I know he was on tv for years and did so much else but I will never stop howling with laughter at his appearance in Happy Gilmore.

And there's the third one, and another that had a connection to wrestling. Will never forget his hilarious stint as Raw guest host. Damn what a week. I guess even he couldn't hit 100 on the Showcase Showdown wheel. 

Can't help but think his final words were to remind us one more time "Help control the pet population, have your pets spayed or neutered. Good bye everybody."

He was never a big name over here, but his WWE appearance was a lot of fun. I had no idea he would have been in his mid-80s back then, such was his energy and showmanship.

I always felt he should’ve been cloned so future generations could’ve had this same wonderful experience.

99 is a long, long life. He was eternally a grandfatherly figure on TV growing up and if I was sick you bet I was watching The Price is Right.

We had our own Price Is Right so aside from a bit of pop culture osmosis via other shows, I never really got to experience him, but everything I saw him on he was entertaining and his attitude towards animals gives me a lot of respect for the man. 99 is a good innings, even then it never seems enough for anyone.
