at least 10 of those teams in the past.
  16. So I've just acquired both Pokemon Y and Pokemon Omega Ruby. As someone who isn't at all up to date with recent Pokemon games (last I played was Crystal? Maybe?), is there one I should start with over the other? I intend on playing both at some point when I've finished replaying yellow. Leaning towards Y first simply because it's older, but is there any reason to play Ruby first?
  17. So I just picked up a 2DS relatively cheaply. I've never owned a Nintendo console or any form of DS. The only game I was planning to pick up was one of the original Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow. Other than that, I'm clueless. Recommend me some games EWB!
  18. Sunday Supplement followed Goals on Sunday is usually a staple for me if I'm not playing on a weekend. Sunday Supplement can be quite terrible though, depending on which journalists are on. Not Sky Sports, but I always enjoy watching the Bundesliga highlights on ITV(2?4?) when I manage to catch them.
  19. Wow, that's pretty amazing. And I can now somewhat justify my irrational hatred of Messi!
  20. Been doing a lot of reading about FM and watching videos, whilst starting random saves to mess around with tactics. Finally settled on a Walsall game. Rico Henry and Romaine Sawyers are basically cheat codes. So are literally all wing backs for that matter.
  21. To be fair, he didnt say he was stopping at four. He said they had identified four key areas that they were going to address well before the window closed and that the window would still be open for further business. Even so, at centre half you would have Bailly, Smalling, Blind, Jones, Rojo, Fosu Mensah, McNair. Short of signing a Pique/Varane/other superstar, I'm not sure there's too many players you could realistically get who would be a major improvement. In fact - trying to think of top class centre halves is stumping me a bit. I still always come back to Pique, Cheillini, Varane, Ramos, etc. Outside of Varane, European football doesn't seem to be brimming with top quality, young defenders.
  22. Eh, decent press conference I thought. Nothing ground breaking. Obvious dig at Wenger aside - his point is a valid one. The line of thinking that says he has something to prove is hilarious given his track record. In terms of bringing youngsters through because of injuries, he's spot on as well. That's the only reason we did it last season, not out of some great ideal or responsibility of having to bring players through. I'm obviously pretty biased but listening to him speak actually does excite me for the season ahead. Outright saying "I want to win everything" is a hundred times better to hear as a fan than what we've had recently. Jose's very well spoken and does kind of pull you in when he's in charge of, and talking about, your club. I just hope he continues to be well spoken through the season instead of getting embroiled in stupid moans and arguments. I'm sure he'll have his moments - and I don't mind the odd dig at a manager/club here and there - but hoping it's kept to a minimum.
  23. These guys play football for a living (and earn the GDP of a small country for doing so). On days where they don't have games, they train until lunch time and piss off home to their mansions. They have access to the highest levels of diet, exercise, equipment and people to help them recover from their 2 games a week. Players have ample opportunity to "rest" if they supposedly need it.
  24. Imagine doing your job for a whole two and a half years. Poor lamb.
