Actually, Sinatra himself named Tony Bennett as his favorite singer.

He would have been 97 next month.

I don't think I had heard of Tony Bennett before he did that duets album with Amy Winehouse etc. Hometown, My Town is one of the best of those 50s crooner type albums, so good for him.

If you haven't, go listen to The Best Is Yet To Come, and I Left My Heart In San Francisco. The latter was his signature song.
