Segment 1: SummerSlam Recap

(6 Minutes)

To begin this week's RAW, we were shown a recap in pictures of what went down last night at the joint-brand extravaganza, WWE SummerSlam. A short recap of Trish and Lita pinning each other was followed by Benoit making Hassan tap out. The final two picture recaps were a bit longer, Shelton Benjamin beating Triple H due to Ric Flair's shocking actions and Batista's successful defense of the World Heavyweight title, beating Edge. The video finished with a picture of Batista raising the title belt in the air and Jim Ross's commentary of "Batista retains the World Heavyweight title! He might just be the most dominating champion in WWE history!".

Overall Rating = 72.3%

Segment 2: Unforgiven Main Event Decided

(19 Minutes)

The World Heavyweight Champion, Batista, made his way to the ring to a huge ovation. After posing for the fans, 'The Animal' grabbed a microphone and said that one more challenger for his title had come, and one more challenger had fallen. He could now add Edge to his list of victories. The champion continued to talk about his impressive title defense last night, also saying that he was the most dominant champion in World Wrestling Entertainment history. There were plenty more challengers to come, said Batista, and he'd already crossed Triple H and Edge off of his list. 'The Animal' then asked that the next challenger come to the ring, because he was ready. After a long pause, Chris Benoit's music hit and the crowd cheered. Benoit walked to the ring and took another microphone. 'The Crippler' had the WWE Intercontinental Championship belt around his waist, which he barely had time to acknowledge before he was interrupted by RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff's music. Bischoff joined the champions in the ring and said that Batista's win last night was impressive, as was Benoit's. He then informed Benoit that he couldn't give him a title shot, because he already had important responsibilities as the Intercontinental champion. Benoit then yelled at the GM, saying that he'd said before that he didn't give a damn about the Intercontinental Championship. He wanted the World Heavyweight Championship, and he was willing to give up the Intercontinental title for it. Bischoff replied to say that he thought the fans wanted Benoit to fight for them as the Intercontinental Champion, showing them respect that he's received from them over the years. Benoit, shockingly, responded that he didn't care about the fans any more, all he cared about was the World title. Benoit then chucked the Intercontinental title at Bischoff's feet as the crowd booed loudly. Batista then interjected and said he didn't mind what Benoit or Bischoff was going to do, because he would beat Benoit, just as he beat Edge and Triple H. He, however, would do it because the people wanted to see it. Bischoff had to seperate Benoit and Batista as they went nose-to-nose. The GM then quickly announced that the WWE Intercontinental Championship was now vacant, and the former champion, Chris Benoit, would challenge Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven!

Overall Rating = 69.4%

Segment 3: Rob Conway vs. Muhammad Hassan w/Daivari

(16 Minutes)

Muhammad Hassan was trying to take out his frustrations after losing the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. Conway wasn't a pushover, though, and drilled Hassan with some power moves, a big powerslam being the most damaging. Daivari's distraction of the referee brought Hassan back into the match as he hit a low blow on Conway to block a suplex attempt. Hassan then connected with a suplex of his own. The Arab-American wore down Conway with a modified cobra clutch-type move, but the former French sympathiser battled back and dropped Hassan with a jawbreaker. Conway began to rally with some punches and slams, but suddenly Sylvain Grenier came out of nowhere and got onto the apron, threatening to get into the ring. As the referee dealt with him, Rene Dupree slid in the other side of the ring and walloped Conway with a flag pole shot! The referee turned to see Hassan delivering his modified STO and the 3 count followed.

Following the match, Grenier and Dupree got in the ring and yelled at Conway, saying 'that's what you get for leaving La Resistance' and insultingly kicking and slapping him a couple of times before leaving.

