AC/DC - They are good, but somehow I believe they are horribly overrated.

Slayer - Haven't listened to them that much to give an opinion.

Metallica - They only had three good albums, and those were Kill 'em all, Ride the lightning and master of puppets. It's amazing how the death of Cliff Burton changed Metallica's road, too bad it was downhill.

Megadeth - Me likes

Pantera - Me likes

Iron Maiden - Haven't listened to them that much to give an opinion.

Def Leppard - Haven't listened to them that much to give an opinion.

Led Zeppelin - I used to hate them, but now I realize.... they were the perfect rock band (That is, that nobody is a downside of the band, all of the members are equally important). Dazed and confused was the song that made me change my opinion, which is, IMO, one of the best songs ever.

The Beatles - Also used to hate, but I heard Come Together and changed completely my point of view. Also because Paul McCartney > You.

The Who - They are right next to Led Zeppelin to me. Also a perfect rock band like Led Zeppelin, and I need to hear more The Who songs. Their bassist kicks le butt.

Elvis Presley - Haven't listened to him that much to give an opinion. But he's a bit overrated by the songs I have heard. Meh, he really isn't just my style.

Papa Roach - Used to like, now they bore the fuck out of me.

Limp Bizkit - Ew.

Linkin Park - Ew.

Korn - Ew. Fieldy is horribly overrated.

Deftones - Haven't listened to them that much to give an opinion.

Meat Loaf - They kinda bore me.

Arch Enemy - No idea who they are.

In Flames - No idea who they are.

Soilwork - No idea who they are.

Opeth - Me likes.

Distillers - Haven't listened to them that much to give an opinion.

Meshuggah - No idea who they are.

Dillinger Escape Plan - No idea who they are... but by the name, I don't want to know.

Fear Factory - Heard them.... meh

Tool - Love them. Tool is definetely one of the best bands that are still active.

A Perfect Circle - Me no likes. Tool is waaaay better than APC.

Massive Attack - No idea who they are.

Chemichal Brothers - Meh

Van Halen - Haven't listened to them that much to give an opinion. But i have liked what I heard.

REM - Used to hate, now I'm kinda indifferent. I won't complain if a song of them is on the radio or a friend of mine is hearing them.

Nirvana - Love them. A bit overrated, but I still love them.

RHCP - Love their funky sound, I love Flea. Funk rock is one of my favorite types of genres.

Soundgarden - Can't get enough of them. Every song is poetry. My 2nd favorite band ever, Chris Cornell is the best thing that has happened to music.

Alice In Chains - My favorite band. They rock. They had a beatles look, but in the fact that they could play any style and it could come out good. Layne Staley had a magical voice, and he could sing metal, melodic, jazz, punk, and it could come out amazingly great. Rest in peace Layne, you were one of the most underrated musicians ever.

Manowar - No idea who they are.

Pearl Jam - Like them. Jeremy is one of my all-time favorite song.

Smashing Pumpkins - Haven't heard them that much to give an opinion. But from what I have heard, they bore more.

Mastodon - No idea who they are.

Audioslave - They may not be as good as Soundgarden, and some people say they aren't as good either as RATM, but I love them. You cannot believe the obsession I have with the song "like a stone". Chris Cornell is great here, but Tim Commenford dissapoints me. He was great on RATM, but on Auioslave he can now be replaced by any bassist.

Guns And Roses - Love them. Slash is definetely one of the best guitars (not now, but before) workers. Duff is also amazing. I quite like Matt Sorum style, even if his work is pretty simple.

Velvet Revolver - Not as good as Stone temple pilots or guns n' roses. Duff is now just an accompainment, matt doesn't impress me, slash has dropped talent, and Scott is just weird.

Muse - Haven't heard enough of them to give an opinion, but I have liked what I have heard.

Ash - No idea who they are.

The Killers - Overrated, but doen't mean they are bad, just that they were treated like the gods of 2004 with one fucking song. Pfft. Jenny was a far better song.

Machine Head - No idea who they are.

Marilyn Manson - Meh. Used to like him, now just bores me.

Emperor - No idea who they are.

Sepultura - I can listen to 1 or 2 songs, but after that, they bore me.

Faith No More - LIke them.

U2 - Overrated, but not bad.

Libertines - Love them. They ARE the best modern Indie group (tied with modest mouse) out there, and FAR better than Killers.

System Of A Down - Used to ike them, not theyjust bore me.

Joy Division - Like them

The Smiths - Bore me

The Streets - No idea who they are.

Morrissey - Bores me

Foo Fighters - Overrated, but I like them.

