Just watched this at GameSpot and dear God I've never wanted a Resi more. Can anybody identify the character?

IGN think it might be Chris, due to the response they got when they asked the same question. "The only hint is that the team are the same as those who worked on the original." Something like that anyway.

I'm all for it being Chris, he's much better than Leon (>_>). The screens I saw looked incredible, but I haven't watched the clip yet. Here's hoping that it's a continuation of 4, where the Las Plagas type enemies are spread all over the place. I can't wait.

GameFAQs has it as either Chris or Hunk.

That looks just awesome. I'm also going with the crowd and suggesting that it isn't a new character, but an aged chris.
