  • 2 weeks later...

From PittsburghIndy.com...

Once again Pittsburgh Indy Super fan Barry F. checks in with the results from SCCW's "Spyral Comes Home".

I arrived at the show later than usual, about 10 minutes before bell time. The crowd was pumped for the show. I don't know if it was the returning Spyral, a beloved Pittsburgh wrestler, or for BattleBowl. But either way the crowd was jacked. I took my usual back row seat with my friends and had just enough time to get some food before the show started.

"Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple began to play, and "the Franchise" Shane Douglas came out to the ring. The crowd was as always appreciative of his efforts and showed their appreciation accordingly. He gets in the ring and takes the microphone from Hank Hudson, before Hank can even do the proper introductions.

Douglas: Thank you, all of you. Tonight's show is entitled "Spyral Comes Home" for that reason...tonight, one of the first wrestlers to really make a name for themselves out of the Pittsburgh area, and in fact...this very building, returns for one night only to take on SCCW Champion AJ Styles for the title! If Spyral wins, he has permission from Ohio Valley Wrestling to return and defend the title every two weeks. But also making tonight special, is the very first SCCW BATTLEBOWL! During the week I created teams I thought would be intriguing. And tonight those 8 teams will battle in tag team matches, and the four winning teams will head into the BattleBowl match in which the 8 participants will be eliminated by either pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope until there is ONE man remaining. And that man will meet AJ Styles, or Spyral, or WHOMEVER the SCCW Champion may be one month from tonight...July 9, 2005 for the SCCW Championship!

DA NA NA NAAA DA NA NA NA NAAAAA. DA NA NA NAAAA DA NA NA NA NAAAA. "The Final Countdown" by Europe hits and "#1" Daron Smythe struts out to the ring in his tights and a jean jacket vest. Daron climbs into the ring, walks up to Shane Douglas, and takes the mic from Douglas' hand.

Smythe: Shaaaane Douglas. The Franchiiise. Nice seein' you here.

Douglas: What do you want Daron?

Smythe: Me? Oh, nothing. I just want to come out here and let everyone know that they are looking at the winner of tonight's BattleBowl.

Douglas: The winner?

Smythe: Oh yeah! The winner! And in fact, I'm so confident, that if I don't win tonight, one month from tonight I will come out to the ring, and sign a contract stating that I will never EVER get another SCCW title shot. Ever.

Douglas: ...

Smythe: Ever.

Douglas: Then you better hope you win...because I will hold you to it!

Smythe: I'LL HOLD YOU TO IT!

Douglas: What?

Smythe: I'm gonna win.

"The Final Countdown" plays and Daron Smythe heads to the back. Douglas shakes his head, and then he hands the mic over to Hank Hudson and then exits the ring.

Hudson: With that out of the way wrestling fans, allow me to welcome you all to STEEL CITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLIIING!!! Tonight in addition to the BattleBowl, and the return of Spyral...you will see a big handicap match between the Tri Chi's and the Cleveland Connection and DUH! Also, Super Hentai puts his mask on the line in exchange for a shot at the SCCW Three Rivers Championship. If Super Hentai loses, he must take off his mask! And now...ladies and gentlemen, wrestling fans of all ages...Are each and every one of you ready? For some KNOCK DOWN, DRAG OUT, PILLAR TO POST, WALL TO WALL, ROCK EM SOCK EM, EXTREME, HARDCORE, KICK BUTT WRESTLINGLETSHEARIT?!?!?

The crowd pops and the bell rings for our opening contest.

"Beach Patrol" by Hulk Hogan & The Wrestling Boot Band hits and the crowd is confused until "Wonderman" Glenn Spectre comes out from behind the curtain. He gets into the ring and poses. Then INXS' "I Need You Tonight" blares from the speaker and "The Spotlight" Scottie Gash comes strutting out to the ring. Gash gets into the ring. Glenn Spectre and Gash don't exactly look thrilled to be in the same ring together. Then "Personal Jesus" by Lollipop Lustkill hits and Sterling James Keenan makes his way out to the ring. He gets in the ring and taunts Gash and Spectre and referee Bruce Gray has to make sure they don't fight at all before the bell rings. Then "Kano's Time" by Thug-X hits and Kano makes his way out to the ring to be Sterling's partner.

****Kano starts off in the ring with Scottie Gash. Gash and Kano lock up to start with Kano applying a side headlock. Gash shoves Kano off and into the ropes. Kano bounces off the ropes and Gash hits a big clothesline. Gash picks Kano up and attempts a piledriver, but Kano back body drops hims. Kano picks Gash up and hits a short-arm clothesline. Kano tags in Sterling James Keenan. SJK comes in and as soon as Gash gets up SJK hits a clothesline. Gash pops up, and SJK hits a snap mare. SJK locks on a side headlock. Gash gets worn down in the rest hold, and then eventually fights out of it and into a wristlock from the mat. Gash wrangles around and picks SJK up. Gash whips SJK into the ropes and hits a Thesz press. Gash tags out to Glenn Spectre who slaps Gash on the ass on his way in. Gash is pissed off as Spectre gets into the ring. Spectre goes at SJK and attempts a running knee lift, but SJK trips Spectre up. SJK chokes Spectre until Gray pulls him off. SJK picks Spectre up and whips him into the ropes. Kano hits Spectre in the back with a knee and Spectre stumbles forward in pain. SJK kicks Spectre in the stomach and hits a brainbuster. SJK covers Spectre, but Gash comes in and breaks the count. Kano runs in and clotheslines Gash to the outside. Kano then leaps through the ropes and hits a suicide dive on Gash. In the ring SJK hits a Northern Lights suplex on Spectre to get the three.****

After the match Spectre and Gash were arguing and Gash laid Spectre out with a clothesline from behind. Heh...from behind.

After everyone clears the ring "I Will Be Heard" by Hatebreed hits and Dean Radford comes out to the ring along with Bubba the Bulldog, and Sebastian Dark. They get in the ring and stand in the middle of the ring. Dean Radford has an IWC shirt in his hand. Radford grabs the mic.

Radford: Tonight we're out here because we need an answer from Samu! So Samu, get out here right now!

"Killing Box" by Anthrax hits and Samu and Jimmy Vegas come out to the ring. They set foot in the ring. Dean Radford hands Samu the IWC shirt, but before he can put it on BIGG comes running down the aisle with a chair. He slides in cracks Sebastian Dark with the chair. Dark flies over the top and to the outside. Bigg clotheslines Bubba the Bulldog and everyone runs off. Bigg grabs the mic that Radford dropped.

Bigg: VEGAS! I want a match! No...A FIGHT!

Samu comes in from behind Bigg and stands there, doing something with his hands I can't see from where I'm sitting. Bigg turns around and Samu throws fire in his face. Bigg hits the mat and holds his face screaming in agony. Pleased with almost killing Bigg, Samu heads to the back with the IWC brethren looking on.

The SCCW doctor and SCCW Officials come out and help Bigg. They take him to the back, and then "Ride Of The Valkryies" hits and Scott Venom makes his way out to the ring accompanied by All Business Brant. He gets in the ring and yells at the crowd for booing him. Then "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC hits and the crowd pops as Brandon K struts out to the ring. He gets in the ring and offers Scott Venom a handshake. Venom goes to shake his hand, then stops and gives him the finger. "99 Problems" by 50 Cent hits and "Hot Property" Jason Cage comes out to the ring. He climbs in the ring and begins exchanging words with Brandon K. Referee Kevin Tressler keeps them apart as "The Final Countdown" plays and "#1" Daron Smythe comes out to the ring to a chorus of boos. Smythe hits the ring and the bell rings to start the match.

****Venom hits Brandon K from behind knocking him right into Daron Smythe. Smythe catches Brandon K with a fisherman's hook brainbuster. Scott Venom leaves the ring and on the outside is paid by BC Steele. Smythe picks Brandon K up and whips him into the corner where Jason Cage grabs Brandon and chokes him. Smythe comes over to the corner and Cage lets go. Smythe kicks Brandon K in the stomach repeatedly, then tags in Cage. Cage comes in and whips Brandon K to the opposite corner. Brandon bounces off the turnbuckles and Jason Cage hits a belly-to-belly overhead release suplex. Cage mounts Brandon and hammers away on him with right hands. Cage picks Brandon up by the head and pulls him into the corner and tags Daron Smythe. Smythe comes in and hits a hiptoss on K. Brandon K gets up and Daron Smythe hits a clothesline on him. Brandon K tries to roll to the outside to recover, and Daron Smythe drags him back in. He whips Brandon K into the ropes, and tries to hit a clothesline, but Brandon K ducks. Daron Smythe turns around and Brandon K hits a chinbuster. Smythe bounces back and Brandon K clotheslines him over the top rope and then knocks Jason Cage off the apron too. Brandon K waits for Daron Smythe to stand up outside and hits a baseball slide. Daron Smythe gets knocked back into the barricade. Brandon K goes to the outside and rolls Smythe back into the ring. He gets in and picks Smythe up, and hits a piledriver. Brandon K covers Smythe, but Jason Cage runs in and breaks the count. Brandon K chases Cage back to the outside. Cage turns around and Smythe kicks him in the stomach and he hits a ddt on K. Daron Smythe covers him, but Brandon K kicks out on two. Daron Smythe tags in Jason Cage. Cage climbs to the top turnbuckle and he leaps down on top of Brandon K with a flying crossbody, but Brandon K rolls it over and manages to get a two count. Brandon K picks Cage up, but Daron Smythe tries to get into the ring, distracting referee Kevin Tressler. This allows BC Steele to sneak in the ring with his clipboard. Brandon K turns around and Steele goes to hit him with the clipboard, but K catches his arm. Brandon K picks Steele up and is about to hit the K-Driver (Michinoku Driver) on Steele, but Jason Cage low blows Brandon, causing him to drop Steele. BC Steele rolls out of the ring, and Jason Cage takes the clipboard and smacks K in the face with it. Cage hands the clipboard back to BC Steele, and then he covers Brandon K. Smythe gets back to the apron, and the referee turns around and counts the three.****

"Perfect Strangers" hits and PCA Shane Douglas comes out to the ring again. BC Steele is still on his way to the back, but Shane stops him and tells him to get back in the ring. BC Steele unwillingly complies and gets in the ring.

Douglas: BC Steele, I'm just putting this out there...letting you know, that I have been trying to contact the SCCW Tag Team Champions Youth Gone Wild for weeks now, and I have yet to hear back from them. Well being as you're their manager, I figured who better to contact them than you! So you see Steele, in two weeks time, Youth Gone Wild better be at the arena, they better have the SCCW Tag Team titles with them, and they better defend those titles against whatever team I see fit. And if they do not, not only will they be stripped of the SCCW Tag Team Championship, but they will be FIRED from SCCW and YOU, Mr. Steele will be suspended for one month without pay! So you BETTER get on the phone and get them here.

BC Steele looks confident as he leaves the ring and heads to the back. Shane Douglas soon follows.

"Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys hits and Sabotage comes out to the ring to a mixed reaction. He jumps into the ring and stretches a bit as "Tearing Away" by Drowning Pool hits and Adam Cage comes out to the ring accompanied by Stacy Hunter. The crowd boos both of them as they get into the ring. They argue with Sabotage and referee Steve Colter makes sure they don't come to blows. "Don't Damn Me" by Guns N' Roses plays and Dirk Ciglar runs out to the ring, he slides in and poses and taunts the crowds. "Natural High" by The Union Underground hits and SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "Mr. 21st Century" Chris Taylor comes out with the Brass Knuckles title around his waist and Krystol Frost on his arm. Taylor gets in the ring, stands in the middle of the ring and poses. He takes his title off from around his waist and gives it to Krystol Frost.

****The match starts off with Adam Cage in the ring with Dirk Ciglar. Ciglar and Cage lock up. Ciglar whips Cage into the ropes, Cage comes off and Ciglar leap frogs him. Cage turns around and gets a reverse ddt on Ciglar. Cage covers Ciglar, but gets a one count. Cage picks Ciglar up and goes for a suplex, but Ciglar blocks it. Ciglar blocks another suplex, then Cage finally gets Ciglar up, but Ciglar slides down Cage's back and dropkicks him in the back. Cage gets catapulted into the corner, and tags in Sabotage. Sab jumps over the top rope and into the ring. Dirk Ciglar tries to grapple Sabotage, but Sabotage ducks it and hits a spinning heel kick on Ciglar. Sabotage picks Ciglar back up and hits a snap suplex. Sabotage pulls Ciglar over into his team's corner and tags in Cage. Cage tries to punch Ciglar, but Ciglar shoves Cage and Cage staggers back into Sabotage, and elbows him in the face. Sabotage gets mad and shoves Cage. Cage turns around and Dirk Ciglar hits a side suplex. Ciglar tags in Chris Taylor. Taylor comes in and Cage is crawling over to Sabotage. Chris Taylor grabs his leg and pulls him into the center of the ring and smashes Cage's knee off the mat. Cage kicks Taylor backwards, gets up and tackles him. Cage picks Taylor up and piledrives him into the mat. Cage walks over to Sabotage and slaps him in the face as a way to tag him in. Sabotage quickly tags Cage back and then jumps down from the apron. Sabotage tosses the time keeper off his chair and takes it. Sabotage slides into the ring and as Adam Cage and Chris Taylor exchange right hands, Sabotage cracks Cage in the back of the head with the chair. Cage staggers forward into a small package for the three count.****

Kingdom James is out next. He climbs into the ring and is ready to go.

Kingdom: At this time, I'd like to bring out a man who is responsible for one of the matches we're going to see tonight. At this time, please welcome "The New Face" Jason Gory!

"Anthem For The Year 2000" by Silverchair plays and Jason Gory comes out to the ring. He slides in and stands next to Kingdom.

Kingdom: Jason, some say that tonight's Mask Vs. Title match is taking place tonight because of you. As we saw last week, Super Hentai was NOT going to accept the match until Devil Bhudakahn laid a severe beating on you, Hentai's number one student. And now tonight Hentai may lose his mask, his identity.

Gory: I never meant for it to get to this! I wish it never got this far! But you know what? It did. When two men hate each other as much as Hentai and Devil do, something like this was bound to happen. But rest assured, Super Hentai has done a lot for me. I mean without him, it's safe to say I wouldn't be here and be as good as I am today. So you can bet that I'm going to do whatever I can to ensure a Super Hentai victory tonight!

"Anthem For The Year 2000" plays and Jason Gory heads to the back. Kingdom James soon follows as "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed hits and the crowd pops as Crusher Hansen comes out to the ring. He makes it halfway to the ring when Shirley Doe comes out and attacks. Doe throws Crusher into the steel ring post, busting Crusher open.  Doe knocks Crusher down and then grabs a chair from around the ring and begins to smash Crusher in the back with it. SCCW Officials rush out to break up the fight, but the damage has already been done as an already injured Crusher Hansen has to be helped to the back. Referee Shawn Patrick talks to ring announcer Hank Hudson.

Hudson: Ladies and gentlemen I have just been informed by SCCW Senior Referee Shawn Patrick that due to the fact that Crusher Hansen cannot compete tonight...Shawn Patrick is awarding this BattleBowl match to the team of Justin Idol and Tyrone Evans!

Winners by forfeit: Justin Idol & Tyrone Evans to advance to the BattleBowl match.

"Let's Get Retarded" by The Black Eyed Peas hits and DUH, Kid Cupid, Dash Bennett and "Syko" Sean Dahmer come out to the ring. They get in and prepare for their 5-on-2 handicap match. The Cleveland Connection, as per the rules of the match handcuff the Frat Girls to the bottom rope on their side of the ring and then give the key to the cuffs to referee Harold Potter. The crowd boos the Cleveland Connection as they taunt the crowd. Just then..."MMMMM...BEER!" "Louie Louie" by The Kingsmen hits and the Tri Chi's Hammer and Blitzz come out to a huge pop. They run down to the ring and slide in and DUH and the Cleveland Connection bail out. The Tri Chi's back off and wait for their opponents to get up on the apron so the match can begin.

Abdul Hassan picks Blitzz up and sets him up for a piledriver. Hassan tags in Kid Cupid and yells for Cupid to help him spike Blitzz down. Cupid refuses. Hassan yells at him even louder, and still Cupid refuses. Dick Trimmins tags himself in and then spikes the piledriver sending Blitzz's head straight down onto the mat. The Cleveland Connection then begin to berate Cupid on the outside. Trimmins picks Blitzz up and tags in Dash Bennett. Bennett comes in and levels Blitzz with a European uppercut. He hits him with so much force it sends Blitzz into the ropes. Sean Dahmer holds Blitzz up and Dash Bennett runs at him, Dash attempts a clothesline, but Blitzz manages to get loose and move, Dash Bennett runs into Sean Dahmer knocking him off the apron and to the floor. Blitzz waits for Dash to turn around and then kicks him in the stomach. Blitzz hits a desperation ddt, and then collapses onto the mat. The Frat Girls are doing their best to try and fire the crowd up, and it's working as the crowd is very hot. They begin a "Blitzz" chant. Blitzz is stirring, as is Dash Bennett. Bennett tags in Abdul Hassan, and just before Blitzz can make the tag, Hassan punches Hammer, and Hammer tries to come in after him, but Harold Potter holds him back. Hassan picks Blitzz up and calls Trimmins in. Hassan whips Blitzz towards Dick Trimmins who gets a huge spinebuster. Hassan claps his hands to simulate a tag. Hammer finally stands on the apron, Potter turns around and sees the cover but Blitzz kicks out on two. Trimmins picks Blitzz up and suplexes him down. Trimmins tags in Sean Dahmer again. Dahmer comes in and begins to choke Blitzz with his boot, using the ropes for leverage. Potter forces him to break the hold on five. Dahmer picks Blitzz up and sends him into the corner. Dahmer runs at him and hits a stinger splash. Dahmer tags in Kid Cupid. Cupid comes in and doesn't look like he wants to fight. The Cleveland Connection and DUH are yelling at Cupid to hit Blitzz. Cupid just stands there as Blitzz tries to pull himself up to his feet. Cupid finally yells "MOVE!" and runs at Blitzz. Blitzz falls out of the way and Cupid hits the turnbuckle. Blitzz crawls towards Hammer and DUH and the Connection are yelling at Cupid to stop Blitzz from tagging. Cupid finally tags in Dick Trimmins. Trimmins comes in, but as soon as he gets in the ring Blitzz is able to make the tag to Hammer. Hammer comes in like a house of fire and unloads with right hands on Dick Trimmins. The crowd goes nuts as Abdul Hassan jumps into the ring and gets tossed out by Hammer. Sean Dahmer runs in next and Hammer kicks him in the stomach and throws him between the ropes to the outside. Cupid and Dash Bennett get in next. Bennett yells at Cupid to go get Hammer, Cupid refuses. Harold Potter tries to get DUH out of the ring, but as he does so, Dick Trimmins gets up and Hammer whips him into the ropes, Potter is in the way and gets smashes between Trimmins and the ropes, falling to the mat. Trimmins comes back at Hammer and Hammer gets a back body drop. Sean Dahmer tosses a chair into the ring to Dash Bennett. Bennett goes to hit Hammer in the back of the head with the chair, but Kid Cupid grabs the chair. Bennett turns around and argues with him. Hammer turns around and pushes Bennett, and Bennett's face hits off the chair. The crowd pops big and Kid Cupid gets a huge smile on his face. Sean Dahmer runs in and Kid Cupid blasts him in the face with the chair. Hammer picks Dick Trimmins up and sets him in the corner. Hammer unloads with right hand after right hand to Trimmins' face. Abdul Hassan runs in and positions himself for a powerbomb on Hammer, but Kid Cupid hits Hassan in the ribs with the chair. Hassan doubles over in pain, and Blitzz stands up and ddts him. Hammer positions himself on the top rope for a bulldog, and Blitzz grabs Trimmins and sets him on his shoulders. Showing a massive display of strength, Blitzz is able to hold the 400+ lbs. Trimmins on his shoulders long enough for Hammer to come off with a big flying bulldog. Hammer covers Trimmins, and Kid Cupid revives Harold Potter. Potter sees the cover and begins to count. 1----2---3!!!*****

WINNERS: the Tri Chi Fraternity by pinfall at 14:35

MR: 76.2%

After the match DUH and the Cleveland Connection stagger to the back. Potter takes the key to the handcuffs and uncuffs the Frat Girls. They get in the ring and begin to hug and embrace the Tri Chi's as the crowd cheers wildly. The dancing stops when the Frat Girls and the Tri Chi's look over and see Kid Cupid standing in the middle of the ring. Hammer and Blitzz walk up to him and stare him down, then they extend their hands and say "thanks". Cupid looks at the crowd to gauge their reaction, and then he does it...he shakes the Tri Chi's hands! The crowd pops as "Louie Louie" hits and the Tri Chi's, the Frat Girls, and Kid Cupid dance and celebrate in the ring. They five people danced and celebrated for a few minutes and then Hank Hudson got on the mic and announced a short 10 minute intermission.

Back from intermission "Aerials" by System Of A Down hits and Nikita Allanov comes out to a big reaction. Allanov gets in the ring and Hank Hudson hands him the microphone.

Allanov: I came out here right now for one reason, and that reason is that I am a fighter. I like to fight, it's what I do. And I was unlucky enough to not get booked tonight, so I figured I'd come out here and issue an open challenge to anyone in SCCW who wants a match tonight!

"She Likes Me For Me" by Blessed Union Of Souls hits and The Virgin Suicides, Shiima Xion and Mike Preston, with manager Chris Maverick come out to the ring.

Maverick: Nikita Allanov, you've just signed your own death warrant. The Virgin Suicides are here to kick...your...ass!

TVS get in the ring and attack Allanov, but a clothesline and a t-bone suplex later and they are back on the outside. Allanov gestures for them to come back in, but from behind Allanov a fan wearing a mask jumps the barrier and clocks Allanov in the back of the head with a lead pipe. SCCW Security hits the ring and tackles the man down. The man wrangles himself free and takes his mask off. It's....JAKE GARRETT! He picks the microphone up.

Garrett: Nikita, this is the warning shot! The opening salvo! You see, IWC is sick and tired of letting PWX walk all over us! So this is a warning...tonight is the beginning of the end for PWX! Guerilla tactics, disguises...WHATEVER WE HAVE TO DO! Nikita...pass along the message! PWX IS DONE FOR!

Garrett drops the mic and heads to the back as Allanov lies motionless on the mat. SCCW Officials come out to check on him, and he eventually regains conciousness and walks under his own power to the back.

Hank Hudson: Ladies and gentlemen this next match is a special mask versus title match! If Super Hentai wins, he will be the SCCW Three Rivers Champion! However, if Devil Bhudakahn wins...Super Hentai must unmask, and hand his mask over to Devil Bhudakahn!

