Segment 1: We're M-N-M

(6 Minutes)

We kicked off Smackdown! backstage as Steve Romero was standing by with Joey Mercury, Johnny Nitro and Melina - collectively known as MNM. Melina did most of the talking, mocking the Natural Born Thrillers, saying they're nothing but WCW rejects. Whereas Mercury, Nitro and Melina are M-N-M. The megastars of the WWE. They're clearly the best tag team ever in the WWE, boasted Melina, as they won the WWE Tag Team Championship on their first night, haven't lost them since, and have beaten the best tag teams that Smackdown! has to offer, including the Dudley Boyz. The bottom line, according to MNM, was that they would be walking out of SummerSlam with the tag team gold still dangling from their belts.

Overall Rating = 56.8%

Segment 2: Natural Born Thrillers vs. Billy Kidman & Psychosis

(14 Minutes)

The cruiserweight tandem of Kidman and Psychosis showed that they weren't regularly a team as they were dominated for most of the match and accidentally collided with each other on a couple of occasions. Jindrak took it to Kidman with a huge left hand that got a very near fall. Jindrak continued the assault with a vertical suplex before tagging out to O'Haire. O'Haire was quickly double teamed by the cruiserweights. Kidman managed to floor O'Haire with a B-K Bomb as Psychosis went up-top. Before he could come off with a move, though, Jindrak had rushed across the ring and dropkicked him off of the top rope, boasting the WWE's highest vertical leap. The WWE Tag Team Champions then made their way out with Melina. They stood by the stage, watching the action as numerous photographers surrounded them, taking pictures. Jindrak and O'Haire noticed MNM, but they didn't let it distract them as they continued to control Kidman and Psychosis. Kidman was sent out of the ring with a double clothesline and Psychosis fell victim to the Mark Of Perfection. O'Haire followed up with the Seanton Bomb on Psychosis and got the 3 count.

The Thrillers celebrated from the ring as MNM stared them down before retreating backstage.

Winners: Natural Born Thrillers

Match Reaction = 67.9%

Match Quality = 67.4%

Overall Rating = 72.2%

Segment 3: JBL Knows Who The Attacker Is... Or Maybe He Doesn't

(10 Minutes)

JBL's music played, but instead of coming out in his limousine as usual, he walked to the ring escorted by eight police officers. He got into the ring and grabbed a microphone. Bradshaw said that over the past couple of weeks, his Cabinet had been dismantled by an unknown man, but apparently he knew who that man was. JBL said that he was the obvious target and that's why he needed all of the police officers with him. Bradshaw then said that the attacker was The Rock. Who else could it be? Everybody else loves JBL, but The Rock was bitter from being destroyed by JBL at The Great American Bash. JBL then called The Rock out, so they could sort out their differences man-to-man. The Rock didn't show, but the screen flickered and some CCTV footage was shown. It was from last week and it clearly showed JBL walking into Theodore Long's office and the Bashams standing outside the door. Someone walked into the picture with black clothes and a black mask. The person attacked the Bashams and punched them repeatedly. One of the Bashams (it was unclear from the footage) was then hoisted onto the attacker's shoulders and F-5ed into the wall. The other Basham received similar treatment, but into the concrete floor. The attacker then ran away and the footage stopped. In the ring, JBL looked shocked as he saw the F-5 being performed. He then quickly exited the ring and fled into the crowd, his police escort in hot pursuit. Tazz and Michael Cole couldn't believe what they'd just seen and questioned whether it really was who they thought it was.

Overall Rating = 87.1%

Segment 4: Chris Chetti vs. Rhyno

(9 Minutes)

Two former ECW alumni met in this match as 'The Man Beast' Rhyno battled Chris Chetti. Chetti started off well, sliding under Rhyno's legs and then hitting a modified backbreaker. Rhyno took control shortly though, as he tossed Chetti over the top rope. Rhyno went for the Gore on the outside, but Chetti dodged and Rhyno crashed into the ring post. Chetti hit a dropkick and took the match back into the ring where he stomped on Rhyno's now-injured shoulder. Rhyno battled back, though, dropping Chetti with an atomic drop and a piledriver. Chetti stumbled to his feet holding his neck and Rhyno Gored the life out of him. Rhyno pinned the motionless Chetti for the 3.

