Your first two discs are like 3/10 at best, the third is something like 6/10. I mean, shit. Hollaback Girl? 1985? WORD UP? Yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck.

I would give it 1/10, 4/10 and 3/10, and that's being awfully nice to the second (meaning, giving much more attention to the good stuff than to the worse)

I should even take points away since you don't even know who the performers of the songs are and went by the name you found on whatever P2P you used to get those.

By the way, your jamaican dude is Ini Kamoze.

EDIT: written before your post, but still applies.

Morecello's were horrible. The first one gets big plus marks for Champaigne Supernova. The rest I either don't care for or hate. 1/10. AAF are underrated IMO (Especially the second album), they pulled out a good cover of Smooth Criminal. That and Fat Lip are the only sogns that interest me. 1/10. This is better, still not good. You've got The Clash there, DMX, Motley Crue (Good Crue songs IMO). A good Guns N' Roses song (I'm not a fan but I like it) and a good Saliva song. 5.5/10 as I can't choose between 5 and 6.

Okay. I decided to make myself a mix CD (First of a few probably) for over the summer. I wanted a summer feeling. Something to match all moods. But I wanted a 'feel good sound' ultimately. Some pop, dance, pop-punk, funk etc. Lots of different stuff.

Feeling This - Blink 182

Second Sight - Placebo

Good Fucking Bye - Matt Skiba

Black Devil Car - Jamiroquai

Rockafella Skank - Fatboy Slim

Around The World - Daft Punk

Insomnia - Faithless

Cafe Del Mar - William Orbit

Dare - Gorillaz

Jungle Boogie - Kool & The Gang

Souled Out - Tower Of Power

I Want You Back - Jackson 5

Let's Groove Tonight - Earth, Wind & Fire

High & Dry - Jamie Cullum

Your Eyes Open - Keane

I Walk Beside You - Dream Theater

Poltergeist - Pulley

Solitaire - Strung Out

Not With Him - Good Riddance

Yell Out - Pennywise

Don't Go Back To Dalston - Razorlight

This is the worst rating i'll probably ever give you on any mix tape you could put together, however that's due to the fact that i can't stand electro music of barely any kind and that brings it a lot down in my appreciation. While you wait for someone who does like it and so rate it higher, i'll have to rate it with about a 3/10 because you haven't even picked songs i find great from the bands i like/love, which are still a few. I understand you wanted to pick "easy happy" songs but that wasn't the reason why i rated it so low. I think you could have done better, even with the style you wanted.

I like the looks of yours, Booker T. I haven't heard enough of the songs to truly judge, but the assortment of bands looks really cool, though I've never been the biggest fan of putting the same group on the same CD back-to-back.

Alright, I might as well post one. This one's purely hip-hop, so, y'know, if you don't like hip-hop don't bother.

1. DJ Format feat. D-Sisive - Another One of Those Songs

2. Presence - Callin' Out

3. Beastie Boys - Pass the Mic

4. Jay-Z/The Pillows - 99 Problems (Stalker Goes to Babylon Remix)

5. Jurassic 5 - The Influence

6. Dizzee Rascal - Dream

7. Public Enemy - Don't Believe the Hype

8. Rip Slyme - By the Way

9. N.W.A. - If It Ain't Ruff

10. Del tha Funkee Homosapien - Signature Slogans

11. Orange Range - Velocity 3000

12. Run DMC - It's Tricky

13. Gorillaz - Rock the House (More or less another Del track, really.)

14. ZEEBRA - Platinum Date

15. Jay-Z - December 4th (Grey Album Remix)

Electro music? I wouldn't say anything there is electro. I could label Faithless and Daft Punk with that. The William Orbit song is hardly electro and the Fatboy Slim and Jamiroquai songs are rock-like. Jamie Cullum sings jazz stuff, I guess is the best way to describe it. K&TG, EW&F and TOP sing disco funk, hardly electro. Unless you were just using electro as a way to round lots of stuff up, i don't really have much if anything from the electro genre.