Winner: Muhammad Hassan

Segment 4: Edge Isn't Happy

(8 Minutes)

Shelton Benjamin is walking backstage with a big smile on his face when Edge walks over to him. Edge wonders why Shelton is so happy. It was a bad day according to Edge because Batista was still the World Heavyweight Champion. Shelton then remembered that Edge had lost at SummerSlam and Shelton had beaten a future hall-of-famer. Benjamin mocked Edge and then walked off, but was soon jumped from behind by Edge. Edge threw Shelton around the backstage area, finishing off the assault by spearing him into a door. Edge had a sadistic look on his face as he walked away.

Overall Rating = 76.8%

Segment 5: Women's Title Situation

(6 Minutes)

We switched backstage scenes and saw Lita enter Eric Bischoff's office. Trish Stratus was already in there and Bischoff had the WWE Women's Title in his hands. Lita and Trish exchanged looks of hatred. The General Manager recapped the match at SummerSlam, remembering that Trish and Lita both pinned each other at the same time, meaning they were the co-Women's Champion. This news didn't go down too well, but Bischoff ignored the complaints and said that they would take it in turns to defend the title, and when he thought the time was right, they would face each other for the title... if they were still champions. Bischoff laughed and said that the first defense would be next week when Trish will defend the title against Victoria.

Overall Rating = 62.4%

Segment 6: R-I-P?

(5 Minutes)

Backstage, Maria was standing by with 'The Legend Killer' Randy Orton. Maria asked Orton his thoughts on the message sent from Undertaker at SummerSlam, and also what the letters 'R-I-P' stood for. Orton mocked Maria's intelligence and told her that it meant 'Rest In Peace'. However, Orton said, he wouldn't rest in peace, The Undertaker would. Randy began to speak about Unforgiven, but the lights flickered and an eerie purple glow filled the interview area. Maria screamed and Randy Orton ran away and out of camera shot.

Overall Rating = 73.1%

Segment 7: World Tag Team Championship

Eugene & Heidenreich w/William Regal vs. Simon System (Simon Dean & Maven) ©

(18 Minutes)

A few weeks ago on RAW, Eugene and Heidenreich earned the right to face Simon System for the World Tag Team Championship. They finally got their shot on RAW.

The reigning champions dominated the first few minutes of the match as they were able to isolate Eugene and work on the knee he injured back in January at New Year's Revolution. Dean was very vicious in his assault, drilling Eugene's knee to the mat with numerous hard stomps. Maven continued the work with a modified shinbreaker and then an STF. Eugene was able to get some offense in by flattening Maven a Rock Bottom after a clothesline attempt had gone amiss. With William Regal and Heidenreich encouraging him, Eugene was able to make the tag. Heidenreich came in and took down both of his opponents with punch combinations and big back body drops. Maven ran straight into a big boot and Simon Dean fell victim to a powerslam. Heidenreich took to the top rope and took out both men with a flying clothesline. A swinging sidewalk slam on Maven looked to have been enough for the 3, but Dean pulled the referee out of the ring. As Dean distracted the referee, Maven nailed Heidenreich with a low blow. This made Regal climb onto the apron, but he was soon taken down inadvertently by Eugene, who's Stone Cold Stunner attempt had been countered by Maven, shoving him into his manager. Eugene went to the outside to see the damage as Heidenreich was clocked with a bottle from Simon Dean's kitbag. Maven finished distracting the referee and fell into a cover that got the 3.

Following the match, Eugene went back and forth to Heidenreich and Regal, making sure they were OK.

Winners: Simon System

Segment 8: Jericho versus Big Show

(10 Minutes)

We were taken backstage again to see Chris Jericho walking through the corridors. He turned a corner and walked through a door with the RAW logo on it, and the words 'General Manager' underneath it. The door closed and we heard raised voices from inside, too muffled to make out what was being said. Todd Grisham came into view with a microphone and told us that Chris Jericho was currently meeting with Eric Bischoff. The subject was unknown but it was suspected to be concerning 'Y2J' and The Big Show. A minute or so later after more mumbling and Grisham's 'commentary' Bischoff appeared and stormed off. Jericho emerged a moment later with a big grin on his face. He told Todd that he had just met with General Manager Bischoff about Unforgiven. The rivalry between he and The Big Show was apparently coming to an end, and it would end when the two meet one-on-one at Unforgiven. Eric Bischoff had just confirmed it. Jericho then went on to challenge Big Show to make their match just that much more exciting. Jericho said he wanted to finish business with Big Show in a big way; he wanted to do it in a Last Man Standing match! Jericho walked off as Grisham looked stunned.