Rhyno stomped away on Chetti after the match, but not for long as Rey Mysterio slid into the ring out of nowhere! Mysterio punched away at Rhyno and dropkicked him onto the second rope. Rey went for the 619, but Rhyno dodged it and Gored Mysterio! Rey was left rolling on the mat, clutching his abdomen.

Winner: Rhyno

Match Reaction = 36.4%

Match Quality = 70.6%

Overall Rating = 51.6%

Segment 5: He'll Retain At SummerSlam

(6 Minutes)

The WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Juventud, made his way down to the ring and took a microphone from the timekeeper's table. He said that at SummerSlam, he faces five of the best cruiserweights in the world. There was a problem for those five, though, as they'd be facing the best cruiserweight in the world - proven by the belt around Juvi's waist. Juventud ran through the list of names he was facing, Paul London - a former Cruiserweight Champion with no fear, Super Crazy - an unpredictable and talented wrestler, Tajiri - a former Cruiserweight Champion with lethal kicks, Chavo Guerrero - a former Cruiserweight Champion and an experienced competitor, Elix Skipper - an athletic and impressive athlete. Juventud said he had quite the challenge ahead of him, but there was no doubt that he would retain his title at SummerSlam, because he's 'The Juice' - the best cruiserweight in the WWE.

Overall Rating = 72.6%

Segment 6: RAW Rebound

(5 Minutes)

The RAW Rebound was shown, with the main highlights being The Undertaker's gongs making the Randy Orton versus Mike Awesome match a no contest and the main event between Batista and Carlito. The video finished with Batista standing tall, raising the World Heavyweight Title in the air.

Overall Rating = 86.2%

Segment 7: The Chain Gang Is Ready

(8 Minutes)

John Cena was standing next to Josh Matthews backstage. Matthews asked Cena his thoughts on facing Eddie Guerrero at SummerSlam. Cena said he knew it would be a tough match, because Eddie will lie, cheat and steal to try and win the title. However, the Chain Gang is ready for Eddie and this Sunday there will be thousands of people chanting "Eddie Sucks!" and Guerrero will be able to hear them while he's lying on his back being pinned for the three after the F-U. Cena assured Matthews that he would still be the WWE Champion this time next week, and the week after that, and the week after that, and the week after that! Cena then span the WWE logo on his title and walked out of the picture, the fans cheering.

Overall Rating = 81.6%

Segment 8: Piper's Pit

(11 Minutes)

'Rowdy' Roddy Piper came out to the ring, which had been decked out in a tartan mat and three stools were placed in the ring. Piper welcomed the fans to Piper's Pit before introducing his guests, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle! They both got in each other's face, but Piper pulled them apart and informed them that they couldn't touch each other as Theodore Long had put a 'no tolerance' ruling on them both. Therefore, if they were to lay a hand on the other then they would not go to SummerSlam and would both be given hefty fines. The segment was mostly taken up with both men arguing over who's going to win at SummerSlam and who's the best wrestler. As HBK went to leave the ring at the end, Kurt Angle shoved Piper into Michaels. Michaels turned and looked angry, but he managed to control himself. Angle shouted at him as he left the ring, but he was then blindsided by Piper! Piper left the ring as Angle went crazy in the ring, pulling on the ropes and jumping up and down.

Overall Rating = 82.9%

Segment 9: Recap

(2 Minutes)

We were shown a clip from last week's Smackdown! where Christian cheated to beat Charlie Haas using not one, but two low blows to aid the victory. Cole commented that Christian's actions were dispicable.

Overall Rating = 77.7%

Segment 10: Charlie Haas vs. Christian

(17 Minutes)

Charlie Haas was out to even the score and he showed intensity to begin the match, relentlessly kicking and chopping Christian in the corner. Haas hit a dropkick and got a near fall. Haas continued to control the match, slamming Christian to the mat with a scoop slam and then climbing up-top. Christian managed to roll away before Haas could do anything, though. Haas climbed down and went after his opponent who had slid to the outside of the ring. All he got for his troubles was a big elbow to the jaw. Captain Charisma then sent Haas into the steel steps before ramming him into the apron back-first three times. The match returned to the ring where Christian dropped Haas with a reverse backbreaker for a 2 count. A back suplex and a backbreaker furthered the damage to Haas' back and got Christian another near fall. Captain Charisma dug his knee into Haas' back while applying a rear chin lock, applying the pressure. Haas managed to break the hold and took Christian down with a shoulder block and then a snap suplex. Haas continued to rally with chops and a couple of suplexes. a German suplex pin got a near fall. Christian staggered into the corner and then shoved Haas into the referee. He then proceeded to remove the top turnbuckle padding in a corner, revealing the solid steel. Haas charged as the referee got up, but was flapjacked face-first onto the steel. He fell backwards, out cold. Christian picked up his lifeless opponent and finished him off with the Unprettier.

