Huey Lewis & the News - The Power of Love

Can anybody tell me which movies have featured this song? I've heard it recently, and I know i've heard it on a movie or two, and it's driving me nuts. Something 80's, most probably.

It's on Back to the Future (Not sure about the number). It's a good song IMO, really catchy. Plus the gag in Family Guy had me in stitches, one of the funniest thigns i've seen on the program.

I don't remember Huey Lewis ever being on Family Guy. I know it was referred to on Futurama, or at least the Sports album. I know Simple Minds and Air Supply got songs on Family Guy though.

Yes! I was thinking Back To The Future but wasn't sure. It definately has a feel-good 80's end-credits feel to to it. It's probably used in more movies than that though.

...and no it's completely different to the Jennifer Rush song.

Pointless trivia #1:

The year that Huey Lewis - Power Of Love went to Number 1 (I believe in the US, maybe the UK as well), was the only year that 3 seperate acts had hit the top with 3 songs of the same name, with none of them being the same song.

If you can name the 3rd act (Jennifer Rush was the second), a cookie to you...

Wasnt it played in American Psycho, when he is about to kill Jared Letto's character. I think it comes on before Its Hip to be Square. Or maybe they just played Its Hip to be Square.
