  1. Well... those confirm that Storm is in... but what about Roode? A screenshot of an email the midway press team sent me yesterday... Sorry about the small size of the pictures but that is how they where sent in the email, and midway have not updated their press site yet.
  2. Storm and Roode are def in, I have seen screenshots
  3. Eric was in one of the trailers, they have confirmed him, right? If not then I have no idea what the hell they are doing, as apparantly the DLC are Petey, Kaz, Mike Tenay and one other, which could be Eric I suppose.
  4. I have a run down on my site, but because I'm in a nice mood: The videos have finally been released and you can find them on our forums or at the link below: SI Games Youtube Below are the features we have found within the videos: Video 1: There is a isometric 3d pitch view!! The old 2d style view is still there, however it looks revamped It looks like tactics have been given a graphical revamp, however it is not possible to tell at first glance whether they have been changed under the hood. Video 2: November 14th is the release date Football Manager 2009 handheld: You can now add multiple leagues during the game ie start with one and add a maximum of 3 more as you go along. 5. Full entrances, yes it does have them. Wrestlers walking out of a ramp, with their music, entrance video, pyro, audience etc is a full entrance. It is just cut in half. On smackdown, the entrance was just them walking in front of their video. Cage/HIAC/Ladder/Table where not in Smackdown 1, which I am talking about. Smackdown 1 had a few matches, which where essentially varieties of the same match. Smackdown 2 was when the game really introduced new things, which will happen in Impact 2. There is an excuse for them not having everything in, it is there first ever wrestling game. Smackdown was the 3rd THQ wrestling game? Cut them a bit of slack. And I am only comparing it to smackdown 1 because a few people did it earlier in the thread, so I am giving reason why they have done more with Impact than THQ did with Smackdown 1. Also I agree that the pre season was probably the best thing about smackdown 1.
  6. Uhh, point 2. Not one point did I say the season mode was better than all the smackdown games. I said the season mode in smackdown 1 was shit, which it was. Point 4. What I meant was none of the matches in smackdown one had anything like the matches in impact, sure they may have had more, but they where shit as well. If I remember correctly, things like cage, ladder, tlc etc where not brung into the series until smackdown 2. I really do not get the point in comparing it to smackdown one, when that game lacked so much! The caw mode was pathetic, a dinasour head, seriously? Now if you where comparing it too smackdown 2, I wouldn't be on this rant.
  7. http://www.manutd.com/publish.sps?pagegid=...&bioid=4130 Not tapped up hey?
  8. Ok, so when did smackdown have video cut scenes? A season mode that consisted of more things than constant matches with crappy repetitive cutscenes? Full entrances? Matches like Ultimate X? What they didn't? Oh, carry on then
  9. Yeah, just edit the 4-2-4 tactic to basically have no keeper/defense, save it and replace the default 4-2-4 tactic, then watch the bastards cry when you counter attack and score from 70 yards
  10. He has not signed, but SSN where saying he is on his way right now to finalise it all. I take that back, its being reported he has signed, wow
  11. Madrid are saying that Robinho is going to City, as they do not want to sell to Chelsea. Robinho is also saying this himself. So he is going to Chelsea then
  12. 2104: This won't surprise you in the least, but I'm getting wind of an enormous bust-up over the signing of Tottenham's Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov. It probably revolves around Manchester United taking him though a medical, even though Spurs haven't allowed United to speak to him yet. This one is about to get brutal.
  13. It has always been illegal to drink it in the seats.
  14. That I can agree with, they should have delayed it and got everything they needed into the first game.
  15. Think of it like this. Halo 3 took what, 3 years to make when they had a HUGE budget and they already had a base game to use. TNA iMPACT! had much less budget, a bit less time and no previous game to use as a base. And to me, they made one hell of a game. Yes it has it's downs but it is still a good first game. It is by the look of it much better than SVR08 at least (that game was HORRIBLE in my opinion). And no I am ont a TNA mark. I haven't watched TNA in like a month and I watch WWE all the time. (Though I may be a TNA game Mark ) Even Smackdown 1, for the Playstation, had more superstars, more moves, more weapons, backstage areas. I think you get my point. Should the game with it being the first in the series been on par with the Smackdown games (even if you think those suck too..) no, not really, but there were plenty of things they could have done to make it better, that they didn't. I mean, one weapon? 8 moves per person? Give me a break. Sure, they didn't have a previous game as a base to build off, but they did have years of SD as a reference. And should have known what the standard for wrestling games were. That said, I still want to play, But I'm definitely waiting to find it for less then 30. As said, back then wrestlers took about a week to create, now they take around 1-3 months each. There is a complete difference and thus comparing any next gen game to a game two generations old is irrelevant.
  16. Apparantly is is not anymore, despite them again earlier saying it was
  17. Yeah but in earlier interviews they said they had mo capped over 2500 moves
  18. The thing is, everyone is saying how there is nothing in this version, well it is their first version. Smackdown was THQs third game, and they did not have to work with anything as near as complicated graphics wise etc. Wrestlers took a week to create back then, now they take between 1-3 months. Though I am pissed that they said there would be 2500 moves, and now they are saying yeah they have them all but only 150 or so are in the game. And the website states they have the axe kick, scorpion death lock etc.......when they don't. But still, Impact 2 should be good, though Midway kinda did shoot themselves in the foot with that q and a, it basically says don't buy the first one, wait for the second.
  19. Does the guy have some dodgy photos of Ince that we do not know about? Really can not see what he can bring to the team, especially as we have just signed Grella as well. Will give him a chance though, just hope none of our fans boo him, as I know a lot are pissed off about the signing, and hell, if they booed Benni on saturday, I think they will boo Andrews.
  20. Aye, all because defenders have goals doesn't mean you are using the cheat, Bale was my top scorer one season, mainly because he used to whack em in every match from 25 yards, oh, and he was a beast with freekicks
  21. Rovers have signed Vince Grella from Torino. For anyone who doesn't know of him, he is Australian and plays for the national team.
  22. That is exactly what you have to do, for each and every player......hard work
  23. I do actually, that is one of the hardest challenges, taking both san marino teams to european and world glory, especially considering San Marino are in Serie C2 or something, and the international team got beat 13-0 by Germany. If you are on about the triggers causing the bottom teams to qualify, which I think you are, that does not happen anymore since Si blatantly told everyone that such things existed and the hackers fixed all their no cd patches.