Overall Rating = 81.5%

Segment 9: Answers... Not Given

(1 Minute)

Backstage we saw 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair walking, wearing one of his trademark robes. Triple H then came out of nowhere and stood nose-to-nose with Flair. Triple H demanded that Flair explain his actions last night at SummerSlam when he cost Triple H a match with Shelton Benjamin. Flair stood there for a moment, staring at 'The Game', but then just walked away without saying a word, leaving Triple H standing there looking angry.

Overall Rating = 81.9%

Segment 10: Main Event

Ric Flair vs. Chris Masters

(16 Minutes)

Ric Flair returned to in-ring action as he took on 'The Masterpiece' Chris Masters in the main event. Flair began the match well, stinging Masters with some knife-edge chops that echoed around the arena. The younger Masters battled back quickly though, dropping Flair with a back body drop and some hard clotheslines. Masters connected with some chops of his own, but received a thumb to the eye for his troubles. Flair then landed a knee drop and went for the Figure Four Leg Lock, but Masters kicked him away and through the ropes to the outside. Flair was dished a lot of punishment on the outside by his adversary, 'The Masterpiece' slamming Flair into the security barrier, ring steps and apron. Masters went for the Masterlock on the outside, but before he could get it on, Flair hit a muel kick. The referee couldn't see it. Back in the ring, Flair tried to end the match but only got a couple of near falls. Triple H then walked slowly down the ramp, a less-than-happy look on his face. It proved a distraction enough for Masters to come from behind and trap 'The Nature Boy' in the Masterlock! Flair tried to fight it, but couldn't get out of it. Triple H then entered the ring and began slapping Flair, causing the referee to call for the disqualification.

Masters then stepped aside and exited the ring, leaving Flair to 'The Game'. Triple H slapped Flair around some more before delivering a devastating Pedigree, laying the sixteen-time World champion out.

Winner: Ric Flair (via DQ)

Match Reaction = 70.6%

Match Quality = 53.1%

Overall Rating = 69.0%

Segment 11: Triple H Wants Answers

(3 Minutes)

Triple H then grabbed a microphone from ringside and knelt down beside Flair. 'The Game' told Flair (who was barely moving and looked unaware of his surroundings) that he could wait one week, but next week on RAW he wanted answers. Triple H said that if he didn't get them, "the consequences will be damaging. Even more so than tonight". Triple H then tossed the microphone onto Flair and slowly left the ring and retreated up the ramp, looking at the fallen legend in the ring.

I'm glad you brought this back, great diary. Now on to raw.

I knew Benoit would be in line for a shot at some point, I actually wanted him to lose at Summerslam and then go for the shot, because just dropping the IC title belt like that sort of hurts its image. I've always thought of the belt as the next step to becoming the world heavyweight champion, and for someone to just get rid of it like that kind of makes it look like it's not that important. I liked everything other than that, Benoit getting the shot is good, Big Show actually being at a pay per view in a good match is good, and I like the way you're building the Triple H/Flair feud, and an Edge/Shelton match at Unforgiven could be good, even though it seems sort of meaningless, it could be a good filler. Plus it seems like Chris Masters should be in line for a big push soon after getting a main event match that's that big. Great way to get back into the swing of things though, I enjoyed the read and I can't wait for smackdown.

WWE Smackdown! Preview

August 25th, 2005

SummerSlam was a wild night and quite possibly the best pay-per-view of recent times. This Thursday on Smackdown!, the fallout from the event will continue.