"Funeral Bell" by Black Label Society hits and Super Hentai runs out to a big pop. He gets in the ring and climbs up to the second rope and poses for the crowd. But the cheers would quickly turn to boos when "Mirror Mirror" by Blind Guardian hits and Devil Bhudakahn comes out without BC Steele. Bhudakahn walks slowly, almost stalkingly down to the ring. He slowly but surely climbs into the ring and hands his belt to SCCW Referee CJ Sensation. Sensation displays the belt for all to see.

****Devil and Hentai get in the middle of the ring and stare at each other. Hentai doesn't have to look up too far as Devil doesn't have much of a height advantage on him. Devil slaps Hentai and Hentai shoves him back. Devil lunges at Hentai and hits him with a big right hand, knocking Hentai down. Hentai pops right back up and Devil attempts a clothesline, but Hentai ducks it and hits a dropkick to Devil's back. Devil gets shoved into the ropes, and Hentai clotheslines him from behind, knocking him over the top rope and down to the floor. Devil chops Hentai in the chest a few time and then hits a monkey flip. Devil Bhudakahn goes over to Super Hentai and locks on an indian deathlock. Hentai pulls himself up, and Devil turns around and kicks Hentai in the left leg. Devil kicks him in the leg a few times to try and tighten up the muscle in the leg. Devil goes for another kick, but Hentai catches the leg and Devil attempts an enziguiri, but Hentai ducks. After the match, Devil Bhudakahn goes over to Super Hentai and takes his mask off. Devil holds it triumphantly over his head and then heads to the back with the mask and the title. Jason Gory and Super Hentai get up. Gory is apologizing profusely and Hentai just keeps saying "It's ok." Hentai and Gory head to the back to a good amount of cheers. As soon as they both get to the back "Hate To Say I Told You So" by The Hives hits and "Fabulous" John McChesney comes out to a chorus of boos. He gets in the ring and picks up a microphone.

Fabulous: For months, since SCCW opened, I've been sitting back...biding my time and trying to come up with a way to make an impact. Well I tried...and unfortunately, it didn't work. And I got injured! Well you wanna know what really chaps my ass?!?!? The fact that I am making my return to SCCW tonight...to no fanfare! Yet Spyral, a guy who basically sold out and turned his back on PWX and all you inbred redneck pieces of trash at the first sign of money and a Fed contract, gets a hero's welcome! And he's only coming back for a night! You all treat him like a hero! Well I'll tell you what...from now on, I...John McChesney will be your hero! I will be your idol! I will be your knight in shining armor, and for once I...FABULOUS JOHN McCHESNEY will live up to my name!

McChesney drops the mic and leaves the ring to a "SHUT UP ASSHOLE" chant. As he gets to the back Hank Hudson gets back in the ring.

Hudson: Wrestling fans, it is now time for the BATTLEBOWL MATCH! The rules are simple...the eight men who survived their earlier matches will all enter the ring at the same time, and in order to eliminated a competitor must either be pinned, made to submit, or be thrown over the top rope and have both of their feet hit the floor. The last man remaining in the match will face the SCCW Champion, whoever it may be ONE MONTH FROM TONIGHT! Live right here at the Sportatorium!

All eight participants in the match: Sterling James Keenan, Kano, Daron Smythe, Jason Cage, Dirk Ciglar, Chris Taylor, Justin Idol, and Tyrone Evans make their way to the ring.

****Each wrestler pairs off with someone and they each begin to fight. Daron Smythe nearly decapitates Kano with a sick clothesline. Tyrone Evans nearly tosses Dirk Ciglar out, but Ciglar catches himself on the apron. Ciglar gets up and shoulders Evans in the stomach. Ciglar climbs back in and attacks Tyrone Evans from behind. We have our first elimination of the match when Jason Cage is thrown out by Sterling James Keenan. Sterling James Keenan hits Tyrone with a clothesline from behind. Dirk Ciglar struggles to get up and Justin Idol catches him with a European uppercut that sends him into the ropes. Idol clotheslines him over the top and down to the floor. Dirk Ciglar becomes the third man out of BattleBowl. For the next five minutes the five remaining participants just brawl around the ring. SJK cleans house with dropkicks and clotheslines. Tyrone Evans gets up and hits a lariat on SJK. Chris Taylor then comes up from behind the Upgrade, and clips his knee. Evans goes down clutching his knee as Chris Taylor stomps away on it. Justin Idol grabs Taylor from behind and hits a German suplex. Idol only gets a two count however when Daron Smythe makes the save. Sterling James Keenan is up and staggers into a brainbuster from Daron Smythe. Smythe covers him. 1--2--3! Sterling James Keenan is eliminated from BattleBowl! There were then four men remaining. They paired off like tag teams, Evans and Idol went up against Taylor and Smythe. Evans hit a powerslam on Chris Taylor, but couldn't get the three because of Daron Smythe. Justin Idol whipped Smythe into the corner, hit a Stinger Splash and then a running bulldog. Idol covers Smythe, but Smythe manages to kick out. Tyrone Evans attempts a gorilla press slam onto Chris Taylor, but Evans' knee gives out and he drops to the mat, dropping Taylor down to the mat unharmed. Taylor kicks Evans in the back of the head, and then locks on an STF. But Evans manages to power out of it and send Taylor into the ropes. Taylor and Smythe then spend the next few minutes wearing down Justin Idol and Tyrone Evans. Taylor grabs Idol for a piledriver and Smythe stands up on the second rope to spike the piledriver, but Idol blocks the piledriver and back body drops Taylor into the corner. Taylor hits the turnbuckle, and Smythe loses his balance and crotches the top turnbuckle. Justin Idol climbs up to the top rope, but Tyrone Evans shoves Justin Idol off the top and eliminates him. Tyrone Evans then poses for the crowd and superplexes Smythe off the top. Chris Taylor attacks Evans from behind and gets him down. Taylor picks Evans up and they exchange right hands. Taylor whips Evans into the ropes, and Smythe gets up. He shoves Taylor for knocking him down, and he pushes him out of the way and Tyrone Evans hits Smythe with a flying forearm, knocking him through the ropes and to the floor, but not over. Taylor kicks Evans in the stomach and hits a ddt. He covers Evans, but Evans kicks out. Taylor picks him up, but Evans gets a small package for the three count. Chris Taylor is eliminated from BattleBowl! And we're down to two. Daron Smythe climbs back in and he and Evans stand nose-to-nose. Smythe shoves Evans backwards, Evans shoves Smythe down. Smythe gets back up, only to be punched back down by a hard Tyrone Evans right hand. Smythe is up again and he runs at Evans, attempts a shoulderblock, but Evans doesn't flinch. Smythe tries it again, but Evans gets him with a big boot. Evans picks Smythe up, but Smythe hits a low blow. Evans bends over in pain and Smythe is able to get him in the head with a Yakuza Kick. HYPNOBANG! Daron Smythe covers Tyrone Evans. 1---2---3!!!****

After the match AJ and Spyral shake hands an embrace again, but then Dean Radford and Jake Garrett appear walking down the aisle to the ring.

Radford: You know...this...is a bunch...of...SHIT! The only reason Spyral's been accepted and welcomed back with open arms is because he's a PWX guy! If Dennis Gregory or Lou Marconi were to return no one would give a damn! But just because you're PWX! It's some big deal to these rednecks!

And with that Radford and Garrett run into the ring and battle with Spyral and AJ. Spyral and AJ fight them off with right hands and clotheslines. Spyral and AJ then pose in the ring to the crowd chanting "COME BACK SOON!" to Spyral. Then out of nowhere Daron Smythe hits the ring with a chair in hand. He swings and nails AJ in the back of the head with it. AJ falls forward, and Spyral grabs him...and plants him into the mat with an implant ddt! Spyral gets a huge smile on his face. He and Daron shake hands and stomp on AJ. They continue to punch and kick AJ until SCCW Officials run out to break up the beating. The crowd sits stunned as their hero Spyral and Daron Smythe head to the back together taunting the crowd and celebrating their successful plot.

  • 3 weeks later...

The next show will be up at the end of this week. I've been really busy with work, my band's concert and my girlfriend that I've only had time to write one or two segments a day.

So it'll be finished and up by the end of this week.

From PittsburghIndy.com...

Barry F checks in again, this time from SCCW's show at the Monroeville Sports Arena

Man what a show it looks like it's going to be. AJ Vs. CM Punk for the SCCW title should tear the house down. I arrived a few minutes later than normal, and just as I got to my seat "The Final Countdown" by Europe hit and the crowd booed massively as Daron Smythe walked out to the ring. You would've thought there 1,000+ people in the arena with the amount of heat he was getting.

Smythe climbs into the ring and grabs the microphone from Hank Hudson. Smythe doesn't start talking yet as a "You Suck" chant begins. Smythe waits for the chant to die down, but when he doesn't he talks anyway.

Smythe: SCCW Spyral Comes Home! Maybe they should've called it...Spyral Shocks The World! You see we had that planned for months! MONTHS! As soon as the show was announced, I called him up. We worked it out perfectly! And we shocked the world! So at this time...I'd like to call out the man who helped me perpetrate the greatest swerve in the history of Pittsburgh Independent Wrestling! I give you...SPYRAL!

"Ava Adore" by the Smashing Pumpkins hits and Spyral comes out of the curtain. The crowd is booing him too chanting "You Sold Out" at him. "And I'll pull your crooked teeth/You'll be perfect just like me". Spyral gets in the ring and the music stops. He grabs the mic from Daron Smythe as Smythe begins to bow to him.

Spyral: Just for the record...I didn't sell out! I just moved up! You see, I spent years wrestling in McKeesport in front of 200 or so fans, and 15 teeth! I spent years listening to drunk men and women try to pronounce my name...only to get confused by the Y. Spee...spooor...spur...spi...SPYRAL! The name is Spyral! And you all resent the fact that unlike any of you...I MADE IT OUT! I made it out of this shithole town! I moved on to Ohio Valley Wrestling! I'm one step away from the WWE! And yet...when I went to OVW, the OVW Superstars and fans found out that I'd wrestled here...and I was NEVER taken seriously because of it! Well I'm sick and tired of not being taken seriously! So screw it! Screw PWX! Screw this town! Screw you fans! Screw AJ Styles! And SCREW SCCW!

"Perfect Strangers" hits and SCCW PCA Shane Douglas comes out. He walks slowly to the ring. He has his own microphone.

Douglas: You guys must find yourselves absolutely hilarious!

Smythe nods his head.

Douglas: ...but I don't find you very funny at all! In fact...I find you two absolutely dispicable! And because of that...I am adding Spyral to the Daron Smythe/Sabotage match.

Smythe: Excuse me Shane, but I think if you make it a handicap match...we'll kill him! He'll die!

Douglas: That's why it's not going to be a handicap match! We're going to have ourselves a Dream Partner Tag Match! Sabotage can pick any wrestler on the SCCW Roster to be his teammate tonight! So you two best go to the back, and get ready.

"Perfect Strangers" hits again and Shane Douglas turns around and goes to the back. Spyral and Daron Smythe head to the back.

"Natural High" by The Union Underground hits and SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion Chris Taylor comes out to the ring with Krystol Frost by his side. Taylor gets on the mic and gets ready to speak.

Taylor: Well since the higher-ups here in SCCW decided not to give me an opponent I decided that I would take advantage and not defend the belt tonight. But then I realized, I'd be the only champion NOT defending his title here tonight...and if there's one thing Chris Taylor is...it's a fighting champion! So I'm gonna make some lucky punk's day. Because the next person to walk out through that curtain is the man, woman or child that I will defend my title against.

On cue, "The Upgrade" Tyrone Evans steps out from behind the curtain and Chris Taylor's jaw drops. He begins to shake his head.

Taylor: I said the 2nd person, yeah, the 2nd person!

Evans slowly walks into the ring, and then slowly walks right up to Taylor, getting right in his face.

Evans: Come on Chris, what's wrong? You too much of a pussy or something?

Taylor: Well...you are what you eat! I mean...NO!

Evans: Then come on...put the belt on the line tonight, punk!

Taylor: FINE OK! YOU GOT A TITLE SHOT!

Just then Krystol Frost hits a low blow on Evans from behind. Evans doubles over in pain, and Chris Taylor cracks Evans in the face with the SCCW Brass Knuckles title belt, busting Tyrone Evans open. Chris Taylor stares down at him, and picks the mic back up.

Taylor: Oh yeah...and it's gonna be a FIRST BLOOD MATCH! Hahahahaha!

He helps Bennett up, and then Bennett climbs back up to the apron. Bennett tries to suplex Kid Cupid to the outside, and the crowd laughs at the attempt. Dash holds his back in pain and looks at Cupid and yells "LAY OFF THE TWINKIES!" to get a small chuckle from the fans. Bennett finally gets back in the ring and Kid Cupid hits a hip toss. Bennett stands up and Cupid "charges" at him, but Bennett moves and Cupid keeps running into the ropes. Kingdom: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time...true wrestling legends! Please welcome...THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!

The Midnight Express, Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey come out to the ring to a nice reaction. The get in the ring and are ready to be interviewed.

Kingdom: Bobby, Dennis...I couldn't help but realize you two were here in the building. On the same show in which Shane Douglas has stated that Youth Gone Wild must defend their tag titles, are you the team he chose to wrestle for the titles?

Eaton: In a word...no. We're simply here as invited guests of SCCW and we're here to have a good time and watch a great wrestling show. We're having a great time so far here tonight.

Eaton spoke too soon as "Nymphetimine" by Cradle Of Filth hits and The Virgin Suicides run down to the ring. They get in the ring and attack the Midnight Express. They come out to the ring and the crowd is going nuts. BC Steele grabs the microphone.

Steele: Woah woah woah, we never agreed to this!

Eric Extasy rips the mic out of Steele's hand.

Extasy: You don't really have a choice. Shane Douglas already signed the match. You either defend the belts or forfeit the titles! You see after our last encounter you guys tried going back to Harrisburg, you tried hiding. Well you can't hide anymore!

Just then "Balls Hot" Troy Lords attacks Youth Gone Wild. The bell rings and the match begins with all four men in the ring.

After the match Sexual Harrassment celebrates their victory as Youth Gone Wild heads to the back defeated and dejected. Sexual Harrassment leaves the ringside area too and then "Be All End All" by Anthrax hits and SCCW Three Rivers Champion Devil Bhudakahn comes out to the ring with Super Hentai's mask in his hand.

Devil: I hold in my hand...evidence that you cannot beat the Devil! No matter how hard Super Hentai tried...he could not beat me! I own his mask! And I own his soul!

"Anthem For The Year 2000" by Silverchair hits and "the New Face" Jason Gory runs out to the ring. He gets in the ring and gets in Devil's face.

Gory: You own Hentai? PLEASE! Seriously Devil, I've about had it with you! You wouldn't have beaten Hentai had I not accidentally cost him the match! So I'll tell you what...at Summer Scorcher, give me a shot to win Hentai's mask back for him. Give me a chance to win the mask, and I'll give you a chance to end my career.

"Funeral Bell" by Black Label Society hits and Hentai makes his way out sans mask. He gets in the ring and pulls Gory out of Devil's face. He whispers something in Gory's ear, and tries to get him to leave.

Gory: No Hentai...I want this. I'm doing this!

Devil: Maybe you should listen to Hentai young man. Maybe you shouldn't do this. Because not only will it mean you're gonna have to retire, but when I get through with you...you might not even be able to walk. Ever again. Don't think I'm gonna take it easy on ya, kid. I'm gonna cripple you!

Gory: Well that's a chance I'll just have to take! Hentai, I'm getting your mask...your identity back for you! You're on Devil!

And with that Devil Bhudakahn leaves the ring with the mask and the Three Rivers title. Hentai continues to try to talk Gory out of it as they walk to the back.

Allanov walks down the aisle, and gets in the ring. He just stands there and stares at McChesney as the bell rings.

****Allanov stares down McChesney. Fabulous walks cautiously up to Allanov, and when he gets close, Allanov raises his fist like he's going to hit McChesney, causing him to flinch and fall backwards. McChesney pleads with referee Bruce Gray, stating that Allanov's actions were illegal, but Gray disagrees. McChesney walks up to Allanov again, and challenges him to a good old fashion test-of-strength. Allanov laughs at McChesney's offer, but eventually engages in a KNUCKLELOCK~! Allanov easily wins the battle and has McChesney begging for mercy within seconds. Allanov then whips McChesney into the ropes and hits a shoulderblock on Fabulous. McChesney hits the mat hard and pounds the mat in frustration. McChesney gets to his feet and walks right up to Allanov and begins to talk trash. McChesney SLAPS Allanov and Allanov just goes nuts. "Upgrade Ya Life" by The Steel City Rhythm Company hits and "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans runs out to the ring. He gets a huge pop when he comes out. He gets in the ring and stretches and runs off the ropes. Then "Natural High" by The Union Underground hits and SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "Mr. 21st Century" Chris Taylor makes his way out with Krystol Frost on his arm.

****As soon as Taylor drops the mic Evans attacks to a big pop. Referee Bryce Remsburg calls for the bell to ring and the match officially begins. Taylor still has the belt around his waist as Evans whips him into the ropes and comes back at him with a flying forearm. Evans then rips the belt from around Taylor's waist and hoists it high above his head. The crowd pops at the sight of Evans holding the belt. Evans drops the belt and picks Taylor up. He sends Taylor with an irish whip into the corner. Taylor hits the turnbuckle hard and the impact sends him staggering forward into a big Tyrone Evans lariat. Krystol Frost jumps up on the apron and takes a swing at Evans, but he grabs her arm and she backs off the apron in fear. Meanwhile Chris Taylor is recovering and when Tyrone Evans turns around and bends down to pick Taylor up, he gets a chop to the throat of Evans. Evans mounts Taylor and opens up on him with stiff right hands to the face. Evans then picks Taylor up and drags him by the hair over to the ropes. Upgrade picks Taylor up and snake eyes him onto the top rope. Evans then tosses Taylor over and to the outside. Krystol Frost grabs the Brass Knuckles title and as soon as Tyrone Evans comes out to beat on Chris Taylor, she nails him with the belt. Evans staggers forward, but quickly turns around towards Krystol and no sells the shot to the head and then chases Frost around the ring. This allows Chris Taylor to position himself and absolutely level Tyrone Evans with a sick spear as Evans runs around the corner on the outside. Taylor goes under the ring and pulls out a chain. Taylor begins to choke Evans with the chain, and since it's a first blood match, it's totally legal. Evans is about to pass out when he runs at the steel post and then ducks, sending Chris Taylor right into the turnbuckle. Referee Bryce Remsburg checks Taylor for blood, but he's not bleeding yet. Taylor hits the post and falls to the ground. Tyrone Evans punches him in the face again a few times when Krystol Frost jumps on Evans' back. Evans snap mares her over and then knocks her down. Meanwhile Chris Taylor is able to recover a little bit and hits a low blow on Evans. Taylor grabs a table from under the ring and sets it up. Evans and Taylor then exchange right hands on the outside. Evans kicks Taylor in the stomach and hits a ddt onto the concrete. Krystol Frost distracts the referee, and as Chris Taylor gets up we see that he is bleeding. Krystol Frost "accidentally" trips Bryce Remsburg and then "accidentally" kicks him in the face. Tyrone Evans picks Taylor up and puts him on the table. He goes up onto the apron, and attempts an elbow drop off the apron, but Taylor moves and Tyrone Evans goes through the table. The table splinters in half and Tyrone Evans is laying in the middle of it. Krystol Frost takes her long leather duster off and hands it to Chris Taylor. Taylor covers his face with it. Remsburg is up and so is Tyrone Evans. Evans has apparently been cut by the table. Remsburg sees the blood dripping from Evans' arm and rings the bell.****

"99 Problems" by 50 Cent hits and "Hot Property" Jason Cage comes out to the ring wearing street clothes with a microphone in hand.

Cage: I've sat in the back and watched as old wrestlers with tired gimmicks and overused finishing moves come out and struggle to entertain you people. Well I got to thinking. You know what SCCW needs? FRESH BLOOD! And so I've decided...I have a few friends, who are just about to finish training to become wrestlers. Well at Summer Scorcher in two weeks...I'm starting a revolution! Stay tuned...because this whole thing is just about to get started!

Cage leaves the ring to next to no reaction. He gets behind the curtain and ring announcer Hank Hudson announces that it is now time for the Dream Partner Tag Team Match! "The Final Countdown" hit and "#1" Daron Smythe came out to a lot of heat. The white trash in the audience nearly rioted when he and BC Steele came out. They got in the ring and posed and the crowd started a very creative "you suck" chant. Then Marilyn Manson's "Coma White" hit and Spyral walked cockily out to the ring. He taunted the crowd as he slowly walked into the ring. He got in the ring and he and Smythe shook hands. "Swamped" by Lacuna Coil hit and Sabotage came out of the curtain. He got halfway to the ring then stopped and pointed to the back. Just then "Diary" by Iced Earth hits and "the Aerial Icon" Justin Idol comes out to a huge pop. ****Spyral and Smythe play a game of paper, rock, scissors to determine who starts the match, and Smythe loses. He starts off in the ring with Justin Idol. Idol and Smythe stand in the middle of the ring and talk trash towards one another. The crowd begins to chant "Kick his ass Justin". Smythe pushes Idol, and Idol shoves back. Smythe taunts Sabotage and then kicks him in the face. Sabotage tries to use the ropes to pull himself up, but every time he almost has himself up, Smythe sweeps his legs out from under him and knock him back down. This happens a few times, and then Sabotage manages to jump over Smythe's leg and chop him in the chest. The hard chop sends Smythe reeling backwards and sends Sabotage on the attack. He has Smythe in the corner and he lights him up with chops and karate kicks to the midsection. Sabotage then climbs to the second turnbuckle to unleash ten (thousand) fists down onto Daron Smythe's face, but Smythe grabs Sabotage by the legs, walks forward and drops Sab face first down onto the top turnbuckle. Sabotage crumples up in the corner and Smythe tags in Spyral. Spyral grabs Sabotage and hits a bulldog on him, then covers him, but Justin Idol is in to break the count on two. Referee Harold Potter forces Idol to get back to the apron, and misses Spyral choking Sabotage. Potter turns around, and sees the choke and forces Spyral to break it. Spyral does and then pulls Sab over to his corner. Spyral tags in Daron Smythe who comes off the top rope down onto Sabotage with a double axe handle. Daron Smythe then proceeds to use his shin to choke Sabotage. Potter forces Smythe to break the choke on the count of four. Smythe picks Sabotage up and hits a snap suplex, followed by another. Smythe then picks Sabotage up and holds him up and tags in Spyral. Smythe drops to one knee, and drapes Sabotage over the knee. Spyral goes to the top, and comes off hitting a twisting legdrop on Sabotage. Spyral picks Sabotage up and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Sab just falls straight down. Spyral goes over to pick him up, but Sabotage is able to get an elbow to Spyral's stomach, and hit a desperation ddt. The crowd pops and cheers as both Spyral and Sabotage are down. They begin to chant Sabotage's name as he begins to stir and crawl towards his corner. Spyral gets up and runs over to grab Sabotage's leg, but it's too late and he tags in Justin Idol. Idol covers him, but Daron Smythe breaks the count up on two. While Harold Potter attempts to get Smythe back to the apron, BC Steele cracks Idol in the head with his clipboard. Idol seems unhurt, but is distracted. He grabs Steele and holds his arm up to punch him, but Spyral clips Idol's knee. Idol hits the mat holding his knee in pain, and Spyral tags in Smythe. Idol tries to crawl to Sabotage, but cannot make it before Smythe pulls him to the center of the ring. Smythe tries to lock on a figure four leglock, but Idol manages to somehow kick him off. Smythe goes flying into the corner, and Idol tags in Sabotage. Stinger splash by Sabotage! Smythe stumbles forward and Sabotage manages to hit a superkick. BC Steele jumps up on the apron and distracts the referee. Meanwhile, Stacy Hunter, Adam Cage and Kano Carter come out to ringside. Adam Cage has a chair in hand. Sabotage runs off the ropes to attempt a move on a dazed Daron Smythe, but Adam Cage cracks him in the back of the head with the chair. The three then leave as Sabotage falls face first to the mat holding the back of his head. Daron Smythe rolls Sab over, and covers him. 1---2---3!!!****

After the match the brawl continues as CM Punk and AJ Styles just stand around looking pissed off. Just then "Perfect Strangers" hits and Shane Douglas comes out of the back and stands in the aisle. The brawling stops as Douglas takes the mic.

