Anyone played this? I managed to pick it up for a tenner in GAME, and it's far more fun than it has any right to be. For what is basically SHut Your Mouth with added breasts and wibbly bits, it's a massive surprise that I'm getting attatched to the characters. When little Reiko turned heel, I was actually disappointed. Anyone else got it?

I heard they have weird indy moves in it. Is it true?

Yeah, a lot of the regular moves are ripped straight from Smackdown, but all finishers/humilation finishers and secondary finishers are some really bizarre indy moves. I love the pumphandle face-plant and the double rotation moonsault.

I played this while I was in Japan, and definately would have bought it if I had the money at the time. I'm considering getting the English language version, but I heard that Story Mode has some speech problems in it. Is this true?

Not from what I've seen, I've played through four Story Modes, and I haven't seen any language problems yet.

I bought this game when it came out because, well, I wanted a wrestling game, but don't like the WWE, so my options were either Rumble Roses or Backyard Wrestling 2. I think I chose wisely.

The voice acting was kinda bad(especially Aigle. Worst. Character. Ever.) and the mud match sucked on a number of levels, but on the whole it was a pretty decent wrestling game. I liked the heel/face gimmick changes and I thought the storylines were more logical and better thought out than a lot of what the WWE has done in the past 3 years.

Also, I'd totally mark if I saw an indy wrestler use either the Dixie Buster or Tricolor Suplex.

The wrestling moves are fairly decent, but the voice acting is mostly atrocious, and some of the ring entrances are lame. (Damn, I really dislike Becky's entrance)

Then again, there is a high T & A factor, since they have bathing suits as alternate outfits and the only gimmick match is a mud wrestling match. (Plus, there's Miss Spencer and Aisha's heel gimmicks, a dominatrix and a stripper)

Oh, and as for Aigle....yeah, she sucks. However, when you turn her heel, she becomes Killer Khan, sort of a female, Mongolian Great Muta ripoff. And Killer Khan has my favorite ring entrance. (Her entrance theme and Lady X's are both great)

Dixie Clements is SOOOOOO a Tina Armstrong rip-off, though.

If I was female I'd probably love this game. Pretending to be a Japanese schoolgirl in a massive fighting thing after all...isn't it every Japanese schoolgirl's dream?

I take the positives from this, that the awesome graphics will probably be similar when Yukes develop the next WWE games. We can only hope.

I also picked it up one day over the summer just for a new wrestling title to try out. I felt like a total perv buying it, but overall it's a fun game. Sure, the mud match sucks, but I mark for hitting top rope moves from the lifeguard tower. Also, everyone's favorite (or..least favorite) move, a CANADIAN DESTROYAH variaint, is in there. I believe it's..uh..Evil Rose's move, right?