Mars Volta - Love them. Tied with Tool as the best band of the 21th century. The work is innovative, I like all instruments (except bass.... I can't fucking hear it!) and they are just so full of energy.

Snoop Dogg - Can't give an opinion. I don't like hip-hop/rap, and I haven't heard him.

Eminem - Don't like him

Ja Rule - See snoop dogg.

Jay-Z - See above

Tupac - See above

Eric Clapton - Love him. Cream owns your soul

Norah Jones - Like her. Her voice is great.

Bob Dylan - Can't get enough of him. I can't express how much I love hearing his songs.

Nine Inch Nails - Haven't heard enough of them, but I like what I have heard.

David Gray - No idea who he is.

Jeff Buckley - Love him, the most underrated singer EVER.

Tom Waits - Used to dislike him for his voice, but as I started hearing Primus, I started liking Waits' voice. He is great.

Depche Mode - Haven't heard enough of them

Nightwish - o idea who they are.

Lacuna Coil - Don't like them.

New Order - Haven't heard enough of them.

My Dying Bride - No idea who they are

Coldplay - Like them, but a bit overrated.

Keane - Haven't heard enough of them.

Stone Temple Pilots - Better than Velvet Revolver. Great grunge band.

Bush - Love them, a lot. The voice is great.

HIM - Haven't heard enough of them.

Slipknot - Meh.

The Clash - I fucking love them! I want their London Calling collection (2cd and DVD) and I'm about to get it. Idon't know how I used to hate them, they are amazing.

The Sex Pistols - Good punk band, but Clash is better.

Green Day - Like them. WMUWSE is an amazing song.

NOFX - No likey.

Rancid - Maxwell Murder is great.

Beastie Boys - Like them, they are good musicians.

Notorious B.I.G - No idea who they are.

RATM - Like them quite a lot. I love all the instruments, even though Tom Morello is, IMO, the most overrated guitarist ever. The harmony is nice, and Know your enemy is (Y).

36 Crazyfists - Haven't heard enough of them to give an opinion.

Killswitch Engage - Haven't heard eough of them to give an opinion.

EDIT; there, my list is complete.

I'll do this the easy way and comment on the bands/artists I've actually heard.

AC/DC - The stuff I've heard I love, so that's always a good sign.

Metallica - Never saw anything special. Like about 3 songs, the rest is average/mediocre.

Iron Maiden - Great band, great performers and love some of their stuff.

Def Leppard - Such an easy band to listen to, and their stuff is all good.

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven is probably my favourite song ever, but besides that they are still fantastic in every aspect of what they did.

The Beatles - Very good, but if you take John Lennon away you've got just another band who wouldn't have gotten anywhere if you ask me.

The Who - The greatest band ever if you ask me. Pete Townsend is one of the greatest song writers, and John Entwistle is the greatest bass players to have lived. Nothing but praise for my absolute favourite band.

Elvis Presley - Brilliant voice, and is only second to Freddie Mercury as the greatest performer ever.

Papa Roach - Meh, like one song, the rest is balls.

Limp Bizkit - Bloody hate them. Nothing good about them at all. Never heard their old stuff, heard it was good but I hate Fred Durst's fucking voice, so I don't want to listen to it anyway.

Linkin Park - I think that they are really good. Nothing amazing, but they are easy to listen to.

Korn - I like the stuff I've heard.

Meat Loaf - Awesome voice, and his songs always had something special about them.

REM - Never saw anything special about them. Like about 3 songs, but that's it.

Nirvana - Like one song, think the rest is crap. Simply put.

RHCP - Really good band that, again, are easy to listen to (for me anyway).

Audioslave - Heard one song, Cochise, but I love it so...

Guns And Roses - Without Slash (like the Beatles without Lennon) wouldn' have been anything special in my opinion. Some of their stuff was awesome though.

Velvet Revolver - Better than G'N'R if you ask me. Contraband is a brilliant album.

Muse - Nothing special, just another decent band.

The Killers - Don't see the hype.

Marilyn Manson - I think he/they are awesome. Know how to get people's knickers in a twist to cause controversy which is always fun. And, made Tainted Love actually sound good!

Faith No More - The album with Epic on it (can't remember the name) was brilliant, but I haven't heard anything beside that.

U2 - Again, the stuff I've heard I really love.

System Of A Down - Over-rated. Hate the lead singers voice because he sounds like an idiot.

The Streets - Fucking chavs...

Foo Fighters - Awesome band, Dave Grohl is a god damn it.

Eminem - Only rapper I actually like because not every single song is about killing someone, or going on about his "bitches", which is the main reason I fucking hate rap(pers).