Douglas: Dammit! You assholes just ruined a five star classic match! You just...DAMMIT! You know what I am so sick and tired of all this fighting between the IWC and PWX! That's it! At Summer Scorcher, we're gonna end this! There's gonna be a Best-Of-3 Falls contest between PWX and IWC. Each side shall pick 3 men. And I will choose who wrestles who...and the side that wins 2 out of the 3 matches will get to select the #1 contender for the SCCW Heavyweight Championship!

And with that Douglas left the ring, then the IWC guys, then the PWX guys and then Sean Patrick...leaving AJ Styles and CM Punk standing in the ring. AJ Styles grabbed the microphone.

AJ: CM Punk...man you had me. It's a shame the match couldn't have had a decision. But I'll tell you what...the next time you're here...I'll gladly put the belt on the line against you. Any night of the week, man. Thanks for the great match!

Ok...so the diary is back. But there has been a change.

SCCW has gone through a TIME WARP.

Due to being ass-busy all August, I couldn't update.

So I've figured I'll pick up where I left off...but I'm gonna get the diary up to date. To give it a "Real Time" feel, hopefully.

Summer Scorcher, the last card I was supposed to post, for all intents and purposes, took place last night. And here's a rundown of what happened:

From PittsburghIndy.com...

Segment 1: Kingdom James runs down the card. But then John McChesney comes out. He's enraged that he hasn't been booked on the show, so he tries to take it out on Kingdom, but Kingdom fights back and runs McChesney off.

Segment 2: SCCW Heavyweight Title Match: AJ Styles © Vs. CM Punk. Winner: AJ Styles by pinfall. CM Punk goes for the Pepsi Plunge, but AJ turns it into a Super Styles Clash for the win.

Segment 3: The Short Bus with Kid Cupid: Cupid comes out in a toga...he's now known as Cupo. And his segment is now the Frat House. His guests this week, Scott Venom and All Business Brant, Better Than You. They come out and claim that they are sick and tired of not being booked, and they are gonna take matters into their own hands. They destroy Cupid's set and back him into the corner, ready to beat him down until the Tri Chi's hit the ring and force them to flee.

Segment 4: NO DQ: Adam Cage Vs. Sabotage. WINNER: Adam Cage by pinfall after Kano Carter and Stacy Hunter interfere.

Segment 5: Kingdom James interviews Daron Smythe, he's confident that he'll beat AJ Styles for the SCCW Heavyweight Title tonight.

Segment 6: #1 Contender Three Rivers Title Match: Justin Idol Vs. Sterling James Keenan. WINNNER by pinfall: Justin Idol

Segment 7: SCCW Announcer Hank Hudson is about announce the schedule of upcoming SCCW shows when the Cleveland Connection come out. They're pissed that there aren't gonna be any shows in Cleveland to showcase their talent in front of their hometown fans. Just then The Gambino Brothers Moving Company comes out and claim that the Connection never paid up. They owe the Gambinos some money they lost in a poker game. The Connection dodges the question saying that they left their money in their other pants, and when they go to leave the Gambinos attack them. The five men brawl around for a bit.

Segment 8: PWX Vs. IWC Best of Three Falls. 1st Fall: Nikita Allanov Vs. Dean Radford. WINNER: Allanov by pinfall.

2nd Fall: Crusher & Quinn Vs. Doe & Bubba. WINNERS: Doe & Bubba by cheating

3rd  Fall: Bigg Vs. Samu WINNER: Samu by DQ when Bigg just assaults him the whole match.

After the match Jimmy Vegas comes out and takes it to Bigg. Vegas and Samu put Bigg through a table at ringside.

Segment 10: SCCW Tag Team Title Match: Sexual Harrassment © Vs. The Virgin Suicides. WINNERS by pinfall: Sexual Harrassment when Extasy pins Mike Preston. After the match Chris Maverick throws his hot mocha latte in Lords' face, burning him. SCCW Officials run out and help Lords to the back in a "shoot".

Segment 11: Jason Cage comes out and announces that it's time for the next revolution. Time for Revolution Next. And with that he introduces "Platinum Status" Dan Miles, and "Awesome" Jamie Ausmus. They talk about making an impact and starting at the top. They call out Shane Douglas and he comes out. They attack him and leave him laying.

Segment 12: Brass Knuckles Title Match: The KillShot Is Illegal: Chris Taylor © Vs. "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans. WINNER: Tyrone Evans via a powerslam to win the title.

Segment 13: BC Steele comes out to announce the first annual "BC Steele Invitational". In the interest of competition he's putting up $1,000 of his mother's money and is giving it to the winner of the one-night four-man tournament at the next SCCW show. The competitors will be four unsigned competitors who will be fighting for not just the $1,000 but for a contract to compete in SCCW.

Segment 14: Mask Vs. Career: Devil Bhudakahn Vs. Jason Gory. WINNER: Gory by pinfall after Devil lays down and lets him win. Hentai comes out to confront them, and they beat him down. Gory gets on the mic and proclaims himself Super Gory and dons the Super Hentai mask. He and Devil claim to have been planning this all along and Gory announces that Hentai can kiss his ass.

Segment 15: SCCW Heavyweight Title Match: AJ Styles © Vs. Daron Smythe. WINNER by pinfall: "the Phenomenal" AJ Styles after hitting the Styles Clash. Following the match AJ offers Daron a handshake, and Daron accepts, only to attack AJ and leave him busted open in the middle of the ring.

  • 2 weeks later...

From PittsburghIndy.com...

Barry F. is back yet again for more results from the SCCW show at the Monroeville Sports Center in Monroeville, PA.

When I got the arena the crowd was still in line waiting for the doors to open. They were buzzing about upcoming football season, as well as the results from Summer Scorcher. After waiting in line behind a huge smelly guy for 10 minutes the doors opened and we were permitted to enter. I got to my usual seat and then prepared for what looked to be a promising card, but nothing on it that seems amazing. They tried something new and had a meet and greet before the show with Justin Idol, Sterling James Keenan, BC Steele, the Tri Chi's, and Eric Xtasy coming out to mingle with the fans. They ran an angle during the meet n' greet where BC Steele refused to sign an autograph for a fan, so the Tri Chi's laid him out and used his hand to sign the little girl's autograph book. Everyone headed to the back and BC Steele was carried back by officials. As soon as that occured the house lights went down and the crowd popped. Instead of Hank Hudson getting in the ring the show opened with "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple and "the Franchise" Shane Douglas walked out to the ring in a James Farrior Pittsburgh Steelers jersey to a huge pop, and a "HERE WE GO STEELERS" chant. Douglas got in the ring and Hank Hudson handed him a microphone.

Douglas: Two weeks ago at Summer Scorcher we had an unfortunate incident. An incident which left one SCCW superstar fighting for his eyesight. The injury to Troy Lords occurred at the end of his successful tag team title defense against The Virgin Suicides. The Virgin Suicides' manager Chris Maverick threw his scalding hot coffee into the face of Troy Lords out of frustration. It was not part of the show. Lords' was left with only partial eyesight in his left eye, and no eyesight in his right. However, his doctor has announced that he will make a complete and full recovery, but that it will be several months until he can set foot in a wrestling ring. So because of his actions, Chris Maverick has been suspended for 1 month. And tonight I have placed a condition in the contract of Eric Xtasy. Xtasy will not be stripped of the tag title, as it's not fair to him or to his partner Troy Lords. However Eric WILL have a choice to make. He can either continue to defend the tag team titles with a different partner every week until Lords is able to return. Or he can forfeit the titles and be guaranteed the first title shot the moment Troy Lords is able to wrestle. So we shall see what he chooses to do tonight before his match with Southern Comfort.

Just then "Time Bomb" by Godsmack hits and "Hot Property" Jason Cage, "Platinum Status" Dan Miles, and "Awesome" Jamie Ausmus make their way to the ring. They are collectively known as Revolution Next. They get in the ring and corner SCCW PCA Shane Douglas.

Douglas: Can I help you gentlemen?

Cage: We just came out here to make our presence felt once again. I mean, heaven forbid we get booked for a match around here. You seem like you're afraid to give us young guys a chance. You're afraid of what we might do. Afraid we'll impress the fans, and take the spots of older, less athletic guys like yourself.

Ausmus: Yeah Shane...we got a big problem with you! We used to look up to you man, but lately...you've become...ugh. You know how you used to talk about Ric Flair...well Shane, you've become Ric Flair. Well, minus all that talent and charisma and stuff. You're holding the young up and coming stars of SCCW down, and you know it!

Douglas: Becoming Ric Flair, eh? Well as much as that stings..I have a job to do. And that job would be in jeopardy if I struck you without being provoked. So you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna work with you guys. You want a match, you got it. Tonight you three will team up...and be in six-man tag team action against the team of, well, the team of the guys who trained you right here in this very ring! You're gonna take on Nikita Allanov, Quinn Magnum, and Crusher Hansen in an ELIMINATION MATCH! I'm sure they'll beat the word respect into you! Now have a good night!

With that "Perfect Strangers" hits again and Douglas walks out through the stunned Revolution Next and heads out of the ring. Revolution Next stands in the ring mulling over what just occured as the crowd taunts them. They eventually get out of the ring and head to the back to prepare for their match.

"Wrath Of God" by Halford hits and Jason Gory comes out to the ring wearing Super Hentai's mask. He is now billed as Super Gory. He gets in the ring and stretches out, then "Sabotage" by The Beastie Boys hits and Hentai runs out instead of Sabotage. Hentai gets in the ring and he and Super Gory begin to brawl. Officials run out to the ring and pull them apart. Hentai is fighting to get at Super Gory, but he cannot as the officials pull him away before he gets close.

"Some Rap Song I Don't Know The Name Of" hits and Bigg makes his way out to the ring with a piece of paper in his hand. He gets in the ring and Hank Hudson hands him the microphone.

Bigg: Aight, listen. I am sick and damn tired of those two bitches Samu and Jimmy Vegas attacking me from behind, jumping me, and trying to end my career. This has to end soon. So I figured I'd put a stop to it. I hold in muh hand a contract for a match. A handicap match. No DQ. Falls Count Anywhere. For two weeks from tonight at the Sportatorium in McKeesport. I already signed it, so Vegas, Samu...if you two bitches decide you got the balls to accept the challenge...then sign the damn thing. But sign it at your own risk.

Bigg takes the contract and leaves it on the time keeper's table and then heads to the back as his music plays. "MMMMMM...BEEEER!" "Louie Louie" by the Kingsmen hits and Hammer and Blitzz, the Tri Chi's make their way out to the ring with their frat girls Trish and Roxy. They get in the ring to a huge pop. They get in the ring and pose for the crowd as referee Kevin Tressler checks their boots and knee pads for weapons. "Mein Teil" by Rammstein hits as Dash Bennett and Sean Dahmer make their way to the ring. They taunt the crowd and then get in the ring.

****Bennett starts off in the ring with Hammer. They lock up and Hammer throws Bennett across the ring. Hammer taunts him to a big pop. Bennett gets back up and runs at Hammer, he bumps into him, but Hammer doesn't budge and Bennett hits the mat again. The crowd cheers again. Bennett gets up and tags in Dahmer. Dahmer comes in and asks Hammer for the ole knucklelock o'doom~! Hammer looks to the crowd to ask if he should oblige Dahmer, but the crowd says no. Hammer shrugs his shoulder and goes to offer his hand to Dahmer, and kicks Dahmer square in the stomach. Hammer whips Dahmer into the far corner and runs in at him, crushing him in the corner. Dahmer staggers forward into a short-arm clothesline from Hammer. Hammer stomps on him, and as Dahmer tries to get back up Hammer hits him with a few elbow drops to the back. Hammer picks Dahmer up and pulls him towards the Tri Chi's corner. Hammer tabs in Blitzz and Blitzz takes over right where Hammer left off and unloads a big European uppercut to Dahmer's chest. Blitzz whips Dahmer into the ropes and hits a big clothesline on Dahmer as he comes back towards him. Dahmer tries to crawl to his corner to make the tag, but Blitzz grabs his foot before he can and pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Blitzz bends down to pick Dahmer up, and Dahmer gives him a punch to the throat. Blitzz staggers back holding his throat, and Dahmer gets up. Dahmer puts Blitzz in the corner and begins kicking him in the midsection. Dahmer makes the tag to Bennett and holds Blitzz in place while Dash Bennett comes in the ring. Dash stands across the ring from Blitzz and "winds up" for his version of the Ho Train he likes to call the Dangerous Dash. Bennett nails the DD and Blitzz is in pain. Dash pushes Blitzz back into the corner and lights him up with a few chops square to the chest. Dash whips Blitzz across the ring into the other corner and Blitzz hits his chest hard. Blitzz flies backward and Dash hits him with a big lariat to the back of Blitzz' head. He hit Blitzz so hard he knocked one of the z's off his name. Dash tags in Sean Dahmer, and Dahmer picks Blitz (haha) up. Dahmer hits a big suplex, then tries to float over, but he's too fat to float over. Dahmer stands up and picks Blitzz up again. A big ddt puts Blitzz down on the mat. Dahmer tags Bennett back in, Bennett goes up to the top. He comes off for a diving headbutt, but Blitzz rolls out of the way and Bennett hits hard. Blitzz rolls over and is able to make the hot tag to Hammer to a big pop. Hammer comes in as does Sean Dahmer. Hammer clears the ring of Dahmer with a big clothesline. Dash Bennett recovers from the missed headbutt and he turns right into Hammer. Hammer kicks him in the gut and then powerbombs Dash Bennett down onto the mat. Hammer covers Dash. 1--2--3!!!****

Winners by pinfall at 6:16: The Tri Chi Fraternity

After the match, Dash and Dahmer stagger to the back and the Tri Chis celebrate in the ring with the Frat Girls. Eventually they head to the back to a big ovation.

"NO NO....NOTORIOUS NOTORIOUS" BC Steele makes his way over to the interview area that is set up just to the left of the entrance way. He stands up on the mini stage and is handed the microphone.

BC Steele: Before I bring out my guest I'd like to address the previously announced BC Steele Invitational. Due to circumstances beyond my control, the BC Steele invitational has been moved back October 1. That's right, 2 weeks from tonight, 4 men will battle for one SCCW roster spot, and a whole load of cash. Now with that out of the way, white trash and inbreds, please welcome my guest this evening...he is the new SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans!

"Upgrade Ya Life" hits and Evans makes his way out in street clothes with the Brass Knuckles title around his waist. The crowd is going crazy and chanting "Upgrade" as he walks over to the interview platform. Evans gets over and the interview begins.

Steele: Tyrone Evans, the Upgrade, the new SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion. You are a man of many names, Tyrone. But here's one name you may not like to be called. OVERRATED. You see, now don't get mad Ty. Don't get mad. I'm just sharing my opinion with you. You see most people see Tyrone Evans as the fastest rising star in SCCW. But I see him as a man who is does not live up to his hype. You come out...you beat people up. You hit your little move, and then you leave. Where's the fun? Where's the rapping and the hip-hop dancin'? Yeah I get it...you're all business. You're also...ABOUTTOBEATTACKEDBYDARONSMYTHEOHMYGOD!

Evans is confused but out of nowhere comes Daron Smythe who hits Evans from behind. He knocks Evans down and then grabs a steel chair and begins to beat Evans with it. After Evans has been properly subdued, Daron takes his place at the interview platform.

Steele: Well if it isn't my main man "#1" Daron Smythe! Daron, please...tell the world, why did you just beat the living piss out of Tyrone Evans?

Smythe: Well you see, my loss to AJ Styles at Summer Scorcher has taught me something. Humility. It made me realize that I can't just start at the top...I gotta work my way up. So I figured I'd come out here and send Tyrone a message. He might be The Upgrade. But I will be his downfall. I am Daron Smythe, YOUR next Brass Knuckles Champion!

Smythe slaps Tyrone and BC Steele spits on him and gives him a little kick. Tyrone tries to get up and Steele runs away, nearly jumping up into Daron Smythe's arms. The heels make their exit and Tyrone pulls himself up to his feet. He destroys the interview set out of anger and then storms to the back.

"Personal Jesus" by Lollipop Lustkill hits and Sterling James Keenan makes his way out to the ring. He stands in the ring awaiting his opponent as referee Bryce Remsburg plays to a part of the crowd that was taunting him. "Blitzkrieg" by Metallica hits and Hentai comes out, but as soon as he steps out from behind the curtain he's attacked by Super Gory. Gory beats on Hentai until SCCW Officials grab him and try to drag him off. Hentai gets up and goes after Gory, but the officials keep them apart. Bryce Remsburg rules the match a no contest as Hentai and Gory are escorted from the building. SJK stands in the ring and plays up to the crowd and then he grabs the microphone.

SJK: This is a bunch of crap. I came out here all ready to kick Hentai's ass. And some freak in a mask jumps him, cancelling my match? THAT'S BULLSHIT! Yo dude...ref, get me an opponent! Don't tell you can't dammit, send someone out here! Listen, anyone in the back who wants a fight...come on out!

"Big Balls" by AC/DC hits and the crowd pops as Balls Mahoney steps through the curtain. He comes out of course wielding a chair. He slides in the ring and SJK attacks before the bell.

****SJK whips Balls into the ropes and Balls comes back at him for a clothesline, but SJK ducks and bails out of the ring.****

Balls is pissed off and demands SJK gets back in the ring, but SJK tells Balls that he isn't worth it. Balls gets on the mic.

Balls: Fine, run away you coward! But I'll be back here in two weeks to kick your ass! So if you got the balls, I'll see you in the ring, punk!

SJK just gives Balls the finger and then heads back through the curtain. The crowd begins to chant "BALLS" as Balls Mahoney heads to the back to his music again.

Just as Balls gets in the back Samu and Jimmy Vegas come out and take the contract Bigg left for them from Hank Hudson. They each sign their name on it and then head right back to the back.

Hudson: Ladies and gentlemen, our next match this evening is scheduled for one-fall and it has a 30-minute time limit! It is for the Steel City Championship Wrestling THREE RIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...weighing in at 221 lbs. He is the Aerial Icon! He is...JUSTIIIIN IIIIDOOOOOLLL!!!

"Epic" by Faith No More hits and Justin Idol emerges from the back to a deafening pop/squeel from the women in attendence.

Idol gets in the ring and stretches on the ropes as referee Harold Potter checks his boots and his pads.

Hudson: And his opponent, he is the SCCW Three Rivers Champion! Currently weighing in at 240 lbs, hailing from Your Inner Hell...DEVIL BHUDAKAHN!

"Episode 666" by In Flames hit and Devil made his way out without BC Steele. I guess he's not managing him anymore. Devil climbs in the ring, hands the title over to Potter and then Potter checks his boots and pads.

****Idol and Devil start off staring each other down. They talk trash for a big until Devil shoves Idol. Idol pushes back, and Devil cracks Idol in the face with a big right hand. Idol fights back to a big pop from the crowd. They exchange right hands until Devil kicks Justin in the gut. Devil hits a big ddt and goes for a quick win, but Idol kicks out. Devil picks Idol up and tries for a suplex, but Idol blocks it. Devil tries again...no luck. Idol breaks the hold and clotheslines Devil down. Devil gets back up and Idol hip tosses him back down. Devil's back up and gets an arm drag. Devil hops back up again and gets dropkicked back down. This time Devil just rolls to the outside. Devil tries to stall and leave the ring with the belt, but Justin Idol runs up the turnbuckles and leaps off and down onto Devil Bhudakahn. The crowd pops as Idol picks Devil up and rolls him back into the ring. Devil's laying on his back, and Idol attempts a sprinboard leg drop, but Devil rolls out of the way and Idol lands on his ass. Devil gets up and kicks Idol right in the back of the head, and then hits a running neck snap on Idol. Idol sells the neck and Devil picks him up and whips him into the corner. Idol hits the corner hard and catapaults forward right into a high knee lift from Devil. Idol flips over Devil's knee and lands sitting down. Devil applies a dragon sleeper and begins to cinch it in. Every time the referee goes to check on Idol, Devil grabs the ropes for leverage. He continues to have the hold locked on tight and Idol nearly submits, but somehow Idol manages to grab the bottom rope and Harold Potter forces Devil to break the hold. Idol is laying on the mat trying to shake off the effects of the sleeper while Devil taunts the crowd. Devil goes over to Idol and stomps away on him and then elbow drops him. Devil tries to lock on a figure four, but Idol kicks him off and into the ropes. Devil runs off the ropes and jumps over Idol, Idol kips up and leap frogs Devil. Idol ducks to back body drop Devil on Bhudakahn's way back, but Devil stops. He tries to kick Idol in the face, but Idol spins out of the way and sweeps Devil down. Idol gets a victory roll type pin but only gets a two count. Devil and Idol are both back up and they lock up. Idol whips Devil into the ropes and hits a big dropkick. Devil gets up and Idol tries to kick him, but Devil catches his foot. Idol tries and enziguiri, Devil ducks, so Idol comes back the other way with the reverse enziguiri that connects and sends Devil into the corner face first. Idol picks Devil up and sets him on the top rope. Idol climbs up too and tries for a tornado ddt from the top, but Devil tosses Idol off and down onto the mat. Idol hits hard and is laying prone on his back. Devil leaps off the top rope and connects with a big elbow drop. Devil covers Idol. 1---2---IDOL KICKS OUT! Devil picks Idol up and sets him up for a cradle piledriver, but Idol blocks it. Idol back body drops Devil and elbow drops Devil. Idol picks Bhudakahn up and throws him into the corner. Idol with a monkey flip. Devil gets right back up and attempts to spear Idol, but Idol moves and Devil spears the steel post. Devil turns around, holding his shoulder and Justin Idol kicks Devil in the midsection. Idol connects with a jumping impact ddt. Idol goes up to the top rope and hits a Shooting Star Press down onto Devil Bhudakahn. Idol covers him. 1--2--3!!!****

Winner by pinfall and NEW SCCW Three Rivers Champion: "the Aerial Icon" Justin Idol at 12:51

Idol celebrates his win and walks to the back with the title as the crowd goes wild. Hank Hudson then announces a brief 20 minute intermission. During intermission a few wrestlers came out to sign autographs for the fans. Balls Mahoney came back up, as did Sabotage, and the Tri Chis came back out. During intermission SCCW held a contest in which the person holding the winning ticket will get to second his favorite wrestler to the ring during their match tonight. It turns out Bubba the Bulldog rigged it so that he could win and elect to second Dean Radford to the ring for his SCCW title match in tonight's main event.

