Dudley Campbell, biazarely Stevenage let him go on a free transfer to some stupid team and sure enough he's turned out fine. Same with Sam Sodjhe for that matter...

A deal between Brentford and Southampton was agreed for Sodje, luckily for us Brentford fans he turned them down. On a somewhat related note, why Brentford would ever want to do business with Southampton again is beyond me. They took 'keeper Paul Smith from us, paying a lump sum up front and then more when he made a certain number of apperances. Smith is 1 away from making the appearance that would get Brentford some more money I believe, and he's now been dropped from the team.

It's an annoying time to support Brentford. £6m debt or not, you don't get promotion (and therefore more money/bigger crowds) by selling your best players. They'll always be a selling club as this shows.

Ajax signed Jaap Stam from AC Milan. Didn't saw that coming, he will be joining in the summer but still. Very good defender, lot of experience, can be a real asset to the team. I like that they signed him.