Eric Clapton - A god on the guitar, second only to Jimi Hendrix in the greatest guitarists of all time if you ask me.

Bob Dylan- Stuff I've heard is good. But I haven't heard much.

Nine Inch Nails - Only heard three songs, liked what I heard, but nothing special.

Depche Mode - Meh, my friend loved them, I think they're average.

Nightwish - Nemo is a damn addictive song! Um, not to bad.

Coldplay - Best British band in the last...oo, 10-15 years I'd say.

Keane - What? A band with no guitar? That ain't no band then is it!?!

HIM - Average, nothing special.

Slipknot - I really liked Subliminal Verses, and one or two of their old songs were ok.

The Clash - London Calling is a great song, never heard anything else.

The Sex Pistols - ..they scare me.

Green Day - Best band around at the moment. American Idiot is the best album I own.

Beastie Boys - Heard some songs, and they do make some fantastic videos though. Songs are ok.

AC/DC - Some of their stuff is decent, a lot of it sounds very similar to me though.

Slayer - Too crap for my liking.

Metallica - Old school good, new school bad.

Megadeth - I like a lot of their stuff but I wouldn't go out my way to listen to them.

Pantera - Not a fan.

Iron Maiden - One of my favourite bands with some of my favourite songs like "Run To The Hills" and "Fear of the Dark".

Def Leppard - I don't really like them but I know a few fans.

Led Zeppelin - Couple of decent songs. Now I'm off to Satan's Toolshed.

The Beatles - I feel they were overrated but I can respect their work.

The Who - Second best British band? Bullshit.

Elvis Presley - I could listen to Elvis all day...and have done.

Papa Roach - Cock Roach would be a better name for them. Irritating.

Limp Bizkit - One good album went to their head.

Linkin Park - Excuse while I try and slash my wrists.

Korn - You know how you can still see corn in your shit?

Deftones - Indifferent to them, they're just "meh" to me.

Meat Loaf - Big fan, went to see him on his last tour. Great performer.

Arch Enemy - Never heard of them.

In Flames - See above.

Soilwork - See above.

Opeth - I like metal but this is just violent noise.

Distillers - Yeah.

Meshuggah - I once knew of a girl called Leanna Meshitter. No joke.

Dillinger Escape Plan - My music knowledge fails me once more.

Fear Factory - Don't like them.

Tool - They sure look like tools. Hayoo.

A Perfect Circle - 360 baby.

Massive Attack - A big bag of meh.

Chemichal Brothers - Like a few of their songs, their new album is cool.

Van Halen - Hair metal at it's hairiest.

REM - Pretty good, no great shakes though.

Nirvana - I blame them for the masses of "goth" teens although I do enjoy some of their stuff.

RHCP - I can take or leave them.

Soundgarden - Bore rock. Wooo.

Alice In Chain - Not a fan.

Manowar - Like thunder from the sky, sworn to fight then die. We're warriors, warriors of the world! Thorougly enjoyable.

Pearl Jam - Overrated for my money.

Smashing Pumpkins - Nothing I've heard of theirs has appealed to me.

Mastodon - More volumised crap. Actually the music isn't bad but the "singing" is atrocious.

Audioslave - They're okay. No more, no less.

Guns And Roses - Another favourite of mine.

Velvet Revolver - Like GnR forgot to bring the good.

Muse - I don't think them thought worthy.

Ash - They're just there.

The Killers - The best of the new breed of crap rock.

Machine Head - Unworthy of comment.

Marilyn Manson - Just started to get into his stuff.

Emperor - New groove.

Sepultura - Bless you?

Faith No More - Pure genius in the form of music. Who'd have thought?

U2 - The single most overrated band in history. Bono is my second most hated musician.

Libertines - Don't like them or the amount of press they're getting from their smackhead former singer.

System Of A Down - SO(a)D off.

Joy Division - I preferred New Order but since this was the precursor they earn cool points.

The Smiths - Morrissey makes me hurt myself...and others.

The Streets - With his accent he shouldn't be a rapper unless he wants to be a comedy act like GLC.

Morrissey - See The Smiths

Foo Fighters - I don't think much of them.

Mars Volta - Don't like them for whatever reason.

Snoop Dogg - Don't like rap in general.

Eminem - Used to like him but this G-Unit stuff is superghey.

Ja Rule - Who?

Jay-Z - I liked the film Annie.

Tupac - Don't like him in anyway or the way a lot of white friends of mine act as if he's the black John Lennon which he's not. Also I have a lot of white friends who love "Changes" but just don't seem to understand the message of the song. Not Tupac's fault though I guess.