John Cena is still the WWE Champion, keeping his title in a disqualification decision that went the challenger Eddie Guerrero's way. Is this rivalry over? With the controversial finish, Cena's post-match F-U and Eddie's desire to hold the title once again, it looks to be far from over.

Also on the Smackdown! side of SummerSlam, Shawn Michaels overcame Kurt Angle in an unbelievable match. 'HBK' left Washington with the deciding victory in what was a thrilling series with Kurt Angle, beginning at WrestleMania and culminating last Sunday. Will the two future hall-of-famers be able to move on to new things now? You can find out by watching Smackdown!.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Juventud stole a victory to retain his title at last Sunday's pay-per-view, cheating to a pinfall over Elix Skipper when Skipper had done the most work in the match, eliminating three cruiserweights. Paul London was responsible for the other elimination, so General Manager Theodore Long has ordered a triple threat match this Thursday for the Cruiserweight Title. Juvi will defend against London and Skipper!

The other match from Smackdown! was for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The recently re-united Natural Born Thrillers beat MNM, but by disqualification, meaning MNM keep the belts. This Thursday the two teams will meet again with the titles on the line. This time, however, the titles can change hands on a disqualification!

Last week on Smackdown!, John Bradshaw Layfield was shown footage of Danny and Doug Basham of his Cabinet being F-5ed into a wall by a masked attacker. Will this story develop any further? JBL is scheduled to be on this week's edition of Piper's Pit.

Rey Mysterio returned last Thursday to attack Rhyno, but wound up on the end of another Gore. The two square off in singles action this week!

Don't miss Smackdown! this week for SummerSlam fallout and much more!

Confirmed Matches:

Paul London vs. Elix Skipper vs. Juventud © - WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Natural Born Thrillers vs. MNM © w/Melina - WWE Tag Team Championship

Segment 1: SummerSlam Recap

(6 Minutes)

Naturally, the first Smackdown! after SummerSlam began with a recap of what was a great pay-per-view. Only the Smackdown! matches were shown; the Natural Born Thrillers beating MNM by disqualification, Juventud retaining his WWE Cruiserweight Championship against five other cruiserweights, Shawn Michaels defeating Kurt Angle and, finally, Eddie Guerrero beating WWE Champion John Cena by disqualification. Cena's post-match F-U to Guerrero was repeated a few times and the champion's look of frustration finished off the highlight package.

Overall Rating = 81.8%

Segment 2: Who Deserves It?

(10 Minutes)

The man who failed to capture the most prestigious title on Smackdown! at SummerSlam, Eddie Guerrero, kicked off this Thursday's show by walking to the ring. The fans began an "Eddie sucks!" chant, which the somber Eddie barely acknowledged. Eddie took a microphone and spoke about SummerSlam and how he was the-air-between-his-fingers close to winning the WWE Title last Sunday. Guerrero said he had to admit, he did put on a great performance though. Eddie then stated that his intentions of capturing the title were not over, he believes he deserves another shot... tonight! Eddie continued to talk, but was soon interrupted by 'Captain Charisma', Christian. Christian got into the ring and agreed that Eddie put on a great performance and that he deserved another shot... just not the next shot. Christian believes that it was once again his turn for a WWE Title shot ("After all, I haven't had a title shot for a whole month!"). The two bickered over who should be the number one contender when the sound of horns interrupted them.

Overall Rating = 83.0%

Segment 3: Come Get Some!

(7 Minutes)

The horns were, of course, the beginning of reigning WWE Champion John Cena's theme music. Cena walked to the ring with a microphone and insulted the other two, mocking at their attempts to end his reign at Great American Bash and SummerSlam. Eddie's temper was running short now, as well as Christian's. After a few insults from the champ, Guerrero blindsided him. Christian joined in on the assault and both men were soon beating down Cena. The champion showed his great spirit, though, and battled back, sending Eddie out of the ring with a clothesline over the top rope and throwing Christian onto him moments later. Cena brushed his hands off and paraded his WWE Championship belt around the ring as Guerrero and 'Captain Charisma' retreated up the aisle.

