Apocalypse Now kiiiind of has that ending, because you aren't expecting.

That the Colonel wants Martin Sheen to just hack him to death but he does.

That is the only one I can think of at the moment.

The only one I can think of is the ending to Star Trek: Nemesis. Not so much of a massive surprise because I was told going into the film that someone would die, just didn't know who.

omg how could I forget that the biggest swerve possibly and the worst ending to a movie ever.... great movie though and the ending made me laugh but I wanted more.

The End of Evangelion:

"OMG Asuka's alive WTF"

Although really the only reason this is a swerve is because the first time you watch this movie you don't know what the fuck's going on by this point anyway, so pretty much anything would come as a huge shock at this stage. :shifty:
