AJ Styles Injured! Will Miss First Show Of 2006!

AJ Styles was the victim of a beating at the hands of Chris Taylor and his valet Krystol Frost at the end of Final Resolution. Styles was placed into a hospital overnight for precautionary measures and early indications are that he suffered a concussion, and some sort of neck injury from the spike piledriver. It appears as if AJ will miss the next SCCW event, taking place in West Mifflin, PA at CCAC Boyce Campus. AJ should be back in action for the following show in McKeesport at the SCCW Sportatorium.

Doe And Dark Challenged!

Sebastian Dark and Shirley Doe made their presence felt at Final Resolution but putting SCCW Announcer Chuck Roberts through a table. Roberts suffered no major injuries but was sore after the show. Well one SCCW announcer would not stand for the attack. Kingdom James tries to help Roberts, but the numbers game got the best of him. Kingdom James has issued the following statement to SteelCityWrestling.com...

"Shirley Doe and Sebastian Dark are scum. To put it bluntly the attack they leveled on Chuck Roberts was dispicable and they deserved to be suspended or worse, fired from SCCW because of it. But because SCCW has no rules against violence on announcers no sanctions will be issued. Well Doe and Dark have to learn that there are consequences to every action. Therefore I, Anthony Kingdom James, am issuing a challenge to those two scumbags. At SCCW's first show of 2006, in West Mifflin, PA...home of the Community College of Allegheny County, Doe and Dark will be just like most students of CCAC, they will be taught a lesson. If they have the guts to show up, in street clothes or wrestling gear, I will be waiting with a mystery partner. Someone both of them know quite well. And we'll all see how tough Doe and Dark are when they are standing face-to-face with actual trained wrestlers. Doe, Dark you two better be ready, because on January 07...you two are going to be in for a beating."

No word yet on if Dark and Doe have accepted the challenge or not, but SteelCityWrestling.com will keep you posted as developments arise.

Main Event On January 7 To Be Steel Cage Match!

Few matches in wrestling are feared like the steel cage match. Two men enter the ring, and are locked inside. Surrounded on all four sides by a fifteen feet high steel structure that is sure to keep those outside of the ring outside. And keep the competitors inside, inside. On January 07, SCCW's first ever steel cage match will take place. After scoring the winning pinfall in a handicap match at Final Resolution, SCCW's "Manager Of Champions" BC Steele has the chance to become a champion himself. That is if he can make it out of the steel cage uninjured. And against SCCW Brass Knuckles Champion "the Upgrade" Tyrone Evans that is a tough task. SteelCityWrestling.com contacted BC Steele for an interview, but Steele declined to comment, but only said that his lawyers are looking into the legality of being forced into a match as dangerous as this. Steele said he'll make his feelings known on the 7th.

Balls Mahoney Returns To Pittsburgh!

January 7, 2006 also marks the return to the Pittsburgh area of Balls Mahoney. Mahoney's clashes in Pittsburgh with the likes of the Blue Meanie, Vince Kaplack, Shirley Doe, and Stevie Richards are legendary. This time however Mahoney gets a chance to shut the mouth of the young, brash superstar on the rise Sterling James Keenan. Can SJK continue to make a name for himself at the expense of Balls Mahoney? Or will Balls teach SJK that running your mouth can get you in trouble.