Overall Rating = 81.9%

Segment 4: Tag Team Match

WWE Tag Team Championship

Natural Born Thrillers (Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire) vs. MNM (Joey Mercury & Johnny Nitro) © w/Melina

(16 Minutes)

The WWE Tag Team Championship was on the line in a rematch from SummerSlam. This time, however, the titles could change hands if the match ended with an MNM disqualification.

Mark Jindrak and Johnny Nitro kicked things off, Jindrak getting the better of a tie-up and slamming Nitro to the mat with a big hip toss. After a few more moves from Jindrak, including a butterfly suplex, Nitro tagged out to Joey Mercury. Mercury didn't do much better initially, being sent to the mat hard by Jindrak. He turned the tide, however, with a knee to the face of an unsuspecting Mark Jindrak, countering a back body drop attempt. Jindrak got the tag to bring Sean O'Haire into the match. O'Haire dominated both of the opponents with power moves, dropping Nitro over the top rope and gorilla press throwing Mercury onto him. Jindrak tagged in and took out MNM with an athletic dive. Back in the ring, MNM got the upper-hand, managing to isolate Jindrak and use frequent tags to keep a fresh man in the ring. Some dirty tactics wore Jindrak down, but he managed to duck a Mercury dropkick, which Nitro got a face-full of. Jindrak was able to tag in O'Haire, who cleared the ring. O'Haire lifted Mercury onto his shoulders and gave Nitro a big boot before slamming Mercury to the mat with a death valley driver. Melina grabbed one of the title belts and climbed up on the apron, but Nitro stopped her, reminding her of the stipulations. This cost Nitro, as he turned into a devastating left hand punch from Jindrak. As Nitro hit the mat, O'Haire came off the top with the Seanton Bomb on Mercury! Jindrak stopped Melina from entering as the referee counted the 3!

Jindrak grabbed the titles and left the ring with O'Haire, holding the titles up in the air. Johnny Nitro and Melina checked on Mercury in the ring as the Natural Born Thrillers left with the gold.

Winners: Natural Born Thrillers (NEW WWE Tag Team Champions)

Segment 5: Cancelled

(5 Minutes)

When we came back from a commercial break, the ring mat was decked out with tartan, as were two stools that sat there. Piper's Pit was ready to go and the host, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, came out from the back shortly after. Piper began to talk about his guest tonight, John Bradshaw Layfield, and how he's had a troublesome few weeks since The Great American Bash. Piper then introduced JBL, but he got the General Manager Theodore Long instead. Long had a microphone in hand and he informed Piper that unfortunately, this edition of Piper's Pit would have to be cancelled because JBL didn't make it to Smackdown! tonight.

Overall Rating = 79.2%

Segment 6: The Rock Returns Next Week!

(5 Minutes)

Long went on to say that JBL needed punishing. He could fine him, he could suspend him, he could do whatever he thought suitable. Long then revealed what he thought a "suitable punishment" would be - facing the returning Rock next week in a No Holds Barred match! The crowd and Piper seemed to agree that this was a suitable punishment and the General Manager left with Michael Cole and Tazz buzzing over the match next week.

Overall Rating = 83.1%

Segment 7: Singles Match

Charlie Haas vs. Chavo Guerrero

(13 Minutes)

Coming off of two straight losses to Christian, Charlie Haas was fired up and determined to get back on the winning side. Haas began strong against Chavo Guerrero, suplexing the former Cruiserweight Champion multiple times in the first couple of minutes. Chavo dodged an attack, though, and pulled down the top rope, sending Haas tumbling to the outside. Chavo nailed a slingshot plancha, taking out his opponent. The action returned to the ring where Chavo got a near fall following a brainbuster. Guerrero tried to wear down Haas with a triangle hold, but Haas was able to get out of it, rolling Chavo up for 2. Guerrero charged at Haas in the corner, but ate turnbuckle before being drilled with a German suplex. Haas looked to capitalise, but was rolled up in a small package for a 2. Chavo then looked for the Gory Bomb, but Haas blocked the attempt and connected with a swinging backbreaker. He then tied up Guerrero in the Haas Of Pain, which Chavo could only last about ten seconds in. Charlie Haas was back to winning ways, defeating Chavo by submission.

