No one should be surprised with this Vancouver team winning by playing defence. They took a chance when they traded for Luongo, and it was predicted that they would need him to win them some one goal games. They do lack depth scoring, especially if Naslund or Morrison hit one of their cold streaks. So by scoring early and then forcing the opponents to play to Vancouver's style, they can win that way.

The team that traps and I can't watch is New Jersey. There shit is whack.

Montreal takes Buffalo 4-3 in a great back and forth game. I still think Plecs should have gotten a Penalty Shot when he was hauled down on a clear breakaway.

Well by Season's end I'm predicting the Northeast to be Buffalo, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Boston. I'd say Buffalo first in the east, Ottawa 4th, Montreal 5th, Toronto 10th and Boston 11th.

The young stars game was kinda bland, and no one tried anything crazy in the shootout during the skills competition. Lame.

Some suggestions for next year.

- Make another shootout competition or change the current one to be like the slam dunk competition. Have judges give ratings out of 10.

- Put more microphones on players.

- Shootout relay.

Montreal vs Toronto tonight, a great way for Montreal to start their sprint for the finish. It's too bad Tucker won't be there tonight for Boullion to use as a punching bag again. It's also too bad that Wellwood is out of the line-up for Toronto, even if he plays for the wrong team, he's still a fun player to watch.

Wellwood is out for 6 to 8 weeks because what was originally thought to be a groin pull or tweak turned out to be a sports hernia. Tucker is also going to miss more time then expected. Lame.

I would love to see Toronto win at least 3 of there next 5 games. That would be a good way to start off the run to the playoffs.