Intermission ends and Hank Hudson gets in the ring to announce the next match but "The Mountain Song" by Jane's Addiction hits and right after the vocals come in former PWX Superstar, and last PWX Champion "King Of Men" Devin Devine makes his way out from behind the curtain with the old PWX title over his shoulder. The crowd is shocked to see him as it's widely known that he wanted nothing to do with SCCW. He gets in the ring and Hank Hudson hands him the microphone and then exits the ring.

Devine: Y'know, tonight would've been PWX's 11th Anniversary Show. Tonight would've celebrated 11 years at the top of the Pittsburgh indy scene. And over these last few months, I've been sitting at home. Waiting for an opportunity to step back into a wrestling ring. But honestly, I didn't wanna do it anywhere but PWX. But PWX no longer exist, and I feel like it's last surviving wrestler. The last man standing. So I will do my best to defend her honor! I'm gonna defend the PWX Heavyweight title here in SCCW!

"Perfect Strangers" plays and SCCW PCA Shane Douglas comes out. He gets in the ring with Devine and takes the microphone.

Douglas: Woah woah woah, defending the PWX title? PWX is dead. It does no longer exist. Therefore...I am not going to recognize the title here in SCCW. And since I was kind enough to give you time to speak your mind...when you don't even have a contract here!

Devine: Alright then...I'm officially entering myself in the BC Steele Invitational. Yeah...I'm gonna win myself a contract here in SCCW. And then defends PWX's honor from there!

Devine and then Douglas depart for the back. Then "Aerials" by System Of A Down explodes through the PA and the crowd cheers as Nikita Allanov, Crusher Hansen and Quinn Magnum make their way out to the ring. They get in the ring, prepared to take on their opponents...Revolution Next. "Sehnsucht" by Rammstein hit and the three men in the ring were looking towards the entrance way for their opponents, who ran right by me and jumped the barricade. They hit the ring and attacked their opponents from behind.

****Rev Next attacks Allanov's team from behind. Jason Cage unloads with kicks to the midsection of Quinn Magnum. Dan Miles and Crusher Hansen are locking up, and Jamie Ausmus is trading right hands with Nikita Allanov. Quinn Magnum whips Jason Cage into the ropes, and Cage slides and bails out. Dan Miles rakes Crusher's eyes and then he escapes the ring. Jamie Ausmus is oblivious as he pokes Nikita in the eyes. Ausmus grabs Nikita to whip him into the corner, but Allanov reverses the Irish whip and sends Ausmus hurling towards Quinn Magnum. Ausmus stops dead in his tracks, yells out "HOLY SHIT!" and he too bails to the outside. On the outside Revolution Next plays rock, paper, scissors to determine who must get in the ring. In the ring, Quinn and Crusher head to the outside leaving Nikita as the legal man. Dan Miles is the man chosen to get in the ring for his team. He cautiously gets in and then tells the ref to watch for Nikita to cheat. They lock up and Dan Miles gets a side headlock. Miles feels proud of himself and stands there cockily. Meanwhile Nikita Allanov gets out of the hold and is standing behind Miles as Miles taunts the fans, and punches "Nikita" in the head. Nikita taps Dan Miles on the shoulder, and Dan feels the spot where Nikita's head should be and then realizes that Nikita isn't there. Dan turns around and turns right into a huge lariat from Nikita that sends Miles flipping through the air. Nikita pulls Dan Mile's over to his team's corner and then tags in Crusher Hansen. Hansen comes in and puts the boots to Dan Miles. He picks Miles up and throws him hard into the corner where he proceeds to choke him with his boot. Referee Steven Colter makes Crusher break the hold. Crusher tosses Dan Miles out of the corner with a big hip toss. He walks over to Miles and grabs him and then shoves him into his corner, Miles tags in Jason Cage. Cage, the most experienced wrestler in Revolution Next tries a different strategy, he runs around the ring trying to outrun Crusher. Crusher just stands there as Cage runs all around him. Crusher at one point sticks his foot out and trips Cage. Cage hits the mat and Crusher falls down on top of him and applies a version of the crossface. Cage screams in pain, and taps pretty quickly, eliminating himself from the match.****

Eliminated by submission at 4:24: Jason Cage

****Crusher then tags out to Quinn Magnum. Magnum stands in the ring and challenges either remaining member of Rev Next to get in the ring. Finally Jamie Ausmus does. Ausmus walks up to Quinn and slaps him across the face. Quinn is pissed and quickly grabs Ausmus and tosses him into the corner. Quinn hits a running clothesline into the corner, then pushes Ausmus back as he begins to fall over. Quinn lights him up with a series of punches and kicks and then tags in Nikita Allanov. Allanov hits a big belly-to-belly suplex on Ausmus. Ausmus is laying prone on the mat and Nikita nails an elbow drop. Nikita picks Jamie up and sets him up for a piledriver. Allanov jumping piledrives Jamie Ausmus right into the mat. Allanov decides he's still not through with Ausmus yet and sets him up for the Code Red. But Ausmus slides down Allanov's back. Ausmus makes a rookie mistake and forgets which corner he's in, and tries to tag in Crusher Hansen who instead tags Ausmus with a right hand. Ausmus turns right into a Red Scare from Allanov. Jamie Ausmus is out. Allanov covers him. 1--2--3!!!****

Eliminated by pinfall at 6:57: "Awesome" Jamie Ausmus

****Dan Miles reluctantly gets in the ring as the last remaining member of his team. He gets in the ring with Allanov and the two lock up again. This time Miles applies the side headlock, and learns from his mistake and doesn't get cocky. But he forgets to make sure Nikita doesn't get leverage on him and Nikita drops Miles with a back suplex. Nikita tags in Quinn Magnum. Magnum picks Miles up and kicks him in the gut. Miles is bent over, and Magnum sets him up for a powerbomb or a piledriver. Quinn lifts Mile up for the powerbomb, but Miles is able to elbow Quinn in the head and disorient him long enough to get out of the hold. Miles runs off the ropes and hits a flying forearm but it's not enough to knock Quinn down. He tries it again, but this time Quinn catches him and turns it into a powerslam. Miles is holding his back and screaming in pain as Magnum tags in Crusher Hansen. Hansen comes in and picks Miles right up. Hansen hits a crisp snap suplex. Hansen picks Miles up and tosses him like a bag of garbage into the corner, where Miles goes in between the turnbuckles and cracks his face off the steel post, busting him open. Hansen grabs Miles and ddts him. Hansen covers him 1--2--3!!!****

Eliminated by pinfall at 9:19: "Platinum Status" Dan Miles

Winners by elimination at 9:19: Nikita Allanov, Quinn Magnum & Crusher Hansen

Quinn, Nikita, and Crusher leave the ring and Dan Miles staggers to his feet. Referee Steve Colter helps him to the back as the crowd chants "You suck" at him. Miles manages to give them all the finger just as he goes through the curtain.

There's another break in the action as the ring crew sets up the ring for the next segment. "MMMMM...BEER!" "Louie Louie" hits and Kid Cupid...I'm sorry, Cupo comes out to the ring in a toga. It's officially time for...The Party Bus!

Cupo: Woah! Look at all these party people in the house! Thanks for coming to the first edition of...THE PARTY BUS! It's gonna be a rip-roaring good time, with my historic first guests ever...everyone please welcome, Stacy Hunter, Adam Cage and Kano Carter!

The crowd boos as Stacy Hunter and her entourage make their way to the ring. They get in the ring, err...on the bus and stand by waiting to be interviewed.

Cupo: Stacy, Adam, 7-Up Guy, thank you for joining us this evening on the Party Bus! THE FUNNEST BUS EVER! Anyway...I'd like to ask you a question at this time. ISN'T THIS THE FUNNEST BUS EVER?!?!?!?

Hunter rips the mic from Cupo's hand.

Stacy: Listen you idiot, we all know that if you were actually able to get into college, you'd be pulling a 0.0 GPA, so just shut it and let a real athlete talk. These two men to either side of me, Adam Cage and Kano Carter are two of the best...most underrated stars in SCCW today! They are without a doubt the future of this place, and I will not stop until they both have gold around their ultra-talented waists! So now, if you would please excuse up, Cupo...we have to go back to the back and train!

Cupo: Make sure you do some sit-ups or something...fatass!

Stacy lunges at Cupo, but he backs away in fright and Adam Cage and Kano Carter hold her back. Kano threatens Cupo and they threaten to break the set, but the Tri Chis run out and Cage and Kano bail. The Tri Chis, Cupo, and the Frat Girls hand out party favors and candy to the fans and then head to the back. "Losin' Your Mind" by Pride And Glory hits and Southern Comfort, Chris Hamrick and Tracy Smothers make their way out to the ring. They get in the ring and SCCW referee CJ Sensation checks their boots and elbow and knee pads. Then "Touch Me" by Samantha Fox hits and "the Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy comes out to the ring with both SCCW tag titles draped over his shoulders. He stands in the middle of the aisle, then points back to the entrance way. Just then "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus plays and "Spyder" Nate Webb makes his way out from behind the curtain to a loud reaction. Nate and Eric run to the ring and Southern Comfort bail as Xtasy and Webb pose for the fans.

****Xtasy starts off the match with Chris Hamrick. They lock up and Xtasy whips Hamrick into the ropes. Hamrick runs back at Xtasy and Xtasy hits a back body drop. Xtasy drops a knee onto Hamrick's chest and picks him up. Xtasy drags Hamrick to his corner and tags in Webb. Webb comes in and gets an arm wringer on Hamrick, Hamrick flips out of it and arm drags Webb. Webb gets back up and both men go for a dropkick at the same time. The both get back up, double clothesline. Both men get to their feet and exchange right hands. Hamrick knocks Webb back into Tracy Smothers and Smothers knees Webb in the lower back. Webb holds his back and turns around to get Smothers, but Hamrick kicks Webb in the lower back and gets a reverse ddt on him. He covers Webb, 1--2--Webb kicks out. Hamrick tags in Smothers and holds Webb down as Smothers comes off the second rope with a knee drop to Webb's face. Webb sells the knee drop and Smothers picks him up. Smothers puts Webb in the corner and hammers away on him. Referee CJ Sensation forces Smothers away, allowing Chris Hamrick to choke Nate Webb with the tag rope. The crowd is going crazy and finally Tracy Smothers goes back over to Webb and chops him hard in the chest. A few more chops from Smothers and Smothers tags Hamrick back in. Hamrick comes in and stomps away to Webb's midsection. Hamrick hits a snap suplex on Webb. Hamrick holds onto the facelock, rolls over and hits a forward falling suplex. Hamrick covers Webb, 1--2--Webb somehow kicks out. Hamrick picks Webb up and whips him into the ropes, Hamrick back body drops Webb. Hamrick tries for an elbow drop, but Webb moves. Webb darts for his corner, but Hamrick grabs his leg and pulls him back into the center of the ring. Webb attempts a reverse enziguiri, but Hamrick drops the foot and Webb manages to make it over to Eric Xtasy to make the tag. Xtasy gets in and begins to nail Hamrick with right hand after right hand. Tracy Smothers comes in and he too gets knocked down with a right hand. Smothers gets back up, but CJ Sensation makes him head to the apron. Inside the ring Smothers is taunting Xtasy, Xtasy is distracted allowing Chris Hamrick to attack Xtasy from behind. Hamrick with a double axe handle to the back of the head has Xtasy in the corner. Hamrick kicks away at Xtasy's ample midsection. Hamrick then climbs to the 2nd rope and hits a collapse ddt on Xtasy from the corner. Hamrick tags in Tracy Smothers. Smothers go up to the top rope, setting himself up for the falling fist drop of doom. He hits it. He covers Xtasy, 1--2--Webb comes in and breaks the pin. CJ makes him leave the ring. Smothers picks Xtasy up and Hamrick climbs to the top rope. They go for a spike piledriver, but just before they can, Xtasy back body drops Smothers into the corner, and he hits the turnbuckle, knocking Chris Hamrick off and to the outside. Smothers runs at Xtasy, Xtasy grabs him and picks him up for a flap jack, but holds him up, Webb goes to the top rope and comes off, hitting a rocker dropper as Xtasy executes the flap jack. Xtasy rolls Smothers over and covers him. 1---2---3!!!****

Winners by pinfall and STILL SCCW Tag Team Champions: Eric Xtasy & "Spyder" Nate Webb at 08:42

After the match Xtasy thanked Webb for his help, and the Virgin Suicides ran out to the ring and attacked them with chairs. They left Xtasy and Webb laying. Xtasy and Webb get helped to the back, then "I Will Be Heard" by Hatebreed hits and Dean Radford makes his way out to the ring to a mixed reaction. He gets in the ring, awaiting the SCCW Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles. SCCW Senior Official Sean Patrick checks Radford for illegal objects. Then "Touched" by 1st Vast hits and the crowd goes nuts. AJ Styles comes out from behind the curtain with the SCCW Heavyweight Title around his waist. He climbs in the ring, and takes off the title and hands it to Sean Patrick, then takes off his vest and hood. He hands the vest to Hank Hudson, and Dean Radford attacks him from behind.

****Radford unloads with double axehandles to the back of AJ's head. Radford whips AJ into the ropes and as AJ comes off hits a spinebuster. Radford goes for a quick cover, but AJ kicks out on two. Radford picks AJ up and unleashes some wicked chops to AJ's chest. AJ kicks Radford and tries a clothesline, but Radford ducks and when AJ turns around a tries a wild swing, Radford grabs him for a inverted atomic drop. AJ is down. Radford grabs AJ's knee and bashes it off the mat a few times and then proceeds to try and lock on an Indian Deathlock, only to have AJ kick Radford and send Radford flying into the ropes. Radford loses his balance and flies over the ropes, but hangs on and skins the cat back in. He turns around and receives a big spinning heel kick from AJ Styles, knocking him right back to the outside. AJ runs to the opposite side of the ring and back towards Radford, AJ launches himself up over the top rope and down onto Dean Radford. The crowd goes crazy for it as both men are laying prone on the outside. The crowd chants "AJ AJ AJ" and AJ Styles is the first one up. He rolls into the ring to break the count, then rolls back out to the floor. AJ lays on the cement floor on the outside, he appears legitimately hurt. Dean Radford gets up and picks AJ up, he whips AJ hard into the steel steps. AJ hits the steps back first. Radford picks AJ up again and places him on his shoulders. Dean Radford hits an electric chair drop down onto the steps. AJ is hurt. Dean Radford is threatened to be disqualified if he doesn't bring AJ back into the ring, so Radford tolls AJ back in. Radford gets back in and covers AJ by the ropes. 1--2--AJ gets a foot on the bottom rope. Radford argues with the referee, and then picks AJ up. Radford sets him up for a piledriver and AJ blocks the attempt, but Dean manages to hit the piledriver on the 2nd try. Radford again covers AJ, but AJ gets a shoulder up on two. Radford picks AJ up and whips him hard into the corner. AJ hits back first and Radford comes in with a big clothesline. Radford climbs to the 2nd turnbuckle and nails AJ with a few right hands until SCCW Senior Official Sean Patrick makes him stop. Radford jumps down and sets AJ on the top turnbuckle, Dean Radford climbs to the top rope and sets him up for a superplex, but AJ Styles grabs onto the ropes and blocks it. Radford tries again, and again AJ blocks it. Radford hammers away on AJ, punching him in the face. AJ then kicks Radford in the stomach, Radford doubles over, and AJ grabs him in a front facelock, and stands up on the top turnbuckle, and he leaps off and spins Radford around hitting a big spinning ddt from the top rope. The crowd goes nuts, but AJ is too hurt to capitalize and make the cover. Both men lay hurt in the middle of the ring as Sean Patrick counts them out. Radford starts to get up on 7, so Patrick stops counting. Radford is up and he picks AJ up. Radford sends AJ into the corner, where Sean Patrick was standing, and AJ smashes Patrick. Patrick goes down, and AJ bounces back into a huge lariat from Dean Radford. Radford goes to the outside and shoves Hank Hudson off his chair. Radford grabs the chair and gets in the ring. He's waiting for AJ to stand up, Crusher Hansen runs out to try and stop Radford, but Bubba the Bulldog comes out and clips Hansen in the knee. Bubba the Bulldog gets in the ring and picks AJ up, he holds AJ for Radford, and Radford swings the chair at AJ, but AJ moves, and Radford cracks Bubba in the skull with the chair. Bubba falls to the ground and rolls to the outside. Radford tries again to hit AJ with the chair, and AJ ducks and kicks Radford in the stomach. AJ sets Radford up for the Styles Clash. AND HE CONNECTS! AJ covers Radford, and Sean Patrick is still out. Shirley Doe comes running down the aisle and he gets in the ring. AJ gets up and he and Doe exchange right hands. Crusher Hansen is back up and in the ring, he grabs Doe and tosses him out of the ring and then goes outside to fight him off. Sean Patrick begins to stir and AJ covers Radford. 1---------2---------3!!!!*****

Winner by pinfall: "Phenomenal" AJ Styles to retain the SCCW Heavyweight Championship at 11:14

After the match Bubba gets back in the ring and attacks AJ. This brings Nikita Allanov out, followed by Revolution Next, and then Tyrone Evans, Justin Idol, Daron Smythe, and the rest of the SCCW roster. Everyone's in the ring brawling and one by one they get thrown over the top, through the ropes, or underneath the ropes. Eventually we're left with 2 men in the ring, Daron Smythe and Tyrone Evans. Smythe has his back turned to Evans, and is taunting someone on the outside. Everyone tells Smythe to turn around, and before he does, Evans begins running off the ropes to set up his signature move. Smythe casually backs up while still taunting people and telling them to come into the ring and fight him. Eventually Smythe gets right into the middle of the ring, and turns at the last second to see Evans crush him with the KillShot! Tyrone Evans takes the Brass Knuckles Title and holds it high above his head to cheers from the crowd as the SCCW Roster around ringside disperses back to the back. Evans poses with the belt for a bit, and then leaves. After he leaves BC Steele gets in the ring and helps Daron Smythe up as the crowd boos and taunts them.

From PittsburghIndy.com...

As usual Indy Superfan Barry F. returns this week with his recap of all the action in Martin's Ferry, Ohio for the Steel City Championship Wrestling "Meltdown In Martin's Ferry".

I got to the Rec Center extra early as I was invited backstage by some SCCW staff to get pictures and an interview with AJ Styles for the website. I got to not just interview AJ, but I got to hang out backstage for a bit and talk to Shane Douglas, who is one my favorites, so that was cool. Anyway on to the show. I got to my reserved front-row seat and noticed that the building was PACKED. Word of mouth and local advertising must have done wonders as the building is almost filled to capacity. And with Martin's Ferry being on the Ohio/West Virginia border I can see why there'd be a big local indy wrestling following. I live just southwest of Pittsburgh and it only takes me an hour and a half to get here...what a great location for wrestling.

Hank Hudson got in the ring and the crowd cheered as they knew that meant the show was about to start. He did his usual introduction and some of the "regulars" in the crowd were actually able to say it along with Hank. After that Hank had a few announcements to make...

Hudson: Steel City Championship Wrestling would like to thank you for attending this evening's event. Ahead of you tonight is nearly three hours of action-packed wrestling! But before we start the show I have been asked to make a few announcement. First off, SCCW returns right here to Martin's Ferry on April 1st, 2006! We hope you can all come out and join us then! Also due to an injury sustained last week "Platinum Status" Dan Miles had to pulled from action tonight. However, SCCW President of Competitive Affairs, Shane Douglas has found a replacement for Miles in his Brass Knuckles title match against "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans. Tonight, Miles' replacement is...

"COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN!!!", "The Mountain Song" hits and "King of Men" Devin Devine comes out to the ring. He gets in the ring with Hank Hudson and rips the mic out of Hank's hands. The crowd boos Devine as he begins to speak.

Devine: Do you see this belt I have over my shoulder Hank? Do ya? You know what that it is? It's the PWX Heavyweight Championship! I was the last champion of PWX! And I wasn't even asked to be a member of the SCCW roster! Well y'know what Hank? If anyone should be Dan Whatshisname's replacement...IT SHOULD BE ME!

"Perfect Strangers" hits and SCCW PCA comes out to the ring. He steps in to a big pop and gets right in Devin Devine's face.

Douglas: Devin, you aren't even under contract with SCCW. And hell if it were up to me, you wouldn't even be getting a shot! But I know the fans wanna see you get your ass kicked. So I'll tell you what...if you can beat Quinn Magnum at the next show in McKeesport...you'll get a contract with SCCW. And maybe, just maybe you can earn yourself a Brass Knuckles title match. So tonight...instead of you...the man receiving the Brass Knuckles title shot is..."CLASSIC" COLT CABANA!

The crowd surprisingly pops pretty loudly for Cabana's name as Devine gets up in Douglas' face. Douglas motions for security and thus rush out and grab Devine and escort him from the ring and from the building. As Devine's being escorted out he says he's gonna "make an impact" tonight. In some way. Yeah...we'll see about that.

