Everybody hates Liverpool.

The reasons I hate Liverpool are probably a combination of the rivalry between them and Chelsea, the atrociously boring football I see them play (at least, every time I get to see them), the fact they receive disproportionate love from everybody else (in the world, the media etc.) because of their legacy, and because - perhaps most importantly of all - my Liverpool-supporting friends are smarmy gits.

Of course, you could no doubt sum all that up into one simpler reason; being my own pettiness.

I've gone through fases of not liking teams aswell. I took a real disliking to Blackburn after the game at Ewood where it looked like that South African dude purposely injured Robben, but they don't really bother me. I didn't like Newcastle for some reason, aswell.

I still fucking hate Sunderland though.

I don't even know why I like Blackburn better than everyone else. It's possibly due to the fact that I like my football to be played with hard tackles and end to end football, not silky skills and one sided games. Blackburn provide this, as they have some real tough bastards in their team especially their defence. Between Neill, Todd and Nelson I can see they three getting more bookings than entire teams put together.