Eric Clapton - "Layla" is a classic.

Norah Jones - Meh with a diet bland.

Bob Dylan - I hate his vocals, puts me off his songs.

Nine Inch Nails - I liked Johnny Cash's version of Hurt but nothing I've heard directly from NIN have I liked.

David Gray - His head moves too much, puts me off listening to him when he's on Jules Holland or anything like that. Either way he's dull.

Jeff Buckley - Not heard a lot of his work but what I have heard I've liked.

Tom Waits - See above

Depeche Mode - Some superb songs and lyrics. "Personal Jesus" is a favourite of mine.

Nightwish - One of my favourite bands. Beautiful.

Lacuna Coil - Very much like Nightwish. Another great band.

New Order - I like 'em.

My Dying Bride - Who?

Coldplay - The leaders of Dull Rock

Keane - The disiciples of Dull Rock.

Stone Temple Pilots - Not a fan.

Bush - Nothing doing for me.

HIM - I quite like them, I could see myself becomming a fan if I listened to more of their stuff.

Slipknot - Noise with knobs in.

The Clash - Great band with some killer songs.

The Sex Pistols - Don't like them but at least they're not Busted.

Green Day - I like a handful of songs.

NOFX - They're okay if you're into the punk/ska thing. I prefer Reel Big Fish though.

Rancid - Don't like them.

Beastie Boys - Rap at it's very best.

Notorious B.I.G - Not a fan.

RATM - Started getting into them recently, some good stuff.

36 Crazyfists - With a name like that I should like them...

Killswitch Engage - What?

If I want to, I'll write something about them.

If I could care less about them, I'll erase their name.

AC/DC - the Ramones of Metal.

Led Zeppelin - one of the true greats of music.

The Beatles - much respect.

The Who - much respect.

Elvis Presley - much respect.

Papa Roach - suck

Limp Bizkit - suck

Linkin Park- suck

Korn- suck

Deftones- suck

Meat Loaf - Bat Outta Hell was cool

Opeth - I love them.

Distillers - one of the best rock bands around.

Dillinger Escape Plan - Iron Is A Dead Scene = Masterpiece.

Tool - underrated and overrated.

A Perfect Circle - overrated

Massive Attack - much respect.

Chemichal Brothers- much respect.

Van Halen - they had one good CD.

REM - I love them.

Nirvana - overrated.

RHCP - overrated, but I like some of their stuff.

Pearl Jam - one of the good things from Seattle.

Smashing Pumpkins - They were cool.

Audioslave - sucks.

Guns And Roses - Axl Rose makes me barf...

Velvet Revolver - and Scott Weiland doesn't help me either.

The Killers - the Unicorns put it best - FUCK THE KILLERS.

Marilyn Manson - not nearly as offensive or talented as people say.

Faith No More - Mike Patton is seriously cool.

U2 - Joshua Tree is cool, and Bono is a great activist.

Libertines - not the next Clash, but still pretty good.

System Of A Down - I dig them.

The Streets - brilliant.

Foo Fighters - everyone has a huge hard-on for them, but I don't see why.

Mars Volta - they are good.

Snoop Dogg - drop it like it's hot.

Eminem - started off good, slowly slipping.

Jay-Z - got me to love rap music.

Tupac - forever immortalized despite the fact he doesn't deserve it.

Eric Clapton - genius with the guitar.

Norah Jones - good radio music.

Bob Dylan - master of words.

Nine Inch Nails - I really enjoy them.

Tom Waits - Very cool.

Coldplay - one of the best rock bands around today.

Stone Temple Pilots - I like some of their stuff.

Bush - hahaha, they blow.

Slipknot - I never thought 9 people could all suck so badly.

The Clash - one of the greatest bands ever.

The Sex Pistols - despite the fact they had no talent, somehow they had all of the talent in the world.

Green Day - They started off pretty good. Than they went down the shitter. And now they are slowing getting themselves out of the shitter.

NOFX - They just have no talent and unlike the Sex Pistols, they still have zero talent.

Rancid - I like them, Matt Freeman is a good bassist.

Beastie Boys - they are my dad's age and still cool.

Notorious B.I.G - like Tupic, should not be immortalized.

RATM - they were good.

*Takes deep breath*

AC/DC--Kinda ran out of steam once the '90s started, but they ruled the '70s and '80s, for sure.

Slayer--Too over-the-top.

Metallica--Fuck Lars in his money-grubbing ass. The music was strong up until St. Anger, though.

