Recomend me some good hair metal

I've recently started listening to hair metal, and I was wondering what some good hair metal band/songs were. Any help would be appreciated.

Skid Row are damn good hair metal, get Youth Gone Wild and 18 'n' Life for a good taster, LA Guns are well worth a listen, Motley Crue and Poison should go without saying.

I am going to agree with everyone else, then add some.

Pick up Skid Row's album with "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 and Life"

Poison has numerous greatest hits albums floating around, get one of those too.

Ratt, Great White, Warrant, LA Guns, Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister, Tesla, White Lion, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake,

and of course Guns 'n' Roses (Some people don't consider them Hair, but it's where they get there start.

Hurricane Party are a new band doing hair metal, they're ok actually. The only 80s rock band I really like are Bon Jovi, so if you don't already have it, buy Crossroads - it has all the hits on it.

But Hair Metal was never a genre, it was just a phrase. No band ever called themselves 'Hair Metal'

I know that, but people always linked hair metal with Bon Jovi, is it a proper genre? No way. I don't see how. What does "hair metal" sound like? To me, it is Bon Jovi. If it was a typical "new" genre, it'd be post-hair-x-metal-core.
