I bought this today. It brings all these great Beatles songs back to life, and George Martin did a great mixing job. I especially like the new version of "Strawberry Fields Forever". Has anyone else bought this album, and if so, what did you think?

I'm very optimistic about it actually; I mean, the last time George Martin worked on the Beatles we got InMyLife, which is one of the best cover albums ever.

It's surprisingly brilliant. It flows so well and hearing some of the stuff in stereo sound is amazing. I reccommend it.

Within you without you and Mr Kite are the best tracks on there...

I really like it. Virgin Radio played it in full the other week, without a break for about an hour and a half. It is very, very good. The new versions of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Strawberry Fields Forever are my favourite tracks.

You can actually feel the adrenaline rush from listening to it, I dont know how to explain but some songs seem to have more "power" behind them now

I think this album might introduce a new generation of fans to The Beatles. The songs sound slicker and like they were recorded in the present day, instead of the 60s and whatnot.

It's just fantastic, in my opinion. "Come Together" sounds so damn crisp.

Everything sounds a lot crisper, and it's not like he totally remixed entire songs either, they still sound similar to the originals, but there's that extra something with each one. It just sounds a lot cleaner, especially when you listen to the original versions. It's really pretty awesome.

Lady Madonna is one of my favorites. But I love the original like nothing else, so...