Winner: Charlie Haas

Segment 8: Smackdown! Bikini Contest

(5 Minutes)

Tazz got into the ring and announced a bikini contest to "make Summer even hotter". The participants? Dawn Marie, Melina, Miss Jackie and Torrie. Tazz introduced each woman and they then had twenty seconds to strut their stuff. After all four had revealed their bikinis, Tazz announced each name and the crowd cheered/jeered in response. Torrie got the loudest cheers by far, so Tazz announced her as the winner. Melina, who was not in a good mood after MNM lost the WWE Tag Team Titles earlier, looked angry and yelled at Torrie before slapping her. Torrie tackled Melina to the mat, but Dawn Marie got involved and attacked Torrie. Miss Jackie then came in and helped Torrie fight off Dawn and Melina, who escaped the ring and looked angrily back at the two divas in the ring.

Overall Rating = 76.1%

Segment 9: Long Time, No Title Match

(4 Minutes)

Backstage, Josh Mathews was standing by with Kurt Angle. Mathews asked Angle's feelings coming off of a loss to Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam. Angle insulted Josh, saying that the question was stupid ("How the hell do you think I feel? I'm freakin' over the moon!") The Olympic Gold Medalist said that he was pissed off, he shouldn't have lost to Michaels at SummerSlam, but there were more important things at hand now such as the WWE Championship. Angle reminded Josh that a new number one contender for Cena's belt was yet to be announced, and that it was about time Kurt got one. The last time he had a one-on-one WWE Title shot was all the way back in March 2004 at WrestleMania XX, against Eddie Guerrero. Angle said it was time for him to become champion again, and if Long had any sense, he'd make the only Olympic Champion in WWE history the number one contender.

Overall Rating = 81.9%

Segment 10: Triple Threat Match

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Paul London vs. Elix Skipper vs. Juventud ©

(15 Minutes)

The two challengers sandwiched the champion at the beginning of the bout, but an Elix Skipper right-hand shot was ducked by Juventud and Paul London got clocked. London fought back, sending Skipper reeling with a spinning heel kick. London connected with a hurricanrana and followed it up with the dropsault, sending Skipper to the outside. Juvi then came in from behind to take down London. The champion snap suplexed London to the mat and rolled into a 2 count. He then went for a powerbomb on the former champion, but it was reversed into a sunset flip. Before the referee could get to the mat, Juventud had rolled out of it and dropkicked London in the face. 'Primetime' Elix Skipper re-joined the action with a back elbow to 'The Juice'. Skipper destroyed Juvi with a hip toss into a backbreaker for a near fall. Elix took control, slamming the champ to the canvas with a powerful spinebuster. London broke up the ensuing pinfall and walloped Skipper with a kick to the head. London was in control, performing springboards, slingshots and planchas to take down his opponents. London rolled the champion into the ring and went up top, perhaps looking for the 450 Splash. Skipper stopped him though, with a kick to the face from the second rope. Juvi straddled Skipper on the top rope as London fell to the mat. Juventud hooked up London for the pin, getting his feet on the ropes for leverage to steal another victory.

Juventud escaped the ring with his title clutched in his arms. London came to, realised what had happened and chased Juventud to the backstage area as Skipper finally got off of the top rope, holding his groin.