"Tear Away" by Drowning Pool hits and "Awesome" Jamie Ausmus comes out to the ring accompanied by REVOLUTION neXt teammate "Platinum Status" Dan Miles. They get in the ring and referee Steven Colter checks them both for any hidden weapons.

Hank Hudson: This opening bout is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit! It is also for the Steel City Championship Wrestling THREE RIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, already in the ring...accompanied by fellow REVOLUTION neXt member, "Platinum Status" Dan Miles....he is..."AWESOME" JAMIE AUSMUS!

The crowd boos him as he poses for them. But quickly those boos turn to cheers as "Primal Scream" by Motley Crue hits and the SCCW Three Rivers Champion "the Aerial Icon" Justin Idol makes his way out to the ring. One of the most popular stars in SCCW, Idol runs down to the ring, leaps up onto the apron and poses for the crowd the female population of Martin's Ferry, Ohio all collectively swoon as Idol takes his shirt off and then leaps over the top rope and into the ring.

Hudson: And his opponent...from Savannah, Nevada, he is the reigning SCCW THREE RIVERS CHAMPION, "the Aerial Icon" JUSTIN IDOOOOOOL!!!

****Idol takes the belt off and hands it to referee Steven Colter, but as soon as he does he gets jumped from behind. Ausmus attacks with double axe handles to Idol's back. Idol fights back with an elbow to Ausmus' midsection and then snap mares him over. Idol kicks Ausmus in the back and then turns around to taunt Dan Miles. Ausmus picks himself up and runs at Idol, Idol ducks the clothesline and dropkicks Ausmus in the back, sending Ausmus flying over the top rope and down to the floor on the outside. Dan Miles rushes over to Ausmus and makes sure he's ok. Aumus tries to use Miles' injured shoulder to pull himself up, but Miles yells in pain and shoves Ausmus down. The crowd laughs at them, but as Colter's count reaches six, Ausmus slides back into the ring. He stands up and he and Idol square off in the center of the ring. Collar-and-elbow tie-up followed by a side headlock from Ausmus. Ausmus applies pressure, but Idol turns it into a belly-to-back suplex Ausmus holds his neck in pain and Idol picks him up. Idol hits a snap suplex and then floats over, but can only get a 2 count. Idol picks Ausmus back up and whips him into the corner. Ausmus hits hard, and Idol comes flying in and hits a Stinger splash. Ausmus staggers out of the corner, but Idol kicks him back in. Idol with a monkey flip. Ausmus pops right back up and gets hit with a hip toss that Idol turns into an armbar as Ausmus hits the mat. Idol sinches up the armbar, but Ausmus gets to the ropes and Colter forces Idol to break the hold. Idol picks Ausmus up and whips him into the ropes. Idol nails him with a flying forearm and then gets right back up. He waits for Ausmus to get to his feet and puts him down with an impact ddt. Ausmus is down in the middle of the ring and Idol goes to the top rope. Idol comes off the top and nails a big flying elbow from the top. Idol covers Ausmus. 1--2--3!!!****

WINNER by pinfall and STILL SCCW THREE RIVERS CHAMPION: "the Aerial Icon" Justin Idol at 6:13

Following the match "Platinum Status" Dan Miles slides in the ring and clotheslines Justin Idol. Jamie Ausmus manages to recover and he and Miles take it to Justin Idol. They hit a spike piledriver and then stomp away on him. Steven Colter tries to stop them, but they shove him down and continue to beat on Justin Idol. Sterling James Keenan runs down and slides into the ring and chases Miles and Ausmus away. SJK helps Idol up, but then kicks him and gives him a brainbuster, knocking him out. Keenan grabs a microphone.

SJK: Justin Idol, this is your warning...at any time I want, I can come in and take your title from you! So enjoy your reign while it lasts...because sometime soon, I'm coming for you...and that belt is mine!

SJK leaves the ring, and Steven Colter and a few other SCCW Officials help Justin Idol to the back. As they help him to the back, the ring crew comes in and sets up the set for The Party Bus with Cupo. "Louie Louie" hits and Cupo comes out for his interview segment. He gets in the ring and is handed the microphone.

Cupo: Thank you for the kind applause...now are all you party animals ready to PAAAARRRRTAAAAY?!?!?! Yeah I thought so! This week, my special guests are preparing for a match later tonight. Please welcome "Big" John Bolen his manager Scott Venom, and All Business Brant!

The crowd boos as "Sehnsucht" by Rammstein hits and Venom comes out leading the big Bolen and All Business Brant out to the ring. Venom taunts the crowd on his way to the ring and threatens to beat up some little kid. That's class. They get in the ring and stand around.

Cupo: Well Mr. Venom, tonight you lead your protege John Bolen into the biggest match of his short career against Nikita Allanov...

Venom: Shut up you fat shit! Tonight John Bolen is gonna destroy that Communist necktie! Nikita Allanov may be one of the top wrestlers here in SCCW, but he has NEVER faced a phenom the likes of John Bolen! And I GUARANTEE that Bolen will win against Allanov tonight!

Cupo: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Guarantee? Are you nuts?!?!?!?

Venom motions to Bolen and Bolen spears Cupo through his set. Bolen stomps on Cupo and kicks him out of the ring. "Aerials" by System Of A Down hits and Nikita Allanov runs out. SCCW Official Bryce Remsburg runs down and clears the Party Bus set away and asks Hank Hudson to ring the bell for the match to begin.

****Allanov attacks Bolen from behind with a big double axe handle smash. Allanov shoves Bolen into the corner and levels him with lefts and rights to the midsection. Allanov whips Bolen across the ring to the other corner. Bolen hits chest first and staggers backwards into a big lariat to the back of the head. Bolen hits the mat and Allanov picks him up. Allanov goes to put Bolen in the corner...but NO ONE PUTS BOLEN IN THE CORNER, and he fights back hitting Allanov in the face with a big right hand. Allanov staggers backwards, after a kick to the midsection, Bolen hits a ddt on Allanov. Bolen taunts the crowd and then picks Allanov up. Bolen just tosses Allanov into the corner and begins to choke Nikita with his boot. Bryce Remsburg initiates the 5-count, and Bolen stops the choke on 4. Bolen whips Allanov, but turns it into a short-arm clothesline and Nikita goes down. Bolen hits a leg drop and then begins to choke Allanov with his shin. Remsburg with the 5-count again, and this time Bolen breaks on 5, Bryce threatens to disqualify him, but Bolen tells him to f-off. Nice language. Bolen picks Allanov up and sets him up for a piledriver, but Allanov reverses it into a back bodydrop. Allanov hits an elbow drop. Allanov picks Bolen up but Bolen shoulders Allanov into the corner where he unloads on Allanov with a vicious chop. Nikita switches places with Bolen and delivers three chops of his own. Bolen's chest turns beet red and Allanov whips Bolen into the corner. Nikita runs after him, but Bolen gets his foot up and hits a big boot to Allanov's face. Allanov staggers back and Bolen hits a big clothesline. Allanov is right back up and Bolen bodyslams him. Allanov pops up again and Bolen goes for a clothesline, but Allanov ducks and grabs Bolen for a big belly-to-belly suplex. Allanov covers Bolen, but only gets a two count. Allanov picks Bolen up and attempts a piledriver, but Bolen pushes Allanov off of him and Scott Venom gets up on the apron to distract the referee. Allanov turns and knocks Scott Venom off the apron with a big right hand. Behind Allanov, All Business Brant tosses a chair into the ring for John Bolen. Brant then yells for the referee to come to him, and when he does, John Bolen smashes Nikita Allanov in the head with the chair, busting him open. The referee turns around and All Business Brant leaves him alone. Bolen picks Allanov up and hits a tilt-a-whirl powerbomb into a pinning combination for the three count.****

Winner by pinfall: "Big" John Bolen at 7:31

After the match Bolen stands over the fallen Allanov and stares at him. Venom and Brant get in the ring, Venom with the microphone.

Venom: Today, everyone in this place just saw the dawn of a new era! The Bolen Era! And tonight was just the beginning, because with my guidance, John Bolen is going to destroy everyone in his way until he gets to the SCCW Heavyweight Championship! There's no stopping a monster like this! Especially when he has someone as cunning and as brilliant as me guiding him along his way!

"Sehnsucht" hits and Bolen, Venom, and Brant make their way to the back victorious. In the ring, Bryce Remsburg helps Nikita Allanov to his feet, and the bloody Allanov takes his frustrations out on Remsburg and shoves him down. Allanov heads to the back angry and is then followed by referee Remsburg.

The ring is empty for a few seconds when "Good Ol' Boys" by Waylon Jennings begins to play. But instead of Southern Comfort, Tracy Smothers and Chris Hamrick...only Smothers emerges from behind the curtain. He comes out to a large mixture of cheers and jeers. He struts to the ring and then gets in and asks for the microphone. Ring announcer Hank Hudson obliges. Let's hear what Tracy has to say...

Smothers: You know what doesn't make much sense to me, Martin's Ferry? I'll tell ya. Tracy Smothers is one of the most recognizable names in all of professional wrasslin'. And yet, I come to the building for the show, and I get told that I'm not booked? That's ridiculous! And every week I see these no good wannabe tag teams getting a chance to wrassle for the Tag Team Titles, but when does Southern Comfort get a shot? Me and Chris Hamrick could wrestle circles around every tag team in SCCW. We deserve a shot dammit! But I'll tell ya'll what. If the match makers here in SCCW don't wanna give me a match, I'll make my own. So I came here tonight with $1,000 of my own money. And I will give that money to anyone who can beat me one-on-one in a good ole fashioned wrasslin' match!

"Glassjaw" by Systematic hits and Adam Cage comes out to the ring. He gets in the ring and Smothers tells him to get down in a collegiate wrestling stance. The two men lock up and Smothers quickly pins Cage to the mat and Cage storms away in embarassment. Smothers stands in the ring triumphant when "Touch Me" by Samantha Fox hits and "Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy comes out to the ring to a big pop. He gets in the ring and takes the microphone from Smothers.

Xtasy: Mr. Smothers, let me just tell you that it is an honor to be standing in this ring with you. And you're right...you and Chris definately are getting overlooked. So allow me to make you an offer. You team up with me tonight, and defend the SCCW Tag Team titles with me against the Virgin Suicides, and I will push for your team to be the next in line for a tag team title match. Deal?

Smother: Alright...you got yourself a deal. Go get suited up...we got a match to win!

They head to the back to a decent reaction, and then Hank Hudson gets in the ring to announce the next match.

Hudson: Okay wrestling fans, it is now time for the first ever Martin's Ferry Invitational Battle Royal! ****The match starts with all 20 men branching off into their own battles. I paid particular attention to guys like Sebastian and Sabotage who really have a chance to make a name for themselves in this one if they have an impressive showing. Jake Garrett nearly eliminated Dash Bennett but Sean Dahmer made the save. Sterling James Keenan and Brandon K exchanged right hands in the center of the ring. I noticed Crusher Hansen tossing someone to the outside but didn't catch who it was at first. The guy next to me informed me it was Kano Carter.****

"Wonderman" Glenn Spectre is attempting to eliminate Super Gory, but Gory rakes his eyes and climbs back in. Devil Bhudakahn and Sam Slej both somehow end up on the apron and they begin to kick and punch each other trying to eliminate the other. ELIMINATION: SUPER GORY by Daron Smythe at 6:50

Chris Taylor and Daron Smythe continue to team up, this time attempting to eliminate QB Blitzz, but Blitzz manages to bang their heads together and then clothesline them both, knocking them down to the mat. Crusher Hansen and Jake Garrett battle in the corner, and after a rake of the eyes Garrett manages to hit a 2nd rope bulldog on Crusher Hansen. Brandon K and Devil Bhudakahn break off into their own little section of the ring and right in front of me, Devil drops Brandon's throat on the top rope. Brandon hits the mat and holds his throat in pain. Bhudakahn drops his knee on Brandon's face, and Brandon kicks and screams in pain. Sabotage manages to use the ropes and pull himself up and Glenn Spectre is whipped towards him, Sabotage uses the ropes to hold himself up and kicks Spectre square in the face and knocks him down to the mat. Brandon K gets up and runs toward Sabotage, Sabotage ducks and pulls the ropes down and Brandon K goes flying out of the ring.****

ELIMINATION: BRANDON K by Sabotage at 9:03

****Jake Garrett hits a neckbreaker on QB Blitzz. Garrett picks Blitzz up and dumps Blitzz over the top rope, but Blitzz manages to hang onto the bottom rope. Garrett runs to the opposite side of the ring and hits a baseball slide on Blitzz, knocking him off the apron and onto the floor for the elimination. Chris Taylor took advantage of Devil Bhudakahn's attack on Crusher Hansen and worked on Hansen's knee, and Daron Smythe and Scottie Gash stood toe-to-toe and exchanged right hands. Gash grabbed Smythe and whipped him into the corner, the followed it up with a Stinger splash. Smythe stayed in the corner in pain and Gash hit a monkey flip. Crusher Hansen used the ropes to pull himself up, and Chris Taylor kicked his leg out of his leg and dropped Hansen again. SJK placed Sabotage on the top rope and went up with him, SJK attempted a superplex, but Sabotage held on to the turnbuckle and blocked it. Scottie Gash ran over and grabbed SJK and hit him with a big powerbomb from the top rope. Sabotage then jumped off the top and missile dropkicked Scottie Gash in the back. The momentum sent Scottie running right at Daron Smythe who nailed him with a big powerslam. Crusher Hansen somehow managed to get back to his feet and hit Chris Taylor with a big boot to the face. Taylor went straight down and Crusher Hansen bent down to pick him up. Taylor hit a low blow on Hansen and Daron Smythe ran at Hansen and hit a high knee lift that knocked Crusher Hansen over the top rope and down to the floor for the elimination.****

ELIMINATION: CRUSHER HANSEN by Daron Smythe at 13:41

****And we're down to five. Sabotage got to his feet and Sterling James Keenan also staggered to an upright position. The two of them traded a punch, and then SJK kicked Sabotage in the stomach and whipped Sab into the ropes. Sab came back at SJK, and SJK back body dropped him over the top, but Sabotage held on and grabbed SJK. He held him up for Scottie Gash to run at, but SJK got free, and moved at the last second, Gash ran into Sabotage and knocked him off the apron for the elimination. Gash bounced back off the ropes and into a Daron Smythe back suplex.****

ELIMINATION: SABOTAGE by Scottie Gash at 14:11

****Sterling James Keenan rolled under the ropes and down to the floor where he apparently intended to stay. Inside the ring Daron Smythe and Chris Taylor took their time and teamed up to beat on Scottie Gash. Both men took turns stomping away on Gash. Chris Taylor picked Gash up and hit a fisherman buster on the Spotlight. Daron Smythe said it was his turn and he picked Gash up and set him up for a shoulderbreaker, but Gash slid down Smythe's back and when Smythe turned around, Gash kicked him in the midsection and then ddt'd him. Smythe popped up and Gash clotheslined him over the top rope and down to the floor. Chris Taylor attempted to toss Gash, but Gash held on to the ropes and slid back in. Taylor thought he had the match won and turned around to celebrate, but Gash tapped him on the shoulder and when Taylor turned around, Gash began to unload with lefts to the face.****

ELIMINATION: DARON SMYTHE by Scottie Gash at 16:04

****Gash kicked Taylor in the stomach and hit a swinging neckbreaker. Sterling James Keenan ended his break and slowly climbed back in to stalk Scottie Gash. All of a sudden "Big Balls" by AC/DC hit and the crowd went crazy. Everyone stood up expecting to see Balls Mahoney come out from the curtain, but nothing happened. SJK had turned around to wait for Balls, and Gash took advantage and tossed SJK over the top and down to the floor.****

ELIMINATION: STERLING JAMES KEENAN by Scottie Gash at 16:57

****Gash celebrated but when he turned around he turned right into a clothesline from Chris Taylor. Taylor picked Gash up and sent him into the corner. Taylor went over and chopped Gash as hard as he could. Gash's chest began to turn red and Taylor hit another chop. Taylor hip tossed Gash and Gash got right back up and was on the receiving end of a dropkick. Gash hit the mat again and got right back up, Chris Taylor hit a clothesline on Gash. Taylor had Gash down and took the opportunity to taunt the crowd. Scottie Gash saw this as his chance and tried to toss Taylor out, but Chris Taylor held on somehow. Taylor slid back in and as soon as he stood up, Scottie Gash clotheslined him back down. Taylor's manager Krystol Frost came running out. She climbed up on the apron and distracted Gash. She went to slap him, but he grabbed her arm and blocked it, then he grabbed her by the hair and planted a huge kiss on her. The crowd popped and Chris Taylor ran at Gash, Gash moved and Taylor knocked Krystol Frost off the apron and down to the floor. Gash tried to clothesline Taylor, but Taylor ducked and back body dropped Gash over the top and down to the floor.****

ELIMINATION: SCOTTIE GASH by Chris Taylor at 18:09

WINNER by elimination: "Mr. 21st Century" Chris Taylor at 18:09

"Natural High" by The Union Underground hit and Taylor celebrated. SCCW Referee Harold Potter brought the Martin's Ferry Invitational Trophy in the ring and presented it to Chris Taylor. Krystol Frost recovered and got in the ring with Taylor to celebrate.

Taylor: *out of breath* Going into this match...I knew I was going to win. No one in this thing...could touch me. *tosses trophy down and part of it breaks* Look at that...the damn thing broke! Well I'll tell you this...this trophy doesn't mean a damn thing to me! All I care about is the title shot! And I'm gonna use it! At Final Resolution, you will be looking at the NEW SCCW Heavyweight Champion, "Mr. 21st Century" CHRIS TAYLOR! NOW HIT THE MUSIC!

"Natural High" begins again and Chris Taylor and Krystol Frost walk to the back taunting the crowd. Scottie Gash is still laying on the outside, apparently hurt. He is helped up by a few SCCW Officials, but instead of leaving right away he slides into the ring and grabs the broken trophy and holds it up. He yells "If he doesn't wanna respect this...I WILL!" and the crowd cheers him louder than they've cheered anyone so far tonight as his music hits and he heads to the back to a "SPOTLIGHT" chant.

After the music stops and everyone settles down there's a commotion over near the entrance as an old man is getting in people's way as he's trying to make his way to his seat. He finally gets to an empty seat and sits down, it soon becomes clear that it's not an old man, but Devin Devine. Devine sits down in the second row and soon a man comes over and yells at Devine to get out of his seat. Devine stands up and they begin yelling at each other. Before it can escalate SCCW Security runs over and grabs Devine and drags him out of the arena again as the crowd cheers and waves goodbye.

"Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees hits and the Virgin Suicides, Shiima Xion and Mike Preston make their way out to the ring accompanied by their manager Chris Maverick. The crowd boos as they get in the ring and pose. The referee for this match, Kevin Tressler makes them stay in their corner as "It's Raining Men" by the Weather Girls hits and Eric Xtasy makes his way out to the ring. He stops about halfway down the aisle and motions for Tracy Smothers, and in the funniest moment of the night Smothers walks out with this "What the fuck?" look on his face. He's clearly embarassed at having to come out to the ring with that theme song. He makes it up to where Xtasy is and keeps on walking, Xtasy takes his second pink feathered boa and drapes it over Smother's neck, and Smother freaks out and yells "Don't put that shit on me!" These two should team up permanently...this is hilarious. They get in the ring and decide that Xtasy will start in the ring with Shiima Xion. Smothers gets on the apron and the match is underway.

****Xtasy and Xion lock up and Xtasy shoves Xion down to the mat. Xion is pissed. Xtasy blows him a kiss and Xion crawls over to his corner and tags in Mike Preston. Preston gets in and asks Xtasy to tag in Smothers. Xtasy makes like he's gonna go tag Tracy, and then turns around and cold cocks Preston. Xtasy unloads right on Preston's face. Sorry. Anyway, Xtasy grabs Preston and whips him into the corner. Xtasy goes over to the corner and delivers a few chops to Preston. Xtasy knees Preston in the midsection several times and then snap mares him out of the corner. Xtasy applies a side headlock and wears Preston down. Xtasy drags Preston over to his corner and tags in Tracy Smothers. Smothers comes in and goes right to work on Preston by applying a rear chinlock. Smothers has it locked on tight until Preston pushes him off and sends Smothers into the ropes. Smothers comes back and Preston bails to the mat, Smothers steps over him and then Preston gets back up. Leap frog by Preston, and Smothers just stops where he is, Preston gets back down to his feet, and Smothers hits a russian leg sweep. Smothers tags Xtasy back in. Xtasy comes in and applies a half crab on Preston. Preston reaches for the ropes and eventually gets to them. Xtasy picks Preston up and hits a suplex. Xtasy runs off the ropes and hits a falling fist drop to Preston's face. Xtasy turns to play to the crowd and Preston is able to roll him up, but only for a two count. Xtasy gets up and Preston attempts a clothesline, but Xtasy ducks and hits a neckbreaker. Xtasy poses and Smothers yells at him to "stay on him". Xtasy turns around and goes to pick Preston up, but Preston hits a chinbuster and Xtasy staggers backwards. Preston is able to make the tag to Shiima Xion. Shiima jumps into the ring and tackles Xtasy. Shiima unloads with several right hands to Xtasy's face. Shiima gets up and goes to hit Smothers, but Smothers blocks it and tags Shiima with a stiff closed fist. Shiima staggers back, and turns into an Eric Xtasy ddt. Xtasy collapses, but manages to tag Smothers. Smothers gets in the ring and hits a short-arm clothesline on Shiima. Mike Preston runs in the ring, and referee Kevin Tressler holds him back. Chris Maverick runs around to where Smothers is, and nails Smothers with his cane. Smothers turns around to threaten Maverick, and Shiima Xion does the old Randy Savage run to the ropes, leap over them and hit a guillotine on your opponent spot. Smothers hits the mat, and Xion rolls back in the ring. Shiima pulls Tracy towards his corner and then picks him up and places him on the top rope. He tags Mike Preston, and Preston climbs to the top. Shiima hits a big superplex on Smothers, and as soon as he rolls out of the way, Preston comes off the top rope with a flying elbow smash on Smothers. Preston covers him, but Eric Xtasy comes in and breaks the pin. Tressler forces Xtasy back to his corner and Xion and Preston take the opportunity to double choke Smothers. Tressler turns around, and Xion rolls out of the ring. Preston picks Smothers up and hits a snap suplex with a float over, but can only get a 2 count on the cover. Preston picks Smothers up and whips him into his corner. Xion chokes Smothers with the tag rope as Chris Maverick has Tressler distracted on the apron. Eric Xtasy hops down and runs over to where Maverick is and pulls him off the apron. Maverick smashes his face off the apron and hits the floor. Xtasy gets back up on the apron and pleads for the crowd to begin to cheer for Smothers. They begin to chant "Tracy" as Mike Preston unloads with shoulders into Tracy's midsection. Preston tags in Shiima Xion. Xion comes in and levels Smothers with kicks to the midsection and then tries to whip Smothers into the opposite corner, but Smothers reverses the whip and sends Xion into the corner himself. Xion's back hits the corner hard and he propels forward. Smothers runs at him and hits a clothesline and then collapses in the center of the ring. The crowd continues to chant for Tracy to make the hot tag. Shiima gets to his feet first and makes his way to his corner. Smothers struggles to pull himself closer to Xtasy. I'm sure with the right woman he wouldn't have to struggle. Shiima gets to his corner first and tags in Mike Preston. Preston runs into the ring, and Smothers makes the cliched hot tag at just the right time. The crowd is on fire as Eric Xtasy gets in the ring and lights Preston up with a big clothesline. Preston is back up and right hand takes him down. Shiima Xion comes in and tries to clip Xtasy, but Xtasy moves out of the way and Xion runs into Mike Preston. Preston holds his knee in pain and Eric Xtasy picks him up and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Xtasy tosses Smothers into the corner, and Smothers holds onto Xion as Xtasy covers Preston. 1---2--3!!!****

Winners by pinfall and STILL SCCW Tag Team Champions: "the Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy and Tracy Smothers at 12:07

After the match Xtasy holds both titles above his head and then raises Smothers hand. Smothers takes his arm down and as Xtasy turns his back to Smothers to celebrate, Smothers drops to one knee and low blows Xtasy from behind. Smothers grabs a microphone.

