Bands that give you free stuff

After recently discovering Beatallica i've been trying to find out if there are any other bands that either give away free albums online or free legal music albums that are pretty good, after trying to search for free legal downloads, the best i've managed to find is some hip hop crap. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get some free music by a good/well known band?
