Opening ceremony has been interesting, to say the least.

I really enjoyed it. Ticket ballot was very kind to me so I've got a busy few days ahead of me - swimming is the only thing I put in for and didn't get.

Lived in Birmingham for seven years, and worked at the Birmingham Mail when they were heavily backing the bid to host the games, so definitely feel connected to it. Really keen to see the glow up that the city (and surrounding cities) have gone through in the build-up.

Also big fan of an event which lets me support Team Wales. More of that please.

I'm not going to lie..Couldn't give a shit about the Commonwealth Games, but like that Birmingham might be a catalyst for cricket. But I like that para-lympians are treated equal.. 

Right well me.. I know the women are going to wonderful things for cricket.. I am interested in the Road Cycling, @Lineker do you have a course for what Mark Cavendish is going to win on?

The road race is being held at St. Nick's, in Warwick. The time trials are in West Park, in Wolverhampton.

Uganda got a draw against Australia in the 7s. With Uganda missing a kick to win it as time expired.