Smothers: Hey fruit pie, you got two weeks to find yourself a partner! Because Southern Comfort is coming to take those belts off of you! It's about time those belts come around the waist of real men!

Smothers throws the mic down and walks away to a chorus of boos. The Virgin Suicides head to the back defeated, and then Eric Xtasy gets to his feet, his music hits and he walks to the back with both SCCW titles.

Kingdom James gets in the ring for the next segment. Let's hear from him...

Kingdom: Tonight, we have some very special guests in attendence. At this time I'd like to ask them to please stand up and be acknowledged.

At this point the whole first row stands up, they're all high school kids in their football letter jackets.

Kingdom: Please welcome, Ohio's state football champions, the Martin's Ferry Bulldogs!

The crowd gives them a rousing ovation..."NO...NO...NOTORIOUS! NOTORIOUS!" then "The Final Countdown" begins and "#1" Daron Smythe and his manager BC Steele come through the curtain and the cheers change to boos. Smythe and Steele get in the ring and without asking, take the microphone from Kingdom James. How rude.

Steele: A high school football team? That's what gets you folks all excited? NEWSFLASH! None of these kids will ever amount to anything! Maybe one day one of em will on the news for stealing gas so they can go huff it in their mom's garage, but other than that none of them will ever do anything of note! Why? Because they're from Martin's Ferry! Nothing ever happens here! Hell, the only one from around here even worthy of mentioning was NFL kicker Lou Groza! But he played for the Cleveland Browns, so that negates any talent he MAY have had! And unlike Groza, none of these so-called "champions" will EVER see a professional football field. Well maybe on tv, but that's it! Because you see, unlike Pennsylvania, and unlike West Virginia *points to Smythe* Ohio just can't be expected to produce anyone with any kind of talent.

"OOO AH AH AH AH AH!" "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed hits and Strongsville, Ohio "native" Crusher Hansen comes out to a big pop. He yells at them to put their money where their mouth is. But that's not sanitary. Hansen gets in the ring and Smythe and Steele bail. They begin to backup down the aisle, but from behind, SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans comes out. Smythe bumps into him and turns around. Evans levels Smythe with a big right hand. Crusher Hansen comes out and grabs BC Steele and tries to drag him into the ring, but Steele manages to run away. Evans gets jumped from behind as "Classic" Colt Cabana comes out. Hank Hudson announced that this match would be a tag team match for the Brass Knuckles title, and the winning team's Brass Knuckles title match representative would become the champion. Meaning only Evans or Cabana would walk out with the title, depending on whose team wins.

****Evans and Colt Cabana get in the ring and the bell rings to start the match. Cabana whips Evans into the ropes and gets a drop toehold, Cabana tries to apply an STF, but Evans gets to the ropes and pulls himself up. Cabana runs at Evans, and Evans dumps him over the top rope, and Colt ends up landing on top of BC Steele. Daron Smythe slides in the ring behind Evans and attacks him from behind. Smythe hits a European uppercut on Evans and then sets him in the corner. Smythe lights him up with a chop to the chest, and then another European uppercut. Smythe knees Evans in the stomach and then whips him across the ring into the other corner. Smythe runs in after him and goes for a clothesline, but Evans ducks and Smythe hits the corner chest first. He bounces back and into a belly-to-back suplex from the Upgrade. Evans goes to his corner and tags in Crusher Hansen. Hansen comes in and picks up Smythe, he sets him up for a suplex, but then changes his mind after holding Smythe up in the air and decides to bodyslam him instead. Smythe holds his back in pain and Hansen picks him back up. Hansen sets him up for a piledriver and connects with it. Hansen covers Smythe, but only can get a 2 count before Colt Cabana comes in and breaks up the count. Tyrone Evans comes in to combat Colt, but referee Bruce Gray forces Evans to get back on the apron. Cabana and Smythe switch places without a tag and Cabana rakes Crusher's eyes. Cabana kicks him in the stomach and hammers on Hansen's back. Hansen shoves Cabana into the corner and then unloads a series of lefts and rights on him and then grabs him under the arms and just tosses him into the middle of the ring. Hansen goes over and tags Tyrone Evans back in. Evans comes in and grabs Cabana by the hair, he whips him into the ropes and spears him. Evans hammers away with right hands to Cabana's face. Evans picks him up and manages to lift Colt up over his head for a gorilla press slam. Cabana holds his face after landing on it, and Evans continues the beating by driving his knee down into Colt's back. Tyrone Evans follows up with a few more knees to the back, and then he picks Colt up. Evans takes Colt into his corner and tags in Crusher Hansen. Hansen comes in and Evans holds Colt's arm up and Crusher kicks Colt in the ribs. Colt holds his midsection in pain and Hansen grabs Colt's back and drives his knee up into Colt's face several times. Colt falls backwards and hits the back of his head off the mat. Hansen goes to Colt's side and drops a big elbow on Colt's chest. Hansen grabs Colt's leg and drags him over to his corner, and tags Tyrone Evans back in. Evans comes in and picks Cabana up. Evans goes to whip Colt against the ropes, but Colt reverses it and whips Evans. Evans runs to the ropes where Daron Smythe is, and Smythe knees Evans in the back. Evans holds his back and turns around and knocks Smythe off the apron, but that allows Colt Cabana to run at the Upgrade and clothesline him over the top rope. Cabana distracts the referee while Daron Smythe grabs Evans and whips him as hard as he can into the wooden crowd barrier. Evans goes back first into the barrier, and gets caught on it. Smythe chops Evans in the chest a few times, and then rolls him back into the ring for Colt Cabana to take advantage. Cabana kicks Evans in the back a few times and then tags in Daron Smythe. Smythe picks Evans up and picks him up for a bodyslam, but instead turns it into a backbreaker. Evans screams in pain and Smythe taunts the crowd. Smythe picks the Upgrade up and places him in the corner. Smythe climbs to the 2nd turnbuckle and begins to unload with a series of right hands on Evans. Evans grabs Smythe for a powerbomb, but Smythe grabs Colt Cabana's arm and Colt tries to prevent the powerbomb, but Tyrone notices and kicks Colt in the stomach. Colt falls off the apron, and Evans powerbombs Smythe. Smythe hits hard and is down on the mat. Evans holds his back and collapses in pain. Evans is trying to get up enough to crawl over to Hansen for the tag. Hansen has the crowd cheering for Evans to make the tag. Daron Smythe manages to get to his feet first however, and tag in Colt Cabana. Cabana makes a bee-line for Hansen, and knocks him off the apron. He goes over to Tyrone Evans and goes to pick him up, but Evans hits a low blow on Cabana. Cabana is stunned in the middle of the ring. Evans begins to run off the ropes to set up his finishing move, the KillShot. Evans makes his final bounce off the ropes and rights straight for Cabana and connects with the KillShot knocking Cabana down hard. Evans goes for the cover, but BC Steele is on the apron. Evans goes over and punches him, knocking him off the apron. Evans covers Colt Cabana and referee Bruce Gray makes the count...1---2---3!!!****

Winners by pinfall: SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans & "Hangman" Crusher Hansen at 13:16. Evans retains the Brass Knuckles title.

Following the match Bruce Gray grabs the Brass Knuckles title and goes to hand it to Evans, but Daron Smythe knocks him down and takes the title. Evans grabs Smythe by the shoulder and spins him around, and Daron Smythe cracks Evans in the face with the belt, knocking Evans out. Crusher Hansen slides in the ring to make the save, and Smythe, Cabana and Steele all bail out and head to the back. Hansen stays with Evans until he recovers enough to get to his feet. Hansen helps Evans to the back and the crowd gives them a big ovation on their way to the back.

At this point Hank Hudson announced that there would be a quick 10-minute intermission and announced that SCCW is in the process of recording tonight's show to be released on DVD. An announcement will be made when the DVD is ready to go on-sale. Sweet. During intermission Chris Taylor quietly made his way over to the announce booth to I assume record commentary for the main event. My guess is he's gonna be taking on the winner of the title match at the next event.

Hank Hudson: Ladies and gentlemen it is now time for our main event of the evening. The following contest is scheduled for one-fall with a one hour time limit. It is for the Steel City Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger being lead to the ring by fellow REVOLUTION neXt members "Awesome" Jamie Ausmus and "Platinum Status" Dan Miles, from North Huntington Beach, California..."Hot Property" JASOOOON CAAAAGE!

"Stricken" by Disturbed hits and Jason Cage comes out from behind the curtain with the rest of REVOLUTION neXt. He gets in the ring and climbs the ropes to pose for the crowd and they boo him. Cage is then told to stand in his corner so SCCW Senior Official Sean Patrick can check his boots and pads for any illegal objects.

Hudson: And his opponent, making his way to the ring at this time, from Gainesville, Georgia, he is the SCCW Heavyweight Champion...."the Phenomenal" A...J...STYLES!

"Touched" by Vast hits and AJ Styles comes out of the curtain and the crowd goes crazy. AJ gets in the ring and takes the belt off from around his waist and hands it to Sean Patrick. He poses for the crowd and then hops down off the ropes. In a nice touch, Patrick lets Cage see the title, and then issues instructions to both men. He sends them to their corners and then hands the belt to Hank Hudson.

****AJ and Jason walk to the center of the ring, and AJ extends his hand for Cage to shake, but Cage instead slaps AJ in the face. Oh no he di-in't! AJ smirks and then casually rears back and goes to punch Cage, but Cage covers his face. AJ stops and as soon as Cage puts his arms down AJ tags him with a quick right hand. Cage staggers backwards and swings at AJ, but Styles ducks and gets an atomic drop on Cage. Cage goes into the corner, and AJ runs in and gets a monkey flip. That's more monkey flips in one night than I've ever seen in my life. Cage rolls outside and his cronies, er...stablemates to comfort him. Sean Patrick administers the 10-count, and Cage is back in on 6. Cage and AJ go to the middle of the ring and lock up. AJ breaks the tie-up and using his arm, sweeps Cage's legs out from under him, and as Cage hits the mat, AJ locks on a fujiwara armbar. Cage is screaming in pain and Jamie Ausmus jumps up on the apron. He distracts Sean Patrick and AJ lets go of the armbar and goes over to yell at Ausmus. AJ goes to punch Ausmus, but Jason Cage grabs AJ's arm and spins him around. Cage kicks AJ in the stomach and hits a ddt. Cage picks AJ up and whips him into the corner. Jamie Ausmus grabs AJ's feet and holds him in the corner. Cage runs at AJ and hits a big clothesline on him in the corner. Cage then whips AJ across the ring to the other corner, but AJ runs up the turnbuckles and shoves himself off the second turnbuckle for a back elbow, but Cage isn't in the best position and ends up taking an elbow in the stomach. Cage doubles over then collapses to his knees. AJ with a la magistal cradle, but only gets a two count. AJ picks Cage up and attempts a hip toss, but Cage blocks it and gets one of his own. AJ is back up, but Cage clotheslines him over the top rope and down to the floor. Cage begins to take Sean Patrick aside and talk to him, to distract him while Jamie Ausmus and Dan Miles beat on AJ on the outside. The crowd boos as Ausmus picks AJ up and drops him face first on the apron, and then whips him into the steel post. AJ collapses to his knees and Ausmus rolls AJ back into the ring. Cage goes over to AJ and covers him, 1--2--AJ kicks out! Cage positions AJ near the corner, and then goes up to the top rope. Cage comes off for a big splash, but AJ gets his knees up and Cage lands on them. Cage rolls off AJ's knees and lays on the mat in pain. AJ runs off the far ropes and back at Cage, and hits a big running senton on Cage. AJ stands up and picks up Cage. He hits him with a suplex and then picks him up again hits a stalling brainbuster. After sitting up after nailing the move, Dan Miles is up on the apron. Sean Patrick turns his attention to him and Jamie Ausmus slides into the ring behind AJ, but AJ senses it and hits a spinning clothesline on Ausmus. Sean Patrick turns around and sees Ausmus in the ring and then throws him and Dan Miles out of the ringside area. As they are leaving however, Dan Miles collapses to the floor. Sensing something is wrong, Sean Patrick runs out to see if he's ok. He calls for the medical staff, and they rush out to check on Miles. The crowd gets silent, not knowing what to think. I see one of the paramedics walk right past Miles and suddenly I know what's going on. The medic walks down to the ring, and slides in behind AJ Styles who stopped what he was doing to look on. The medic takes his steel first aid box and runs at AJ and cracks him in the back of the head with it. At that point, I realize the paramedic is actually Devin Devine. Devine heads for the hills and leaves through the crowd. And suddenly, Dan Miles is okay and up and walking. He and Ausmus head to the back with the EMTs walking with him to make sure he's okay. Sean Patrick turns around and comes back into the ring. Jason Cage manages to roll AJ Styles over and cover him. 1---2---3!!!****

Winner and NEW SCCW Cham...

"Perfect Strangers" hits and SCCW PCA Shane Douglas is out within a second he has a mic in hand.

Douglas: Woah woah woah, this isn't happening! I happened to be standing just behind the curtain watching what was going on, making sure Dan Miles was okay. And I saw Devin Devine pretend to be an EMT and crack AJ Styles in the head with a steel first aid box. Well that doesn't sit well with me! And because of that, as SCCW's President of Competitive Affairs, I have no choice but to reverse the decision and award the match to AJ Styles!

Jason Cage comes over and yells at Douglas. He asks for the microphone.

Cage: This is ridiculous! I deserve another chance to beat AJ fair and square! Restart the match! Restart the match!

Douglas: Okay fine...the match is restarted!

****The bell rings and he covers AJ again. 1---2---AJ kicks out at the last possible moment! Cage is angry and picks AJ up. He attempts a suplex, but AJ blocks it and hits one of his own. AJ goes to the top rope, but is still woozy from the shot he took earlier and loses his balance and crotches himself on the top rope. Jason Cage takes advantage and climbs up after him. Cage sets him up for a superplex, but on the way down, AJ reverses it into a flying cross body. AJ lands on top of Cage and hooks the leg. 1--2--3!!!****

Winner and STILL SCCW Heavyweight Champion: "Phenomenal" AJ Styles at 16:24

After the match Chris Taylor leaves the announce booth and walks down to the ring as AJ's music plays. Taylor gets in the ring and he and AJ stare down each other in the middle of the ring. After a few seconds of the stare down, Chris Taylor backs away and heads to the back leaving AJ Styles in the ring to celebrate.

SCCW Final Resolution Preview, Plus SCCW News And Notes!!!

SCCW Final Resolution

Huge Main Event Signed!

Martin's Ferry, Ohio was host to another great night of SCCW action. The show saw Chris Taylor become the winner of the Martin's Ferry Invitational Battle Royal, giving him the right to a title match of his choice at the following show. Taylor surprising no one, has chosen to take on SCCW Heavyweight Champion "the Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Styles, the champion since SCCW inception is looking to end 2005 with a bang, and hold on to his title as he faces what may be his toughest challenge yet.

Handicap Match!

The show in Martin's Ferry also saw the SCCW debut of "Classic" Colt Cabana. Cabana quickly aligned himself with "#1" Daron Smythe and BC Steele. But their power as a unit would be challenged by Ohio's own Crusher Hansen and SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion, "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans. Signed for Final Resolution is a big 3-on-2 handicap match, in which the man scoring the winning pinfall will receive a Brass Knuckles title shot. It's gonna be Smythe, Steele & Cabana teaming up to take on Crusher Hansen and Tyrone Evans. Evans and Hansen told SteelCityWrestling.com that they are looking forward to getting their hands on their three opponents, and Final Resolution will not be a good way to end the year for Steele and his charges.

Tag Team Turmoil

Eric Xtasy, without a tag team partner due to an injury suffered by long time teammate "Balls Hot" Troy Lords, has been allowed to choose a new tag partner every show to help him defend his tag team titles. In Martin's Ferry Xtasy looked to a veteran of the tag team scene, Tracy Smothers, for some help. And help he did. Smothers helped Xtasy pull off another big win to retain the titles over the Virgin Suicides. After the match however, Xtasy learned a valuable lesson...don't trust Tracy! Tracy Smothers turned on his partner and issued a warning to Xtasy 'find a partner, because Southern Comfort is taking those titles!' Who will Xtasy choose? And will it be a wise move? Can Xtasy and his teammate overcome the lack of experience and retain against tough challengers? Or does the South's rise to prominence begin at Final Resolution?

Contractual Obligations

Over the past month, SCCW has been pestered by a nuisance. A nuisance known as "King Of Men" Devin Devine. Devine has done everything in his power to get a contract here in SCCW so he can defend the honor of his beloved PWX Heavyweight Championship, a belt he still owns. Week after week he shows up, only to be thrown out of the building by security at the behest of SCCW PCA Shane Douglas. Last week in Martin's Ferry would have a different result however, as Devine was able to interject himself in the SCCW Heavyweight Title match and nearly cost AJ Styles the title. Well this week Devine gets his shot at retribution, an SCCW contract, and a new beginning for 2006. But standing in his way is SCCW fan favorite and Pittsburgh wrestling icon, Quinn Magnum. Devine is obviously giving up a big size advantage to Magnum. Is 2006 going to be the year of Devine? Or will Quinn Magnum ban Devin from an SCCW ring for good?

Sydal Set To Debut!

Indy wrestling standout Matt Sydal has signed on to wrestle a few shows for SCCW. He looks to make a good first impression as he takes on "Fabulous" John McChesney in a match that could determine Sydal's future in SCCW. An impressive showing or a victory could lead to many opportunities for the young man. A loss however would catapault McChesney and give him some much needed momentum and could possibly send Matt Sydal packing.

ALL THIS AND MORE Saturday Night December 31, 2005. A special 5:30 Bell Time at the Sportatorium in McKeesport, PA.

From PittsburghIndy.com...

Superfan Barry F. is back yet again for more SCCW results. This time he's checking in from McKeesport, PA for SCCW's Final Resolution.

Tonight is SCCW's final show of 2005. They're giving out ballots for people to vote for their Year-End Awards as people walk in. A very big crowd this week, I wasn't expecting half this much considering it's New Year's Eve and the show's at 5:30. I guess they're gonna announce the award winners online or at their next show or something. Anyway...on with the show.

Hank Hudson gets in the ring and does his schpiel. I'm telling you, Hank's one of the most over guys in SCCW, and all he does is ring announcing. Sweet gig. Anyway Hank gets in and welcomes us to the show. He goes to do a quick rundown of the night's events, but then we hear some familiar music.

"NO-NO-NOTORIOUS! NOTORIOUS!" then the beginning of Europe's "The Final Countdown" hits and BC Steele, "#1" Daron Smythe and "Classic" Colt Cabana come out to the ring. They get in the ring and Steele takes the mic from Hank Hudson and then Cabana and Smythe promptly shue Hank from the ring.

Steele: I'm sure by now everyone knows about the big stipulation added to our handicap match tonight. The man scoring the winning fall will receive a shot at the Brass Knuckles Championship. Well tonight, you are all about to witness the greatest, most ingenius plan of all-time come to fruition. Tyrone Evans, your days of holding the Brass Knuckles title are numbered. I would say that you have about as many days to enjoy what's left of your reign as people in this building have teeth...but you'll hold the belt for more than four days by default!

The crowd boos as the three men begin talking amongst themselves and yelling stuff at various people in the crowd. They keep it up for a bit and then "Down With The Sickness" hit and "Hangman" Crusher Hansen comes down the aisle.

Hansen: You know what, I think I speak for everyone in this building when I ask you...no, I'm telling you...to shut the hell up! I am so sick of you three running your mouths. You talk such a big game, but deep down inside you know you guys have no chance tonight. Me and Tyrone Evans are gonna shut you three up once and for all!

Steele: Oh is that? Well why don't you waddle your fat broken down ass into this ring and give us a sneak preview of what we're in for tonight!

Hansen runs down and slides in the ring. Smythe and Cabana attack Hansen right away. The two of them and BC Steele stomp on him until "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans runs out and clears the ring. Steele, Smythe & Cabana high tail it to the back yelling at Evans and Hansen. Evans and Hansen stand in the ring after they leave for a big pop and then head to the back themselves, showing their superiority before the handicap match tonight.

"I" by Petey Pablo hits and "the Greensburg Gangsta" Jimmy Vega$ comes out to the ring being accompanied by Samu. Samu has a shirt on that says "One Hit Wonder" I wonder what that's about. Vegas and Samu stand in the ring and then "Aerials" by System Of A Down plays and the crowd cheers as "the Soviet Shooter" Nikita Allanov comes storming out from behind the curtain. He takes the black towel off his head and throws it down and gets in the ring. Referee Steven Colter forces Samu to get to the outside and then asks for the bell to be rung to start the match.