Winner: Juventud

Segment 11: RAW Rebound

(4 Minutes)

The RAW Rebound was shown. It focused mainly on Chris Benoit vacating the Intercontinental Title and becoming the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Also shown was Jericho announcing he and The Big Show will square off at Unforgiven on September 18, and the situation between Triple H and Ric Flair.

Overall Rating = 73.8%

Segment 12: 'The Showstopper' Wants It, Too

(5 Minutes)

Shawn Michaels was interviewed by Steve Romero backstage. Michaels said that Kurt Angle was "a nut" and it was "ol' HBK who deserves that WWE Title shot." Michaels quickly ran through the highlights of his career, including his previous title reigns and spectacular matches. He finished off the list by saying that he beat Kurt Angle twice in three matches. Michaels said that John Cena was a good guy, a good champion. But he'd had the title long enough, and it was Michaels' turn for another shot at the gold.

Overall Rating = 89.5%

Segment 13: Main Event

Singles Match

Rey Mysterio vs. Rhyno

(13 Minutes)

Rey Mysterio wanted to get some revenge against Rhyno for Goring him through a table a few weeks ago, and he showed it as the match began. Rey dived straight at Rhyno and didn't let up the tempo, sending 'The Man Beast' to the outside and quickly joining him with an over-the-top-rope flip. Back in the ring, Rhyno began to take control, using his size and power advantage. The former ECW World Champion drove Mysterio to the mat with a devastating powerbomb for a near fall. He then went for a piledriver, but Rey was able to flip up to gain momentum and then reverse the move into a hurricanrana. Rey tried to mount a comeback, but was cut off by a powerslam into the turnbuckles. Rhyno then looked to go to the top rope, but Rey dropkicked him off. Mysterio built some momentum using his superior speed to take Rhyno out. A few dropkicks and hurricanranas connected to take Rhyno off his feet. Mysterio countered a Rhyno whip and dropped him onto the second rope. He then hit the 619 to send the fans, and Michael Cole, into a frenzy. Rey waited for Rhyno to get to his feet before springing from the top rope, looking for the West Coast Pop. Rhyno had it scouted though, and countered brilliantly into a Gore. Mysterio's head bounced off the mat and Rhyno looked around at the crowd menacingly before making the cover for the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Rhyno

Alldawson your return to this diary is even better than your original run. I love how you have revived SD, and it is my favorite of the two brands. I also LOVE what your doing with the WWE Title.

Guerrero, Christian, Angle & HBK!

I'm extremely hooked into this storyline and you have my eye. I cannot wait until the next SD to see it develop even more.

As for the rest of the show...

MNM vs. NBT

- I'm glad to see that you gave the titles to the NBT. I'm hoping this feud is far from over as I see MNM as a focal point for the SD tag division.

Haas vs. Guerrero

- Not bad, nice to see Haas winning again. Though I was on the fence as I'm a fan of both.

Skipper vs. London vs. Juvi

-I'm really loving the CW division and Juvi's reign as champ. Alldawson you are running the division perfectly.

Rey vs. Rhyno

-I don't really care for this match as main event, but it turned out ok.

Yes its back.. what a great read that was. I thought Smackdown was MUCH better than RAW was this week. Im more excited to see what happens on Smackdown than RAW.

RAW

- I was expecting a Flair turn a month before you even had it. I knew it was going to happen and it did. im excited for this and am liking the way its going

- Shelton - Edge seems pointless anyways i dont think they would produce a good match at all

- Im loving the Show - Jericho fued. Its gone a fairly long time and i consider it one of your main fueds. Its a great fued and im glad its coming to an end with a special match.

- Batista - Benoit. he turn from Benoit was shocking to say the least , making the IT title look like a peice of shit was NOT good but i was shocked and excited for the Benoit - Batista thing . Well done in most ways for starting this fued.

- Also La Resistance - Conway seems interesting. Im interested in what you can do with it. Dont make any match make a special match. I dont consider this a match i would pay for at Unforgiven so i suggest maybe a .... ah screw it head for Unforgiven.

