Kanye West's Late Registration

It's good, better than his last cd for sure.  I absolutely hate Kanye, but his production is incredible.  His flow is terrible and he is so full of himself it's not even funny, but I can't deny his producing talents.  The production on this cd has a better vibe than the last cd. (my judging of this cd is from the production side cause I absolutely hate him as a rapper)

You guys have to realize that it's just a personal preference, and Kanye just rubs me in the wrong way. I like probably the cockiest rapper of them all, Jay-Z but he comes off as cool when he does it, when Kanye does it he comes off as a dick (to me).

I know what you mean. Kanye does have a tendancy to be real cocky, but he's one of my faves. I haven't got this album, but I want too. And from what you guys are saying, it is worth the 13 bucks.

IGN's review of the album pretty much describes how I feel. The first 10 tracks are strong and from there it just goes downhill for me. How Ye and Nas made a song that bad together is beyond me.

I don't think I'd want to buy the whole album but I really like "Touch the Sky," "Gold Digger," and "Diamonds From Sierra Leone" amongst some other tracks.

From what I heard from the stream, it wasn't bad. Not as good as College Dropout, IMO (I'm not much of a rap fan, but there were too many songs I couldn't get out of my head on College Dropout), but not a bad album nonetheless. When I get home, I might pick it up at my local bootleg spot where I get all the rap albums I pick up, but I wouldn't search it out otherwise.

Am I the only one who quite likes Celebration? And Late is nice as well. Hey Mama serves it's purpose, and I quite like the book of poetry bit. Not a huge fan of We Major, given that it's two of my favourite rappers on an average track.

I've listened to this a few times. Not as good as I was hoping it would be. The skits this time .... none are any good. A lot of songs just sound weird to me.

Kanye sold 860,000 copies in his first week. Good stuff. Tony Yayo was second with 216,000 copies, still very good and about even with Young Buck.

I'm really liking Heard Em' Say now and it's on repeat for me.