****Vegas and Allanov lock up. Vegas breaks the lock up and then shoves Allanov. Allanov tags him with an open palm strike to the head. Vegas staggers backwards and Allanov whips him into the ropes. Vegas comes back and Allanov gets a high angle back body drop on the big man. Vegas hits the mat hard and rolls to the outside to recuperate. Allanov motions for him to get back in the ring and eventually Vegas does get back in. He walks up to Allanov and the two lock up again. This time Allanov applies a side headlock, and then from there gets a drop toe hold to take Vegas down. Allanov attempts to apply a crossface, but Vegas fights out of it. Allanov picks Nikita up and pushes him into the corner. Vegas delivers a big chop to Allanov, but Nikita switches places with Vegas and then just lights him up with three chops to the chest. Allanov whips Vegas into the opposite corner. Vegas hits the corner hard and stalls there to recover. Nikita runs at him, but Vegas moves. Allanov stops just before hitting the corner though, and grabs Vegas and bashes his face off the top turnbuckle. Allanov then hits a side suplex on Vegas. Allanov picks up Vegas and sets him up for a piledriver, but Vegas blocks it. Steven Colter is strangely out of position as Vegas back body drops Allanov into Colter. Oh...that's why. Colter is down and Samu throws a chair into the ring for Vegas. Allanov stands up and Vegas swings for the fences, but cannot connect. Allanov kicks Samu in the stomach and takes the chair from Vegas. Nikita hits Vegas in the back. Samu slides in the ring and Allanov smacks Vegas with the chair for the second time. Samu waits for Nikita to turn around and hits Allanov with a vicious superkick to the chin. Allanov drops like a ton of bricks. Samu takes the chair and gets out of the ring. Steven Colter is still down, but Jimmy Vegas covers Allanov anyway. He lays on Allanov for about 10 seconds until Colter sees the cover. 1--------2------------3!!!****

Winner by pinfall: Jimmy Vega$ by pinfall at 06:31

Vegas and Samu get in the ring and decide they're not done inflicting damage on Allanov and Vegas grabs Nikita and holds him to allow Samu to unload with several punches to Allanov's stomach and chest. All of a sudden Bigg runs out to the ring and clotheslines Samu. Vegas drops Nikita and he and Samu run away. Before they get all the way to the back Bigg is on the mic.

Bigg: Hey Samu...you scared? Didn't expect to see me back any time soon did ya? Well guess what? I'm back and in the best shape of my life! So why don't you stop being a bitch and get in the ring with me! Not tonight...but in two weeks. Loser Leaves Town...me and you, what do you say Samu?

Samu nods his head in agreeance and then gives Bigg the finger before he and Vegas head out of sight. Bigg is pleased with the developments and Nikita Allanov shakes his hand and the two head to the back.

"Personal Jesus" by Lollipop Lustkill hits and Sterling James Keenan makes his way out to the ringside area. But instead of going into the ring, and instead heads over to the sound engineer's booth. He walks up the steps to where the sound guy is standing and walks over to the sound guy and gets in his face.

SJK: What the hell is your problem man?

Sound Guy: What're you talking about?

SJK: I'm talking about you costing me the battle royal in Martin's Ferry by playing Balls Mahoney's music and distracting me!

SG: C'mon man, I was paid to do it! I had to!

SJK: Who paid you asshole?

SG: I can't say.

Sterling grabs the sound guy by his shirt.

SJK: If it wasn't for you, I'd be the one in the main event tonight...NOT CHRIS TAYLOR!

SG: Look man, I'm really sorry, but I was just doing my job!

SJK: Just doing your job huh? Well isn't that just great...you do your job, and screw me outta mine! You better give me a good reason not to toss your ass off this booth and down onto the concrete!

SG: Please don't man! Come on! I'm just trying to do my job!

SJK keeps getting closer and closer to the man and backs him up. The sound engineer is getting closer and closer to the edge of the booth when the crowd pops as SCCW PCA "the Franchise" Shane Douglas comes out and walks over to the sound booth.

Douglas: Sterling, Sterling, listen...I was the one who paid Johnny off to play Balls' music!

SJK lets go of Johnny, and comes down from the booth and gets in Shane Douglas' face.

SJK: Why Shane? Just answer me that!

Douglas: Oh, it's just my way of building intrigue.

SJK: FOR WHAT?!?!?!?

Douglas: For your match against Balls Mahoney in two weeks in West Mifflin!

SJK gulps big and looks scared shitless, and shakes his head no. He begs Shane to rethink the decision.

Douglas: I'm sorry Sterling, but the match has already been signed and Balls is scheduled to appear. There's no way in hell this match ain't happening!

SJK: Change the match or I'll kick your ass!

Douglas: You lay even a fingernail on me, and your match against Balls will be your last for a long time! Then again...it might be that way anyway after Balls is done with you! But for now...go ahead and enjoy your night!

Douglas heads to the back and a pissed off SJK breaks a bunch of stuff around him. He eventually has enough of the fans chanting "Balls" at him and he heads to the back pissed off.

"Eyeless" by Slipknot hits and "Big" John Bolen makes his way to the ring accompanied by Scott Venom and All Business Brant. He gets in the ring and raises his arms to play to the crowd. The crowd boos and Venom tells them all to shut their mouths. They don't appreciate that and give him the business. That man gets a ton of heat.

"You Shook Me All Night" by AC/DC begins to play and the crowd cheers loudly as Brandon K struts his way out from the curtain. He comes down the aisle and plays to the fans. He slides in the ring and taunts Venom and Brant to the crowd's delight. Venom and Brant are forced out of the ring and the bell is rung to start the match.

****Brandon K sticks his hand out to Bolen, and as Bolen goes to shake his hand, K moves his hand and slicks his hair back with it. Brandon K does his usual impression of one of the many wrestlers he ripped off and struts around the ring ala Ric Flair. He turns around to strut back towards Bolen and Bolen has enough and just levels K with a big lariat sending Brandon flipping through the air. Some in the crowd actually cheer as Brandon K gets crushed. Bolen picks K up and whips him into the ropes. Bolen just throws his body at Brandon K, knocking him down to the mat. K pops right back up as if to say it didn't hurt him, and Bolen just shoves him full blast into the ropes. K bounces off and lunges at Bolen, and cold cocks him in the face. That looked legit. Brandon K is pissed and yells "COME ON!" to Bolen. Who does, and kicks K in the stomach. Bolen gets a massive hip toss on Brandon K. K flies a good eight feet high and hits his back hard on the mat. Bolen picks K back up and whips him hard into the corner. Bolen runs at him and hits a big clothesline. K bounces back towards the middle of the ring, and Bolen kicks him in the face. K is down and seemingly out. The crowd is split 50/50. Half is booing Bolen like he just murdered Santa Claus, and the other half is cheering him like he just murdered Santa Claus. Bolen's charges Scott Venom and All Business Brant try to get the crowd back against their monster, and are for the most part successful. Bolen picks Brandon K up and sets him up for a piledriver or a powerbomb or something. Oh...it's a powerbomb! A big one! Bolen hits a very forceful powerbomb and Brandon K is in trouble. A big elbow drop from Bolen and then a legdrop. Bolen picks Brandon K up and places him on the top rope. Bolen grabs Brandon K and bodyslams him off the top rope. Venom and All Business Brant mockingly beg Bolen to end the match, and not kill Brandon K. Bolen covers K, but on two he lifts Brandon by the hair and picks him back up. Bolen continues with a big head slap and Brandon K crumples to the mat. Bolen taunts the crowd. I'll say one thing for this match...it's stiff as all hell. Bolen is distracted by a kid in the front row making fun of him. In a tasteless act, Bolen calls the kid a retard and tells him to go home. Classy. Behind Bolen, Brandon K staggers to his feet. Bolen turns around and sees K standing there, he goes for a big boot, but Brandon K rolls out of the way, and sweeps John Bolen's leg out from under him. Bolen hits the mat for the first time all match, and Brandon K is a house of fire. He hops up to the top rope and leaps off, and hits Bolen in the back with a big elbow drop. Bolen is holding his back in pain. Brandon K turns to the crowd to rile them up. But Scott Venom jumps up on to the apron and distracts Brandon K. K turns his back, then spins around and connects with a large right hand to Venom's face knocks Venom off the apron. K turns around, proud of himself and turns right into a big spinebuster from John Bolen. Bolen covers Brandon K. 1---2---3!!!****

Winner by pinfall: "Big" John Bolen at 08:31

Bolen's undefeated streak continues. He's catching on, and getting over pretty well. He's gonna be a big deal in SCCW before long.

"Clavicle" by Alkaline Trio cues up and Matt Sydal runs out to the ring. The crowd gives him a polite reaction for having never seen him in action, well for most of the audience anyway. Sydal hops up onto the second rope and poses for the crowd. The girls go nuts...cuz he's hot. Sydal hops down and allows SCCW Referee Bryce Remsburg to check his boots and kneepads for any weapons...other than his knees and feet. "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J hits and "Fabulous" John McChesney comes out and walks down the aisle. The crowd loves this young man, and for good reason, every time he's in the ring he puts on a show and gives his all. Fab gets in the ring and Remsburg checks his boots and knee pads too.

****Fab and Sydal shake hands and then circle each other. The feeling out process begins as each man gets an armdrag on their opponent. They stand face to face in the center of the ring and then lock up with a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Sydal wins this one and drops McChesney with a drop toe hold. Sydal locks on an armbar, but McChesney is able to roll over and get to the ropes. Sydal breaks the hold and both men are back up. Another tie-up and once again Sydal has the upperhand as he backs McChesney into the corner. Remsburg gets between the two to separate them, but when he's not paying attention Fab rakes Sydal in the eyes. Sydal does his best Ray Charles impression and acts like he can't see shit, and John McChesney gets a clothesline on him. Sydal hits the mat hard and McChesney gets a quick legdrop. Fab goes for a quick pin, but Sydal's out before one. McChesney applies a rear chinlock. Remsburg is good to check for the choke, but McChesney isn't choking Sydal. Sydal manages to get his feet on the ropes, forcing Fab to break the hold. Sydal is back up as the referee makes McChesney back off. Fab runs at Sydal, but gets back body dropped over the top rope and down to the floor. McChesney hits hard. Ouch. Sydal runs to the ropes as McChesney stands up, and Sydal gets a springboard plancha on McChesney. Both men are down on the floor outside. Bryce Remsburg administers his 10-count. On the count of 8, Sydal slides in the ring. Remsburg does his best Bryan McKnight impression and starts back at one, counting John McChesney out. McChesney's back in on 6. Sydal goes for the kill and begins to stomp away on McChesney. Fab fights his way back to his feet though, and the two youngsters trade right hands for a bit and then McChesney has enough and grabs Sydal and just tosses him into the corner. Fab goes in and chops Sydal. McChesney kicks Sydal in the stomach. McChesney climbs over top of Sydal, and sets him up for some kind of move, I'm not sure what though. McChesney has Sydal's head between his legs. Oh. Piledriver. Sydal has to be dead. Just has to be. But somehow he kicks out on two. Maybe just a muscle reaction. Definately gotta be dead though. McChesney is going to the top rope. McChesney comes off the top for a big splash, but Sydal moves and Fab hits the mat hard. Sydal rolls to the ropes and gets up to his feet. McChesney stands up and Sydal hits a superkick to John McChesney. Fab bounces off the ropes and runs at Sydal, Sydal gets a rolling boston crab on McChesney. Fab comes close to tapping out, but manages to get to the ropes. Sydal breaks the hold and picks Fabulous up. Sydal hits a snap suplex. Sydal is about to go to the top for himself, but out of nowhere someone shoves him off the top. The bell rings as "Satan's Assassin" Jake Garrett gets in the ring with a chair. McChesney is up and takes a huge chairshot to the head, busting him wide open. Matt Sydal is back up, and he too takes a big chairshot.****

Match ruled a NO CONTEST at 06:42

After the match, with Sydal and McChesney laid out in the ring, Garrett is on the mic.

Garrett: Y'know...I can't believe you fans actually wanna see these little assholes in the ring...doing their little flippy moves. Especially when you can see big powerful wrestlers like myself beating the living hell out of each other! Well I'm declaring war against those little bastards! At SCCW's first show of 2006, I'm issuing an open challenge to any lightweight wrestler who thinks they can beat me! I'm out to prove heavyweight superiority!

Garrett heads to the back to a chorus of boos and then Sydal and McChesney help each other to the back.

Kingdom James is in the ring for his interview segment.

Kingdom: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time..."the Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy!

"Touch Me" by Samantha Fox hits and the SCCW Tag Team Champion Eric Xtasy makes his way out to the ring to a big pop. He gets in the ring and takes off his pink feathered boa and puts it around Kingdom's neck.

Kingdom: Thanks for the boa, Eric. But let's get down to business. Two weeks ago...Martin's Ferry, Ohio, you chose one half of Southern Comfort, Tracy Smothers to be your partner in your tag title defense against the Virgin Suicides. Well eventhough you two were successful and you retained your titles, after the match Smothers attacked you, and told you to get a partner, and be ready because he and partner Chris Hamrick were gonna take the belts away from you. Well the question I pose to you is twofold. First off, do you have a partner already selected? And two...if you do, can you tell us who it is?

Xtasy: Well first off let me start by saying that it was MY mistake by trusting Tracy Smothers. He's a veteran. He's going to do whatever he can to win whatever titles he can. That said, I am totally ready for tonight's defense, and yes I do indeed have a tag team partner selected. But I won't reveal it, because if I tip my hand to Southern Comfort...they will have a huge advantage. But let's just say...me and my partner are gonna walk out of here tonight as the SCCW Tag Team Champions!

"Touch Me" plays again and Xtasy heads to the back and Kingdom James goes over to the announce position. I guess a DVD for this show's on the way too. Sweet.

Hank Hudson: Wrestling fans, this following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish. It is a four-corners tag team elimination match in which the winning team will receive the first SCCW Tag Team title shot of 2006!

"Firestorm" by Earth Crisis plays and Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition, Youthanazia run down to the ring. They get in the ring and then pose for the crowd as "Cleveland Rocks!" plays and the crowd boos very loudly as Abdul Hassan and Dick Trimmins, the Cleveland Connection, make their way out to the ring. They get a ton of heat, and they make sure to get even more by insulting the crowd on the way to the ring. They get in the ring and the trash talking starts and referee Steven Colter has a tough time keeping the teams separated as "Turn The Page" by Metallica hits and the Gambino Brothers Moving Company comes out from behind the curtain. They get the biggest pop of all the teams in the match as they run into the ring and join in on the trash talking with the other teams. "Let's Get Retarded" by the Black Eyed Peas plays and DUH, "Disabled" Dash Bennett and "Syko" Sean Dahmer come out to the ring, they slide in the ring and go right after the Gambino Brothers. All four men battle and some of the action spills out onto the floor.

****All eight men brawl until we're left with just two men in the ring, Dash Bennett and Mickey Gambino. Dash and Mickey are trading right hands with Mickey kicks Dash in the stomach. Mickey runs off the ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker on Dash. Gambino picks Dash up and whips him into the corner. Dash hits the corner hard and Mickey tags in his tag team partner Marshall Gambino as soon as Marshall gets up on the apron. Marshall charges at Dash, but Dash moves out of the way. Marshall stops just short of hitting the corner, but Dash Bennett hits a lariat to the back of Marshall's head, sending him into the corner. Youthanazia and the Cleveland Connection are both back up on the apron and we have a legitimate match. Dash takes Marshall and snap mares him over, and then kicks him square in the back. Dash goes over and tags in Abdul Hassan. Hassan comes in and picks Marshall up. Hassan pokes Marshall in the eye and then kicks him in the shin. Hassan then tags his partner Dick Trimmins in. Trimmins comes in and runs at Marshall and hits a high knee lift. Trimmins then drops an elbow on Marshall as he lays prone on the mat. Trimmins picks Marshall up and drags him over to the corner and tags in Sean Dahmer. Dahmer comes in clotheslines Marshall. Dahmer hits a knee drop. Then Dahmer drags Marshall over to his corner. He goes to put Marshall in the corner, but Marshall fights out and unloads with a right hand on Dahmer. Marshall tags in Dahmer's partner Dash Bennett. Bennett comes in and the two men refuse to fight. When referee Steven Colter tells them they have to make contact with each other before tagging out, Dash Bennett looks like he has an idea. He and Dahmer "huddle up" and then all of a sudden Bennett lays on the mat. Dahmer quickly covers him. Steven Colter stands there surprised, then finally hits the mat to make the count, 1---2---3!!!****

ELIMINATED: DUH by pinfall at 06:37

****Colter explains to them that by being pinned, they both have to leave. DUH thought they won the titles that way. Everyone laughs at them as they leave the ringside area angry. Matt Cross gets in the ring and he's joined by Mickey Gambino. They shake hands and then begin to circle each other and feel each other out. Mickey locks Matt Cross in a hammerlock. Cross tries in vain to grab Mickey's leg, and when he cant's resorts to elbowing Gambino in the face. Mickey then eventually pushes Cross to the ropes and Cross runs back at Mickey. Mickey ducks to the mat, and Cross runs over him. Dick Trimmins sticks out his knee and knees Matt Cross in the back. Cross doubles over holding his back and Mickey Gambino manages to hit a nice looking ddt on him. Mickey covers Cross. 1--2--Cross kicks out barely. Gambino walks over to his corner and tags in his brother Marshall. Marshall comes in and Matt Cross makes it to his corner and tags in Josh Prohibition. Josh leaps into the ring and runs right at Marshall, but Marshall hits a back body drop. Marshall turns around and drops a knee on Prohibition's chest. Marshall covers Josh, 1--2--Josh kicks out. Marshall picks him and shoves him into the corner. Marshall delivers a few hard knee strikes to Prohibition's midsection. Marshall with a big hiptoss that sends Josh flying into the middle of the ring. Marshall runs across the ring and tags in Dick Trimmins. Trimmins gets in the ring and runs at Prohibition who is prone on the mat. Trimmins tries a big splash, but Prohibition rolls out of the way and manages to crawl to his corner and tag in Matt Cross. Cross is back in and just Dick Trimmins gets up, Cross dropkicks Trimmins in the leg. Trimmins hits the mat hard. Running senton onto Trimmins' back. Cross stands right back up and runs up the ropes in the corner close to the Gambinos. Cross dives off the top turnbuckle and hits a cross body block on Mickey Gambino who is standing on the apron. The crowd chants "HOLY SHIT!" as both men plunge down to the concrete floor. Colter begins to count Matt Cross out. Colter gets to 8 and Josh Prohibition comes in the ring and distracts him to stop the count. Colter makes Josh leave the ring and Abdul Hassan jumps down off the apron. Hassan goes over to where Prohibition is standing and pulls him off the apron. Josh hits his chest off the apron, and then Hassan whips him into the wooden barricade. Colter's count is back up to 8 when Cross finally crawls back into the ring. He uses the ropes to pull himself up, but Marshall Gambino manages to run at him and hit a big lariatooooo that sends Cross flipping through the air. Trimmins drags Cross into the middle of the ring and tags Hassan in. Hassan climbs to the top rope and grabs onto Trimmins' hands. Trimmins tosses Hassan, flipping him over and dropping Hassan onto Cross with a huge top rope senton. Hassan covers Cross. 1---2--3!!!****

ELIMINATED: Youthanazia by pinfall at 10:48

****Mickey Gambino gets back in the ring with Abdul Hassan and they lock up. Hassan gets a side headlock and hammers away on Gambino's head with a few right hands. Gambino counters it with a side suplex however. Hassan is laying on the mat trying to recover and Mickey tags in his brother Marshall. Marshall Gambino is in and as soon as Hassan stands up, he gets knocked right back down with a big right hand from Marshall. Marshall runs over to Dick Trimmins and knocks him off the apron too, but as he's distracted by that Abdul Hassan gets to his knee and low blows Marshall. Marshall doubles over in pain and Hassan hits him with a bulldog. Dick Trimmins is back up and Hassan tags him in. Trimmins comes in and stomps on Marshall. Trimmins bends down and slaps Marshall in the back of the head. Trimmins picks him up and whips him into the ropes. Marshall comes back at Dick, and Dick hits a Bossman Slam on him, and then covers him, but Marshall kicks out on two. Trimmins runs off the ropes and tries for a big splash, but Marshall rolls out of the way. Trimmins his stomach first on the mat. Marshall picks him up and tosses him hard into his own corner. Trimmins tags in Abdul Hassan. Hassan comes in and runs at Marshall Gambino like he's attempting a double axe handle, but Marshall kicks him in the stomach and then holds him in position for a back breaker. Mickey Gambino jumps up to the top rope and comes down and legdrops Abdul Hassan while Marshall hits a backbreaker on him. Mickey runs over and makes sure Dick Trimmins can't come back in the ring by knocking him off the apron with a flying forearm. Marshall covers Hassan. 1---2---3!!!****

Winners by pinfall at 13:15: Mickey and Marshall the Gambino Brothers!

"Turn The Page" plays as the Gambinos make their way to the back in celebration. The ring is cleared and then SCCW Senior Official Sean Patrick is out for the next match.

Hank Hudson: This following match is scheduled for one fall, with a one hour time limit. In this match, if Devin Devine wins, he gets a contract to wrestle in SCCW! Introducing first, from Memphis, Tennessee...he is "the King Of Men" Devin Devine!

"Ode To Joy" plays and Devine makes his way out to the ring to a huge chorus of boos. Before he can even get in the ring, his opponent Quinn Magnum runs out and attacks him. Magnum picks him up and snake eyes him on the ring apron. Devine is hurt and Magnum whips him into the wood barricade. Quinn rolls Devine into the ring and now the match is underway.

****Quinn picks Devine up and gets a short-arm clothesline. Quinn stomps away on Devin and then picks him up again and body slams him hard to the ground. As Devine holds his back in pain Quinn Magnum goes over to the corner where Devin's PWX Heavyweight Title is sitting. Quinn hoists it high over his head and the crowd goes crazy. Devin Devine runs at Quinn. Quinn just reacts and and turns around and smashes Devine in the face with the title. Referee CJ Sensation calls for the bell.****

Winner by disqualification: "King Of Men" Devin Devine at 3:01

Quinn argues with the referee saying it was an accident, but CJ Sensation won't budge. Devine grabs his belt and rolls out of the ring. He hoists the title over his head and celebrates as he heads to the back. Quinn is pissed and he kicks referee CJ Sensation in the stomach and then powerbombs him to a big pop. A pissed off Quinn Magnum then heads to the back as SCCW Officials help CJ Sensation to the back.

After the ring is cleared the ring crew comes out and sets up the set for Cupo's Party Bus segment. "Louie Louie" hits, but instead of Cupo coming down to the ring, it's Jamie Ausmus and REVOLUTION neXt. Ausmus has a bunch of pillows stuffed in his toga and Jason Cage and Dan Miles are dressed up like the Tri-Chi's. They get in the ring and Ausmus gets on the mic.

Ausmus: Duh...tonight my guests are my tag team friends the Tri-Chi Paternity...Hummer and Shitz! Guys...tonight we gotta wrassle Rev...Re...Re...Restitution X! I hope they don't beat us too bad!