- I dont know what your doing with Hassan and masters. ( turn and fued ?? ) But theres plenty of stars i wanna see in there. More Carlito and Booker T wheres he oh and also bring back RVD. I soooooooooo miss him.

SD!

- Im in love with the No,1 Contender Angles. 4 contenders and hopefully you wont go for the obvious Match. I tihnk you should do it differentely and keep on coming up with maybe two more contenders  . And just keep us guessing before Unforgiven .

- Im even more in love with the Rock - Lesnar v JBL thing. I was very excited about pipers Pit unfortunately he didnt appear. Bloody S.O.B. Anyways im expecting a interference by lesnar himself whe he obliterates everyone including rock and JBL in the ring. This is gonna be exciting. ANd after this happens im interested to see what you do with Rock. Id actually love to see Rock - Christian for some unexplained reason

- Interesting tag fued. And you have now bettered your Tag Team Divison. Great work. Good that you gave the titles to NBT. But i hope MNM win them back soon.

- Im still marking for Angle - HBK for yet another unexplained reason and i wanna see no.4 for another reason.

- Dont quite mark for Rhyno and Rey together. Sounds really iffy to me. Also Lance Storm - Hass for the US Title. We need more action with that title. Please put it on someone new :crying:

- Cruiser fueds are great and i was generally suprised when i saw Juvi keep the title yet again. He does make a great CW Champ. I hope you keep the title on him. Your doing well with Elix Skipper and moving him up slowly and steadily and BRILLIANTLY.

cheers,

mAXi

glad to see this diary back, Benoit's title shot is gold (pun intended) and the way he dropped the IC was great. The IC title hunt should look good now and hopefully benoit can get the title off Tista. Also I thought smackdown was great, NBT as the champions really helps get the tag division up and running. Good Shows (Y)

I'm still reading your diary on the other window I have active right now dude(still on page 9)...but I gotta say, its one of the best WWE diaries I have read so far. I also like the way you make your gfx for each raw and smackdown. It kinda adds something.....even though not needed..its still a way to make your already good diary a captivating one.

Keep up the good work. And I hope you do continue this thing.

WWE RAW Preview

August 29th, 2005

Last Monday night on RAW, merely twenty-four hours after SummerSlam, Eric Bischoff announced the main event for WWE Unforgiven on September 18. Chris Benoit will get to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at the RAW-exclusive pay-per-view event when he goes one-on-one with current champion, Batista!

Also last week, Edge speared Shelton Benjamin into a door backstage. Edge wasn't in a good mood after losing to Batista at SummerSlam and Shelton's taunting didn't help matters. This Monday Shelton Benjamin tries to exact some revenge as he teams up with World Heavyweight Champion Batista against Edge and Chris Benoit.

Ric Flair's shocking actions at SummerSlam have infuriated Triple H and 'The Game' wants answers. Flair refused to give them last week, but after being a victim of the Pedigree, will 'The Nature Boy' reveal all this Monday?

Last week it was announced that Chris Jericho and The Big Show will meet at Unforgiven in a Last Man Standing match to try and finally settle their differences.  'Y2J' faces an old rival this week when he battles Christian's former 'Problem Solver', Tyson Tomko.

Randy Orton was sent packing last Monday as the lights flickered and an eerie purple light filled the backstage area during an interview. Will Orton be back this week? And will Undertaker's SummerSlam message be developed any further? You'll have to tune in to find out.

RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff informed Lita and Trish Stratus that they were co-holders of the WWE Women's Championship last week. One of them will defend the title in a match until Bischoff decides to have a match between the two to decide a proper champion. Their first defense takes place this Monday as Trish Stratus defends against Victoria.

Don't miss WWE RAW this Monday night on Spike TV!

Confirmed Matches

Batista & Shelton Benjamin vs. Chris Benoit & Edge

Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko

Trish Stratus © vs. Victoria - WWE Women's Championship
