Dragonforce!

Anyone else in London going to the show tomorrow night? It's like my last hurrah in the UK (until I come back) since I leave on Saturday. I'm totally pumped to see both Firewind and Dragonforce.

There's two shows. One tonight and one tomorrow. I asked about tomorrow since that's the one I'm going to.

I saw them at the Sheffield gig. Dragonforce were absolutely immense. Firewind are ok, but I wasn't keen on the lead singer - he aint that great. The other support band (All that Remains, IIRC) were quite good too.

Haven't seen them on this tour, since the only local venue they're playing was fucking Exeter. Learn2tour.

They are awesome live though. One of the diminishing number of "big" bands these days where going to one of their gigs isn't like listening to one of their albums with fans cheering overlayed on top ¬_¬

They're not quite Edguy live, but they're awesome.

All That Remains supporting Dragonforce is the stupidest idea ever.

How so?

I admit, I was sceptical at first - I'm not even a massive metalcore fan (besides a bit of Killswitch here and there) but the won me over. Good live act and it was a nice change inbetween the power metal acts.

DragonForce are awesome. I've yet to catch one of their live shows, but they were fantabulous at Download this year.

Firewind were great, but they're first vocalist was the only good one. But Gus G is their guitarist, so I mean, it's Gus mother fucking G. I'd pay 20 quid just to see him play live.

Yeah it was an awesome concert. A lot of little kids there though, they got kind of annoying.

Anyway, highlight was either singing Bohemian Rhapsody with some guys or going in a mosh pit for Dragonforce. Firewind were quality too because Gus G is the man. ATR, well, mosh.