Megadeth--Other than "Peace Sells..." meh.

Def Leppard--The most metal pop band ever...highly enjoyable.

Led Zeppelin--Tolkien with rippin' solos.

The Beatles--Lennon was the brain, McCartney was the heart, and the band is the greatest.

The Who--True showmen, especially Keef and Pete.

Elvis Presley--Made rock 'n' roll accessible to everyone...if it wasn't for Sam Phillips cutting some demos with some Mississippi truck driver, we'd still be drowning in Pat Boone-like elevator music.

Papa Roach--One and done...now if only they'd get the clue.

Limp Bizkit--Dumb-ass frat-boy shit, except for "My Way." That song rocks.

Linkin Park--Whiny-ass navel-gazer shit, but they have a hella better sound than Limp. Some good stuff here.

Korn--Excellent for releasing aggression.

Meat Loaf--Wagner with guitars. When he worked with Jim Steinman (Bat Out of Hell I and II), he kicked massive ass. Without Steinman, meh.

Massive Attack--Excellent mood music for me, and they launched my man Tricky.

Chemichal Brothers--Amazed me with what a pair of guys with samplers could pull together.

Van Halen--Great with Dave, good with Sammy, sucked with Gary...and they won't ever make it back to where they were, unfortunately.

REM--My ex-roommate was the biggest REM freak I ever met...I've only recently started to see the attraction. Loved "Radio Song" with KRS-ONE, though.

Nirvana--Some will say the Beatles were overrated...I say Nirvana is. To each their own, I suppose.

RHCP--They've only gotten better with age..."Californication" was a kick-ass album all the way.

Soundgarden--Fell in love with them after that acid trip of a video for "Black Hole Sun." Great band, and I miss hearing Kim Thayil play.

Manowar--Aren't these the '80s metal guys with the loincloths?

Pearl Jam--Solid band, but they never approached the heights of "Ten" and "Vs."

Smashing Pumpkins--"Mellon Collie" was the hardest I've ever had to work to get through an album, but it was worth the trip.

Audioslave--Cornell and the guys from Rage are a good fit together, but I'd be surprised if they turn out anything close to what their former bands did.

Guns And Roses--Fucking awesome band...until Axl ran off Slash, then it all went straight to shit.

Velvet Revolver--The opposite of Audioslave, I see them transcending G'n'R and STP over and over again...as long as Weiland stays out of fucking rehab.

Marilyn Manson--Did what good rock 'n' roll artists are supposed to do: piss your parents off, and he does it better than anyone. Didn't care for the first two albums much, but I loved Mechanical Animals.

Faith No More--Deserved to be remembered for much more than just "Epic."

U2--Good band, but I get the feeling they take themselves a touch too seriously sometimes.

Libertines--Could be a really great band...if Pete can stay out of fucking rehab...or even stay IN fucking rehab.

System Of A Down--Can't stand Serj's singing.

The Smiths--Another band that died too soon because people couldn't get along...shame, that.

Morrissey--Could someone please tell this man a joke?

Foo Fighters--More pop than rock, but decent enough stuff.

Snoop Dogg--Not nearly as potent when he's not with Dre.

Eminem--One of the only rappers who can talk about something other than boning ho's and how dope are his flows. :shifty: Love him.

Ja Rule--Fucking poser.

Jay-Z--Lots of gangsta posturing, but he sounds good doing it, at least.

Tupac--At times poetry, at times trash. My question is: how much fucking material can they dig up?!?! Waiting for his mom to release an album of Tupac's Greatest Shits or something.

Eric Clapton--Not quite God, but closer than most of the idiots that call themselves guitarists today.

Norah Jones--One of the warmest voices I've heard in a long time.

Bob Dylan--Makes you think, and that's rare these days.

Nine Inch Nails--Hard AND poetic...Trent's one of the best ever.

David Gray--Vastly underrated.

Depche Mode--Some spectacular singles.

Coldplay--Helping limp-wristed geeks play sensitive and get laid since 1998.

Stone Temple Pilots--Better than just the Pearl Jam rip-offs they were thought to be...and "Sour Girl" is one of my Top 100 ever.

Bush--Can't get into them, no matter how hard I've tried.

Slipknot--Mindless noise.

The Clash--A big fucking middle finger to the upper classes.

The Sex Pistols--Noise, yes, but at least it had a point somewhere.

Green Day--Good to see a pop-punk band grow up.

Beastie Boys--Made it far beyond rap, damn near to a genre all their own. Great stuff.

Notorious B.I.G--Told some stories. A great one.

RATM--Our generation's answer to the Clash.
