I really enjoyed Last Resort (Andre Braugher is fantastic) and thought it was a really cool concept. Sadly it got cancelled halfway through the first season and they were only able to rush out a really crappy half arsed ending.

Having a great time with it so far. Just hit 108 and I've still got a quarter of Highmountain and the whole of Stormheim still to do. Between class halls, profession quests, artifacts etc, there just seems so much to do. It's a really nice change of pace from WoD and feeling like there was very little to do.

Only thing he did all game to be fair. Still, it was more than deserved. It was nice to see us really put Hull under pressure. Last few years that would have petered out into a dour 0-0. Rashford and Mkhitaryan were fantastic when they came on. Definitely the most Zlatan has been involved in a game so far as well. Will be a shame to see Martial and Mata come out of this team thought while Rooney starts every week.

I'm not arguing with that. It just strikes me as odd when you have someone on the pitch who can strike a dead ball like Coutinho can. Put it this way, I'd bet more on Coutinho scoring a pen than James Milner. That's probably purely based on him being English though...

Thought it might have been just outside from the first replay, but looks like it was just in. Something you're guaranteed to see every game of football at every single level; a defender barrelling through the back of a striker so that the ball ends up at their feet. Then, when a foul gets called, they pick the ball up and gesture to the ref "LOOK I GOT THE BALL". Yes, you have the ball now that you've clattered the centre forward.

Well it's one each now. Matip would've been done for a foul anywhere else on the pitch, or from a corner for that matter.

Option files made somewhat of a comeback last year, but it was a slow laborious process to import the stuff and then assign the various kit images to each team individually. Supposedly it's a lot easier this year. The community for editing is still really active, so there will probably be something out a few days after release. The demo is really good. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it played and it's probably sold me on this over FIFA. I'm interested in FIFA's story mode, but it seems like the gameplay is basically the same as 16 and they've done very little (or nothing at all) to improve the career mode. I don't play Ultimate Team much so it doesn't really seem like FIFA is for me anymore. PES will no doubt have faults that surface over time (I worry it will become too easy, for one), but it's got a great feel to it and is genuinely enjoyable to play.

@Cloudy same as TKZ, I'm in EU, so not sure we can even add each other? I will happily try though - btag is Dincht04#2568. Yeah, it does feel like it needs something extra, but I'm enjoying it. If you haven't already, try stacking haste. I find it much more engaging with the 20-25% haste I have right now. As for numbers; everyone's are down significantly. I'm still top 5 on each boss in my guild, so I'm happy right now. I played a bit on beta as well and Ashbringer definitely makes a difference. Wake of Ashes giving an instant 5 holy power is a huge help. We could probably use a numbers pass though, but I'm sure all that will get balanced out out before raiding starts. I've also had great fun in random battlegrounds with the Eye For an Eye and Holy Wrath talents. Nothing better than being jumped on by a Rogue and a Warrior and blowing both up with a Bubble/Holy Wrath combo when you get low. Really looking forward to the new pvp system in Legion. As for Demon Hunters; the mobility is great fun, but it all feels a bit too simplistic at the moment (and, by all accounts, not hugely different at 110). I went tank on mine, which is a little more interesting than the dps spec, but I can't ever see it being more than an alt.

Well PES and FIFA are both football games, and are poles apart in how they play, so yeah... there's plenty that can be changed. The problem is that they don't have to change anything. People will still buy it and shovel a fortune into Ultimate Team. For me, there are huge improvements needed in terms of the AI, particularly defensively, and in some of the animations. FIFA animations look fantastic for the most part, but still suffer from the old problem of getting "stuck" in a preset animation where there is a delay before your input is actually recognised. Offline, the game just becomes repetitive quite quickly.
