I dunno if anything on Mellon Collie is filler, there's just good stuff and then the exceptional stuff which makes the good stuff seem less good. I wouldn't say there's a bad song on it.

"We Only Come Out At Night" stands out as an utterly lame song. And unlike most (I think) I can't stand songs like "Zero" that are just hilariously angsty when they were capable of so much more, as "Tonight Tonight" proved.

I quite liked "We Only Come Out At Night". It's not a song I'd listen to by itself, but it works on the album, and I don't see anything wrong with it. Zero is fairly un-necessarily angsty, but again, could be so much worse.

But even so, I'd never put Mellon Collie in a list of CDs without bad songs.

Any Green Day CD

"Wake Me Up When September Ends." To me there's no defense for that one.

I don't hate any songs on the earlier ones, though. "Good Riddance" is overexposed, but...

I think the majority of Green Day albums are mostly filler, though, with most of the album tracks just being a bit naff.

"Berlin" by Lou Reed is another candidate for CD without a bad song, though.