Haas was helped to his knees by the referee after the match, he stared at Christian walking down the aisle with a nasty look on his face.

Winner: Christian

Match Reaction = 77.7%

Match Quality = 75.1%

Overall Rating = 88.2%

Segment 11: SummerSlam Matches

(7 Minutes)

We went to Michael Cole and Tazz at the commentary table and they went through Smackdown!'s matches booked for SummerSlam, discussing them briefly. They then switched to WWE studios where Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler ran through the RAW side of things to come at SummerSlam.

Overall Rating = 81.6%

Segment 12: Eddie's On His Way

(1 Minute)

We cut to the backstage corridor where Eddie Guerrero is walking with a grin on his face. Michael Cole told us that the main event would follow after a quick commercial break.

Overall Rating = 83.4%

Segment 13: Main Event

Nunzio vs. Eddie Guerrero

(12 Minutes)

Nunzio was the clear underdog and it showed as the match began with Eddie tossing Nunzio around like a rag doll. Some taunting cost Eddie, though, as Nunzio took him down to the mat with a flying cross body block. The Italian applied a headlock, but got dropped on his head and shoulders via a back suplex. Eddie continued to put the hurt on his smaller opponent with some unique leg locks and some vicious stomps. Guerrero threw Nunzio into the corner and connected with some knife-edge chops, causing Nunzio's chest to glow red. Nunzio staged a comeback, hitting a tornado DDT and getting a 2 count. He then charged at Eddie, but he was thrown mercilessly over the top rope and he bumped onto the mats with a thud. Despite the referee's orders, Eddie threw Nunzio into the steel steps and continued to dominate. Guerrero lifted Nunzio up and held him in the air before driving him into the floor with a brainbuster. Eddie tossed Nunzio back into the ring and made a cover, but broke it himself at 2. He wanted to punish Nunzio. Eddie connected with the Three Amigos and then the Frog Splash. Again, he broke the count at 2. This time, though, he trapped Nunzio in a Texas cloverleaf. Nunzio tapped out immediately.

Eddie's hand was raised by the referee, but he quickly pushed the referee away and stomped on Nunzio. He lifted him up and drove him to the mat with another brainbuster. The crowd started to chant "Cena!" and sure enough, the WWE Champion sped down to the ring. Cena slid under the bottom rope and exchanged blows with Eddie, getting the better of the exchange. A powerful punch sent Eddie to the ropes and a clothesline knocked him out of the ring! Eddie staggered away from the ring as Cena paced it, WWE Title up in the air.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero

Just caught up Alldawson. Still running strong. Your diary is the first one I have won a prediction contest in. ;)

I liked the last SD! and I hope Primetime can walk away as the new Cruiserweight Champion at SS. I mark for The Juice and Primetime but Primetime is better and besides he built this house not The Juice if you know what I'm saying.

I'm looking forward to the final Angle and HBK match. That should be a good one.

Down to the serious stuff now. The Tag Team Titles. I'm glad to see that you signed NBT and they're cool and all but I hope they don't take the Titles from MNM and you know how much I like MNM. They should have a great feud though. If they do win the Titles it'll be all good but I don't see why you wouldn't want MNM as your Tag Team Champions lol.

Now onto RAW.

Masters on Heat then losing by DQ? Come on, he's a greek god. He should be making people tap out or pass out with the Master Lock.

Your doing something with the Women's Title I don't know if that's good or bad lol. I never really liked women wrestling but I guess we need them lol.

I think Batista and Edge should be a good match at SS but I'm pretty sure that Batista will come out on top. It's a no brainer.

Down to my main man Carlito. He's cool ya know. Well, you'll think of something for the coolest guy on the roster.

Wow I talked more about SS then RAW and SD! lol. Well, great job man and I'm going to keep reading. (Y)

I'm unsure on a lot of these, especially the Batista/Edge match and the Shelton/Triple H, but I'd like to see Edge get the win and still have Batista go after him, but having Edge beat him a second time at unforgiven to prove himself and go over as the champion.