The crowd boos the horrible impression of the Tri-Chi's and Cupo. All of a sudden "Louie Louie" hits and the REAL Tri-Chi Fraternity and Cupo come running out to the ring along with colorblind referee Bruce Gray. Ausmus takes the pillows out of his toga and gets ready to fight.

****Hammer and Blitzz hit the ring first and go right for Miles and Cage. Blitzz clotheslines Miles over the top and down to the floor and then goes out after him. Hammer is punching Jason Cage in the corner when Jamie Ausmus comes over and attacks Hammer to help his partner. Cupo taps Ausmus on the shoulder and when Jamie turns around Cupo punches him in the face. Cupo clotheslines Ausmus out of the ring, and then Cupo goes to his corner. Blitzz gorilla presses Dan Miles onto the concrete floor and then goes back over to his corner to get the six-man tag underway. Hammer body slams Jason Cage in the middle of the ring and then elbow drops him. Hammer drags Cage into his corner and tags in QB Blitzz. Blitzz drops a knee on Cage's face and Cage writhes in pain. Blitzz picks Cage up and puts him the corner. Blitzz backs up and then charges toward Cage for a potential spear, but Cage moves out of the way and Blitzz hits his shoulder off the steel post. Cage school boys Blitzz, but can only get a 2 count. Cage then goes to work on Blitzz shoulder with a few kicks to the arm, and then he locks in an armbar. Blitzz makes it to the ropes, so Cage breaks the hold. Cage picks Blitzz up by the hair and whips him into the ropes. Blitzz hits the ropes by REVOLUTION neXt's corner, and Jamie Ausmus knees Blitzz hard in the back. Blitzz collapses and Cage tags in Ausmus. Jamie Ausmus comes in and while Blitzz is on one knee, Ausmus kicks him in the shoulder. Blitzz falls to the mat in pain and Ausmus applies a chickenwing to Blitzz's arm. Blitzz is screaming in pain, but he manages to get to his feet, with Ausmus draped on his back with the chickenwing locked on. Blitzz makes it over to the middle of the ring and then runs towards the corner, he dives to the mat, sending Jamie Ausmus face first into the corner. Ausmus hits his head and falls backwards. Blitzz tags Hammer back in. Hammer comes in and gets a running legdrop on Ausmus. He covers him 1--2--Dan Miles comes in and breaks the count. Cupo tries to come in and go after Miles, but referee Bruce Gray holds him back, allowing Jason Cage and Dan Miles to get a double suplex on Hammer. Miles picks Ausmus up and drags him back to REVOLUTION neXt's corner. Bruce Gray turns back around, and Ausmus manages to tag Dan Miles. Miles climbs up to the top rope and waits for Hammer to stand up. He does, and Dan Miles comes off the top for a crossbody, but Hammer catches him and then powerslams him. Hammer covers Miles, but Jason Cage breaks the count on 2. QB Blitzz comes in and goes right for Cage, clotheslining him over the top rope. Jamie Ausmus grabs Blitzz and tries to smash his head off the turnbuckle, but Blitzz blocks it and sends Ausmus' face crashing into the steel ring post. Ausmus falls to the concrete floor outside. Blitzz picks up Dan Miles, and places him on his shoulder. Hammer goes to the top rope, and comes off with a big shoulder block. As Hammer shoulderblocks Miles, Blitzz drops to the mat, and Miles gets twice the impact as he hits the mat. Cupo then comes in the ring and climbs to the 2nd turnbuckle. Cupo leaps off the 2nd turnbuckle, and just barely makes contact with Dan Miles on a big splash. Hammer covers Miles. 1--2--3!!!****

Winners by pinfall: the Tri-Chi Fraternity at 08:31

"Gash" by DJ Box hits and "The Spotlight" Scottie Gash comes out to a big pop. He poses for the crowd a bit then gets in the ring and is checked for foreign objects by referee Harold Potter. "Antichrist Superstar" by Marilyn Manson plays and SCCW Three Rivers Champion "the Aerial Icon" Justin Idol makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop. He slides in the ring, and poses with the belt. He hands the belt to Potter, who in turn shows it to Gash. Potter gives both men instructions and then asks for the bell.

****A tie-up to start, both men start off by chain wrestling and feeling each other out. They go back and forth until finally Scottie Gash puts Justin Idol down on the mat with a neckbreaker. Idol rolls out of the ring, but Gash doesn't let up and hits a baseball slide. Idol goes flying into the wooden barricade and hits his back hard. Gash goes outside and continues to go after Idol. Gash chops Idol a few times, and then whips him hard into the ring apron. Idol holds his back, Gash rolls him into the ring. Idol uses the ropes to pull himself up, and Gash is back in. Gash gets a hip toss and Idol is on the mat. Gash goes over and applies a headlock and holds it on for a bit. Idol eventually finds a way to wrangle his way out of it, but Gash gets an arm wringer on Idol on the mat. Idol rolls out of it, and kicks Gash right in the chest. Gash is knocked to the mat from the force, allowing Idol time to get to his feet. Gash is up, but Idol dropkicks him right back down. Idol picks Gash up and hits a suplex. Idol picks him up again, but Gash pushes Idol away. Idol gets knocked back into referee Harold Potter. Potter takes a bump and is down. While Potter is down Idol and Gash continue to wrestle, but everyone's attention is drawn away from the match and to the entranceway where "Big" John Bolen, Scott Venom, and All Business Brant are standing. They seem to be watching intently and taking notes. Idol back body drops Scottie Gash over the top and down to the floor, close to Bolen and company. While Gash is down, Scott Venom kicks him and John Bolen picks him up. Bolen picks him up and drops Gash chest first over the wooden barrier. Bolen continues to beat up Gash, until Justin Idol notices. Idol runs towards the ropes and leaps over them onto Bolen, but Bolen catches Idol and plants him on the concrete floor with a body slam. Bolen picks Idol up and rolls him into the ring. Harold Potter gets up just as John Bolen powerbombs Idol to the mat. Potter calls for the bell, but Bolen, Venom, and Brant all assault Idol, and Gash. All of a sudden Nikita Allanov comes out to make the save, and Venom and Brant run to the back. Allanov stands face-to-face in the ring with John Bolen. Bolen slowly backs out of the ring and heads to the back to join his managers. Allanov helps Idol up and shakes his hand. On the outside they help Gash up and Allanov escorts them to the back.****

Winner by Disqualification: SCCW Three Rivers Champion "the Aerial Icon" Justin Idol at 09:52

"Natural High" by The Union Underground blares through the speakers as "Mr. 21st Century" Chris Taylor and Krystol Frost make their way to the ring. The crowd boos Taylor, but I love his "Stupidity Causes Cancer" shirt. They get in the ring and Taylor is handed the microphone by Hank Hudson.

Taylor: Tonight is the night! All the years of hard work, of blood, of sweat, and of tears will finally pay off! Because tonight is the night that Chris Taylor proves he's the best damn wrestler that has ever set foot in an SCCW ring by defeating AJ Styles. Now, I know AJ has overcome the odds, and has beaten some very unbeatable opponents. But I'm not unbeatable...I'm just perfect! AJ, you've had some tough challenges since winning the title, but none have been tougher than I will be. I am going to beat AJ Styles from pillar to post, and I expect him to do the same to me. But where I will have the edge, is that I will not make a mistake! AJ, you won't be able to put me down like your other opponents. You're gonna have to kill me to beat me! And because of that, I'll just let you make a mistake...and then I will beat you. AJ, shine that belt up for the last time, because tonight it's gonna make it's home around my sexy waist. But if by some chance I do lose...I won't be afraid to do something drastic!

The music plays again and Taylor and Frost make their exit. Following that "Good Ol Boys" by Waylon Jennings plays and Southern Comfort, Tracy Smothers and Chris Hamrick make their way to the ring. They get in the ring and SCCW referee CJ Sensation checks both men for foreign objects as "Touch Me" by Samantha Fox hits and "the Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy comes out from behind the curtain to a big reaction. He takes his pink feathered boa off and gives it to a fan at ringside. Then Xtasy grabs the microphone.

Xtasy: Southern Comfort, you guys are veterans in this sport. And to be honest, the toughest challenge I've faced since winning the tag team championship. And when you're facing a challenge you look to your family for support! And there isn't one man in this business that I call my brother. Except "Balls Hot" Troy Lords! TROY GET OUT HERE!

The crowd pops for the returning Troy Lords. He comes out and he and Xtasy slide in the ring and pose with the tag team titles, but Southern Comfort jumps them from behind.

****Hamrick knocks Lords over the top rope and down to the floor. Xtasy and Smothers exchange right hands, until Chris Hamrick knees Xtasy in the back, and gets a big reverse ddt. Smothers is forced to leave the ring and we have a match as the bell rings. Hamrick picks Xtasy up and hits him with a European uppercut. Xtasy staggers back, but then turns back and hauls off and punches Hamrick in the face. Hamrick flies backwards and gets clotheslined by Xtasy. Hamrick is back up, and shoulder tackled back down. Hamrick is back up again and gets snap mared over by Xtasy. Xtasy kicks Hamrick hard in the back, and then tags in Troy Lords. Lords comes in for his first in-ring action in months and dropkicks Hamrick right in the face. Lords is on fire, and he runs off the ropes and hits a running fist drop on Hamrick. Lords is back up again and he turns to the crowd and raises his arms. The crowd pops for him again and he turns around just as Hamrick is getting up and gets a swinging neckbreaker. Lords covers Hamrick, 1--2--Smothers comes in and breaks the count. CJ Sensation forces Smothers back over to his corner. Lords picks Hamrick up, and attempts a suplex, but Hamrick blocks it, and then picks Lords up for a suplex, but then spins lets Lords fall and drops to his knee causing Lords to smash face first into Hamrick's knee. What a creative move. Hamrick doesn't let up and he picks Lords up and whips him hard into Southern Comfort's corner. Hamrick runs and hits a Lou Thesz press on Lords in the corner. Hamrick tags in Smothers. Smothers comes in and kicks Lords in the stomach, and then hits a European uppercut. He grabs Lords and pulls him to the middle of the ring and then sets him up for a pumphandle slam. Smothers has Lords up, but Lords somehow wriggles out of the move, and turns Smothers around and connects with a big chop to the throat. Smothers turns and falls to the ropes gasping for air. Lords runs at the ropes and comes off, along the way grabbing Smothers by the hair and hitting a reverse bulldog that sends the back of Smothers' head crashing into the mat. These guys obviously have been working on these spots. Lords covers Smothers, but Hamrick comes in and pulls Lords off. CJ Sensation forces Hamrick back out of the ring. While CJ is turned around, Eric Xtasy comes in the ring and picks Smothers up. Xtasy holds to allow Troy Lords to kick him, but Smothers mule kicks Xtasy in the groin, and he lets go just as Lords goes for the superkick. Smothers ducks, and Lords connects with Xtasy, knocking him through the ropes and to the concrete floor. Lords goes over to the ropes to see is Xtasy is okay and as soon as he turns around Tracy Smothers gets him with the Jaw Jacker! Lords is out. Smothers covers him. 1--2--3!!!****

Winners and NEW SCCW Tag Team Champions: Chris Hamrick & Tracy Smothers, Southern Comfort at 8:47

Southern Comfort is handed the tag titles and they celebrate their victory as they head to the back. Xtasy recovers from the kick and crawls into the ring to check on Lords. Lords gets up too, and he apologizes to Xtasy for losing. Xtasy says it's cool, g and the two men embrace and then Xtasy raises Lords' hand for the crowd to cheer him one more time before they head to the back.

Hank Hudson: The following contest is a handicap match! The man scoring the winning pinfall will become the #1 Contender for the SCCW Brass Knuckles Championship, and will meet champion Tyrone Evans in two weeks time! If Tyrone Evans scores the winning pinfall, he will be allowed to choose his own opponent. And now, introducing first from Chicago, Illinois, weighing 233 pounds..."CLASSIC" COLT CABANA!

"Calling Out" by Presence is heard as Colt Cabana comes out to a chorus of boos. He plays to the crowd and fires them up even more by telling them they all have sex with their sisters. Or something. "The Final Countdown" by Europe slowly begins...

Hudson: And his partners, making their way to the ring from Wheeling, West Virginia and Washington's Landing, Pennsylvania respectively...at a total combined weight of 457 pounds, "#1" Daron Smythe, and "the Manager Of Champions" BC Steele!

And it's heatzilla as Smythe and Steele emerge from the back. Steele tells the fans that they all sleep with their sisters. Oh man...I hope they planned that. Steele and Smythe get in the ring and the crowd boos them even more. "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed hits and "Hangman" Crusher Hansen runs out and slides in the ring, and the heels bail. "Upgrade Ya Life" by the Pittsburgh Rhythm Company hits and SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans comes out to a big pop also and hands the title to Hank Hudson as he exits the ring. Your referee is Bruce Gray.

****Cabana starts off in the ring with Crusher Hansen. Hansen and Cabana circle each other for a bit and then lock-up. The tie-up is broken when Hansen shoves Cabana down. Cabana gets back up and wants none of Hansen, and he tags Daron Smythe in. Smythe comes in asks Crusher for a knucklelock. Crusher obliges and wins easily until Smythe kicks him in the gut and gets a ddt. Smythe goes for the cover, but Hansen powers out of it right away. Hansen is up on his feet and Smythe runs at him with a clothesline, but Hansen ducks. Smythe keeps running and runs right into a right hand from Tyrone Evans. Smythe staggers into the middle of the ring and Hansen gets an ace crusher on Smythe. Smythe hits the mat, and Hansen covers him, but Colt Cabana breaks up the cover. Referee Bruce Gray makes Cabana leave the ring, and Daron Smythe low blows Hansen. Smythe crawls over to his corner, and tags in...BC STEELE?!?!?!? Steele comes in and stands in front of Crusher Hansen, who is on his knees holding his crotchal region. Steele slaps him in the face, and dances around. Steele does it again and then bends over and gets in Crusher's face and spits on him. Hansen grabs Steele by the shirt and just tosses him across the ring. Steele hits the mat and stands up, he tries to make a run for his corner, but Tyrone Evans grabs him by the shirt and yanks him back. Hansen stalks over to Steele and grabs him by the neck and pulls him to his feet. Hansen shoves Steele into the corner. Hansen administers some of the loudest, hardest chops I've ever heard to the chest of BC Steele. Hansen with another chop, then another, and then, after ripping Steele's shirt off to expose his bare chest...another. Steele screams as Hansen goes for another one, but then Hansen tags in Tyrone Evans, and holds Steele in the corner until Evans can take over. Tyrone grabs Steele and whips him across the ring into the corner. Steele hits hard, and the Upgrade charges, but Steele drops to the mat and crawls over to his corner and tags in Colt Cabana. Cabana comes in and charges Evans, but Evans meets him in the center of the ring with a big clothesline. Evans picks Cabana up and snap mares him down to the ground. Evans applies a rear chinlock that Bruce Gray is careful to check to make sure it's not a choke. While Gray is making sure it's not a choke, Daron Smythe comes in and kicks Evans in the back. Evans lets go of the chinlock and goes after Smythe who makes a quick exit. While Evans is yelling at Smythe Cabana is up and standing behind Evans. Evans turns around and Cabana gets a frankensteiner and holds Evans' legs for the cover, 1--2--but Evans kicks out. Cabana and Evans are both back to their feet and Cabana swings at Evans. Evans ducks and knees Cabana in the back. Evans grabs Cabana by the head and holds him as he tags in Crusher Hansen. Hansen comes in and grabs Cabana by the head as Evans exits the ring. Hansen sets Cabana up for a ddt, but Cabana pushes him way out of it and somehow gets a lariat on Hansen. Cabana tags in Smythe. Smythe comes in and picks Hansen up to his feet. Smythe punches Hansen with a few right hands, but Crusher manages to block one. Hansen swings at Smythe, but Smythe moves and Bruce Gray gets punched in the face, and drops to the mat, looking like a referee in a Butterbean fight. Colt Cabana jumps down off the apron, and runs over to his opponents' corner and pulls Evans off the apron. He and Evans begin to brawl on the outside. Smythe and Hansen exchange right hands, and Hansen comes out on top. BC Steele though grabs a chair and tosses it over to the corner closest to Smythe. Steele then gets in the ring and taunts Hansen. Hansen chases him around, and Smythe grabs the chair. Steele runs back towards Smythe, Hansen chases, Steele falls to the ground, Smythe turns around and crushes Hansen in the face with the chair. Hansen drops to the mat, Smythe tosses the chair out of the ring, and then Smythe goes outside to help Cabana brawl with Tyrone Evans. BC Steele looks around and then covers Crusher Hansen. Bruce Gray is starting to stir, and makes the count. 1-------2----------3!!!****

Winners by pinfall: "Classic" Colt Cabana, "#1" Daron Smythe, and BC Steele at 10:42

After the match Steele begins to celebrate...and then he realizes this means he has to wrestle Tyrone Evans...and his smile turns to a look of shock and horror. Smythe and Cabana get in the ring to celebrate with him, but he's about cry and doesn't want anything to do with it. Tyrone Evans gets the microphone from Hank Hudson.

Evans: Hey...Steele, our match in two weeks. Guess what? It's gonna be a STEEL CAGE MATCH!

The crowd pops huge and BC Steele collapses in fright. Steele faints and he's carried to the back. Crusher Hansen eventually comes to and gets told by Ty Evans what happened and begins to laugh hard. He gets out of the ring, and then SCCW Announcer Chuck Roberts gets in the ring.

Roberts: Fans, I'm out here tonight to thank you all for the great year we've had here in 2005! But also, let's look ahead to 2006! We have a lot of huge shows coming your way in '06. Including Burgh Brawl '06, the first ever SCCW Super Indy Tournament, SCCW Fan Appreciation Night, and the SCCW One Year Later Anniversary Show! Once again thank you fans for attending tonight and we hope to see you all at future SCCW events in 2006!

Roberts goes to leave and Sebastian Dark and Shirley Doe come out to the ring and get in Roberts' face. They back him into the corner.

Doe: This is ridiculous! They give you time to come out here and run your mouth, yet me and Sebastian are left off the card!

Roberts: Well I'm sorry, but that's not my...

Dark: WELL SOMEONE HAS TO PAY THE PRICE!

Shirley Doe grabs Chuck Roberts by the shirt while Sebastian Dark goes to the outside and goes under the ring and grabs a table. He slides the table in the ring and sets it up as Chuck Roberts is fighting being put through the table, but he can't fight it for long as Doe has Roberts up for a powerbomb. Sebastian Dark holds on to Chuck Roberts to add some power to the powerbomb, but Kingdom James slides in the ring to make the save, but Sebastian Dark clotheslines James. Doe finally puts Chuck Roberts through the table hard. Doe and Dark then turn their attention to Kingdom James and beat him down for a bit until they leave the ring to a big chorus of boos. The SCCW medical staff comes out to take care of Chuck Roberts and Kingdom James, and eventually get the ring cleared.

"Natural High" by the Union Underground hits and "Mr. 21st Century" Chris Taylor and his valet Krystol Frost make their way out to the ring for the big SCCW title match main event. They get in the ring and pose as the crowd boos. Then "Touched" by Vast begins and the crowd erupts for the SCCW Heavyweight Champion, "Phenomenal" AJ Styles. AJ comes out from behind the curtain and the crowd goes absolutely nuts. He shakes hands with the fans at ringside and then climbs up onto the apron. He turns his back to the ring to pose for the crowd and Chris Taylor runs at him, puts a knee in AJ's back, and knocks AJ off the apron and down onto the concrete floor in the aisleway.

****Taylor poses and the crowd boos and then he goes to the outside and grabs AJ. He slams AJ's face off the barrier and then rolls AJ back in the ring. Taylor follows AJ in and then kicks AJ a few times in the back. He picks AJ up and suplexes him down to the mat. Taylor picks AJ up again and tosses him into the corner. Taylor goes over to AJ and chops him in the chest a few times, and then climbs up to the second turnbuckle and begins to hammer away with punches to AJ's face. After about three punches, AJ Styles powerbombs Chris Taylor, and then covers him. 1--2--Taylor manages to kick out. AJ picks Chris Taylor back up and whips him into the ropes. Taylor comes off the ropes, and AJ tries for a back body drop, but Taylor leap frogs him, and comes back the other way and gets a bulldog on AJ. Taylor is up and hits a running knee drop to AJ's face. Taylor picks AJ back up and gets a tilt-a-whirl gut buster on AJ before going to the outside and climbing to the top turnbuckle. Chris Taylor tries for the home run elbow drop, but Styles rolls out of the way and Taylor's elbow gets driven right into the mat. Taylor holds his arm in pain and AJ is up. AJ runs off the ropes and gets a running senton on Taylor, and then applies an armbar. Chris Taylor comes close to tapping out, but Krystol Frost helps him get to the ropes. SCCW Senior Referee Sean Patrick forces AJ Styles to break the hold. Styles turns to get the crowd's approval and they pop big time. AJ picks Taylor up and sends him hard into the corner. Taylor bounces off the turnbuckles and AJ dropkicks him back into the corner. AJ runs at Taylor and walks up Taylor's body and gets a big ddt on him. Taylor is motionless, and AJ covers him. 1---2---Krystol Frost grabs Sean Patrick's leg and distracts him to break the count. AJ gets up and turns to yell at Krystol. AJ flies backwards into the ropes and Taylor runs at him and clotheslines him over the top and down to the floor. Chris Taylor climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and as AJ stands up Taylor leaps off and nails AJ with a flying crossbody. Referee Sean Patrick begins to count both men out, but Krystol Frost helps her charge, Chris Taylor up and rolls him in the ring on 7 to break the count. Patrick starts again to count AJ Styles out, but Styles is back in on 6, and Chris Taylor goes to work stomping on AJ. Taylor gets a side headlock, and then flips AJ over and Taylor holds the side headlock on AJ to wear him down. Taylor eventually gets AJ laying on the ground and keeps the headlock on. Taylor puts his feet up on the second rope to get additional leverage, until Sean Patrick spots it and kicks Taylor's feet off the ropes, causing his momentum to carry him over, and allow AJ to pull his head out of the hold and apply an armbar once again to Taylor's hurt arm. Taylor screams in pain, and gets close to tapping out, but Krystol Frost is up on the apron, Sean Patrick goes over to ask her to get down, and Taylor begins to tap out. The crowd is very hot right now and are screaming at Frost. AJ gets pissed and lets go of the hold and walks over to Frost and yells at her again, she goes to slap him, but he grabs her arm. Guest -De\/ilock-

*sigh* I wish Pittsburgh Indies drew 1,000+ fans in real life.

Anyways, I'm just starting to get caught up again. I like the more often updated newswires. And bringing in Sydal, Delirious, HT, and Larry Sweeney is pure money. It's good to see the IWC rookies doing so well too.

Keep up the good work! I'll be reading.
